The Duran: Neocons cannot be stopped, they will get war

In the setting of the US refusal at the UNSC to permit a ceasefire in Palestine, reconfirmed by both Blinken and spokesman John Kirby in the last day, and increasing influx of arms, ships, warplanes, and troops into West Asia, a perfect storm is rising. The usual suspects are concurrently escalating in the Ukraine against Russia to pin her there; Serbia is experiencing unprecedented drone and aerial surveillance which usually precedes missions; they are trying to trigger another Azerbaijan-Armenia war; there is escalation across the board, with the exception of Africa and Latin America (that I am aware of!). The Chinese Navy is helping shield Iran and the Russian Navy Zircon carriers are near Australia…

It is a simultaneous full-on Charge of the Light Brigades moment against two of the three heartland powers — Russia and Iran. And both China and North Korea have indicated they will not sit out. Pure madness is in motion by a demented West, taking on forces beyond their ability to handle, even at full strength during their heyday.

I agree with Mercouris — they need a wake-up call, a bloody nose, in order to back off. Where, how and by whom can it be delivered without even further regrettable escalations?? They’ve come to sad cul-de-sacs.

Note Amarynth:  There are many discussions and everywhere.  Smoothie has one or two commentaries up and we are all tense on a wider war breaking out, which still looks likely.
