Theme:  There are many many smaller events throughout our world.  It is so that daily we expect a storm of some kind.  The empire is hitting back everywhere, but also, losing wherever it tries to shore up its loss of influence.

The Russian MoD did deep research into Covid by way of the biological labs that they found in the Ukraine and the research is broader than the Ukraine.   The current expose again named names, labs, diseases, methods and generally ripped the issue apart.  This is an important snippet from Russian General Kirillov. who confirms that COVID was an “artificial biological crisis” created by the US Government.  He says that in terms of damage, it was bigger than the 2ndWW.

Kirillov says that they provided over 2,000 pages of material to the UN so far.  He notes that there has not been one refutation of the Russian presentations.  On being asked what the response from the US is, he notes:  It is typical.  He says they get a standard reply, that these biolabs are in the interest of the National Security of the US (everything they do that is abhorrent is in their National Security interests) and the second reply is that Russia must trust the US.

All of this material is on the Russian MoD site but at the moment I have a problem to get in there – another VPN server perhaps.  If anyone can give us the link to the full batch of material, I would appreciate it.  The Embassy of Russia in the US made this statement.

The Chinese Russian military drills are now reasonably continuous.  These two forces are in a sense integrating equipment, men and method.

Russian and Chinese navies organise ship fuel replenishment and cargo transfer at sea on joint patrol in the Pacific Ocean

▫️ A training exercise comprising the replenishment of water and fuel supplies by ships from support vessels as well as the traverse method of cargo transfer was carried out in the East China Sea. During this episode, the supply vessel Taihu and the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs of the Pacific Fleet practised joint actions. The sailors trained to synchronise their rate of sailing and maintaining an interval while steering parallel courses, taking into account the ships’ displacement, the sea disturbance, and the wind speed.

▫️ Ships of Russian and PLA navies are currently operating in the waters of the East China Sea and have covered more than 6,400 nautical miles since the beginning of the patrol. During this period, the sailors of the two countries have conducted anti-submarine exercises, trained to repel an air raid, carried out rescue training at sea, and improved their skills in taking off and landing helicopters on the decks of ships.

Oops, he made a mistake:  NATO General Secretary Stoltenberg’s Chief of Staff Jenssen says his suggestion to Kiev on giving up territory (now Russian regions) in exchange for membership in bloc was a “mistake” and he said it as part of “large discussion.”

Two out of three AFU airmobile battalions have declined to launch an offensive in the Zaporozhye direction

This was reported by Balitsky, the deputy regional governor, who cited the low morale and psychological state of the soldiers.

“This involves around 500 individuals. They are weary of witnessing the loss of their fellow comrades and are unwilling to serve as mere cannon fodder,” Balitsky stated.

During attempted offensives, AFU fighters don’t even reach the initial positions and are sacrificed to “appease Western commanders,” he further added.

Ukraine may cede territory to Russia to gain NATO membership, says alliance’s top official

NATO’s director private office of the secretary general Stian Jenssen suggested that Ukraine could gain NATO membership in exchange for ceding some territory to Russia, and that this could be part of ending the Ukrainian conflict. His words are quoted (https://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/i/jl7V5e/aapner-for-at-ukraina-avgir-territorium-i-bytte-mot-nato-medlemskap) by the Norwegian media VG.

He also said that it should be up to Ukraine to decide when and on what terms they want to negotiate.

11th Moscow Conference on International Security.  I’ve posted up the major speeches.  Mr Lavrov will follow when I have his address.  This is important as the conclusions here will carry through to BRICS and all other of the newer institutions, SCO for sure and it is also interesting to see what Russia and China highlight.  It is also a deep anti-war and anti-hegemon message and worth reading with attention.

Let me add this: Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Naryshkin: Sanctions are, in fact, the illegal appropriation of what does not belong to you. By introducing them, the West unequivocally makes it clear to the other side: everything that you consider your own – land, resources, goods, technologies, communications – is actually mine, no one can buy or sell without my permission.

Any of us with Christian education whether it is active today or not, will recognize that last sentence.

This is now the second assassination after presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio was killed last Wednesday. The Presidential election is set to take place on August 20.

Drones are Dust

▫️Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with long-range sea-based precision weapons against the production and storage sites of unmanned boats used by the AFU for terrorist attacks.

▫️The goal of the attack has been reached. All the assigned targets have been neutralised.

Norwegians make U-Turn

On 14 August 2023, an air target approaching the State border of the Russian Federation was detected by Russian airspace control facilities over the Barents Sea.

▫️A MiG-29 fighter jet from the air defenсe duty of the Northern Fleet forces scrambled in order to identify the air target and prevent violation of the State Border of the Russian Federation.

▫️ The crew of the Russian fighter identified the aerial target as a P-8A Poseidon aircraft of the Royal Norwegian Air Force basic patrol aviation.

▫️ When a Russian fighter approached, the foreign military aircraft performed a U-turn from the State Border of the Russian Federation. Violation of the State border of the Russian Federation was prevented.

This is a fairly regular occurrence but this was a big one – freedom of navigation everywhere – long in duration and serious aircraft!

Long-Range Aviation aircraft perform scheduled flights in airspace over neutral waters of Baltic, Barents, Norwegian, East Siberian, Chukchi, Beaufort seas and Arctic Ocean

▫️The event involved strategic missile carriers Tu-160 and Tu-95ms, as well as long-range bombers Tu-22m3. The longest flight was more than 7 hours.

▫️Fighter escort was provided by crews of Su-35s, Su-27, MiG-31 aircraft of the Aerospace Forces and Naval Aviation.

Niger

We follow the Niger (so-far not a coup but a popular regime change) on this thread and any update threads that are necessary. For anyone that knows something about Africa, it is fascinating to see how the neo-colonialists (the second phase of colonialism) are being overturned. This is not important only for Africa and the region, but also for the process of multipolarity. Just after Vicky Nuland visited Niger and was treated with disdain, the story started that the ousted President Bazoum may be in danger and that the new regime will kill him, should there be military action against Niger. The story stank to high heaven and one could see the process of media mockingbirding. Well, he is fine, as stated by his personal doctor. This is a very popular non-violent regime change and I am stunned that so far, it remains non-violent. My thinking is that Bazoum may quietly resign if the trajectory remains as it is now.

Russia carries out ship inspections as they said they would. 

On 13 August at about 6.40 a.m. Moscow time, the Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Vasily Bykov, which was carrying out shipping control monitoring, detected the bulk cargo ship Sukra Okan under the flag of Palau, which was on its way to the Ukrainian port of Izmail, in the south-western part of the Black Sea.

▫️ The captain of the bulk cargo ship did not respond to the request to stop for inspection for the carriage of prohibited goods.

▫️ The Russian warship opened warning fire from automatic small arms fire to forcefully stop the vessel.

▫️ In order to inspect the bulk cargo ship, a Ka-29 helicopter with a group of Russian servicemen was hoisted from the patrol ship Vasily Bykov.

▫️ Following radio conversations, the ship stopped its course and the boarding team landed on the bulk cargo ship.

▫️ After the work of the boarding team on board Sukra Okan was completed, the vessel continued its journey to the port of Izmail.

▫️ Black Sea Fleet ships continue patrolling in the designated areas.
