A possible plus for South Africa as a BRICS member, or the Grim Reaper cometh

We support our BRICS members, despite the frequent sharp critique.   After the debacle with Mr.Putin’s possible visit to South Africa, and the eventual announcement that he will not attend the BRICS summit in August in Johannesburg, but will attend via video link, the South Africans put lipstick on a pig, and announced the great miracle of Ramaphosa’s great victory because he moderated the situation by supposed agreement with everyone else.  Let that be for now.
