The US is rolling you. Poland just rolled you. Ukraine rolled you with made-up rumors of missiles and screaming alarms during your visit and led you into a shelter in complete pretense, they led you to sip at the poisoned cup of Bucha, your high-level delegation fell apart, your support staff were locked in an airplane in Poland and could not do their support work, not even your main security man could get out to be your protection.

We are glad that you are in Russia now because you are safe there.  You were not safe in Ukraine. We all know what they do and no matter how the African press denounces the scandal, no matter how unprecedented in the affairs of countries, you were still rolled.

Dear Cyril

You are a very good negotiator. I know as I’ve once sat across a table from you and in those old times, we liked and respected one another. I believe you had a list of recommendations? suggestions? demands?. Did you not study the landscape before you took off? Do you not realize that your comments have been nixed by Ukraine a number of times? Did you not expect a roll? That is what these people do, my old friend.

In the meantime, I was listening to your main opposition in the upcoming election, addressing his youth league. He is a firebrand, decidedly deficient in simple addition and subtraction, and possibly not very bright. (You might just have a very serious education problem). Yet, I was surprised to note that he had learned a few lessons. Do you know what he says? He asks why is South Africa selling all their coal to the US and Europe and shorting the many coal-powered energy producers in your country. Why do we sell our coal to Biden?, he asks. He says and he is correct, that South Africa is by no means ready for a green revolution. He states it simply: We need electricity in the country before we can make any moves to any revolution. This was but one of his points and however clumsily presented, he had many of them right.

And now, obey the forms in Russia and respect the people. But please go home and deal with the problems there. You may pick up a clue in Russia and learn to respect your own people, all of them, as they respect theirs. We would like to be proud of all of our BRICS members.

For heaven’s sake, stop Rolling and handing the opportunity for Trolling to who you know is an enemy. I expected you of all people, great negotiator for the mine worker’s union in the long ago and young days, to be prepared.  All that was good and I am glad to say this, was the African requirements in your final speech.  You were in the right place there, and doing good work.
