This is dark and depressing. Facing the circumstances and the reality is however necessary. Alex and Alexander considers that we are literally on the brink of a bigger war. What is positive and not being discussed, is that neither Russia nor China wants a bigger war. We are standing on the brink of a larger kinetic war, but it is still somewhat early. And no criticism, but Alexander Mercouris does tend to take a negative view and bases much of what he says on ‘who said what’, whether it is dog whistling or not. In reality, I do not disagree, but I think there still is space. And then of course, the woke rainbow pride warriors are not a clear and present danger. So, how big is the threat really? We are in a hybrid war and in a SMO in Ukraine. As Andrei Maryanov says frequently, the SMO is not a war. Will nuclear countries start lobbing nuclear weapons at one another?
The basic purpose of nuclear weapons is to utterly defeat and destroy your adversary. Therefore, you judge first the response possible of a nuclear attack you launch before your adversary does. There could be some figures in the US stupid enough to want war, but I feel sure that as soon as that is suggested, the military will step in.
