The Scary New Phase of the Ukraine Proxy-War | Prof. Steven Starr

With Pascal at Neutrality Studies featuring a new voice for us:  Prof Steven Starr.

This video came recommended from a correspondent, reader and infrequent commentator who describes himself as “well retired from the political advisory world. ”   Thank-You!

Our correspondent notes:

The world today is facing 2 blocs of assertion of power … China, Russia, Iran, North Korea (DPRK) being one bloc and Israel, US, being second with a third fractured bloc “watching” . Yes you know this very well but that needs more exposure.

There are existential threats facing the first two blocs. There will be NO stepping back from the brink based on current political behaviour  … Its all or nothing and its becoming more DANGEROUS with too much casual talk re Nukes.

Prof Starr is as wise as Alastair Crooke.  While US based and US culture he doesn’t blow US trumpet.

It is accurate that we seldom feature this specific perspective.  There is a reason:  Professor Starr mentions that he has become distrustful of the media out there as he does not know whether something is a psyop or propaganda or what it is.  This is why I prefer to post material as close as possible to actual voices of governance, where the power is and where the agency for change resides.  The G7 countries are now a drop in the ocean and the ‘other world’ is very big.  Prof Starr describes a third ‘fractured’ bloc.  It is true.  My description of this is ‘those pesky middle countries’ and I consider the BRICS currently as the primary school for specifically getting these pesky middle countries to think differently.  It is of course frustrating.  Currently they are not only “watching”, but they are desperately crawling for influence in a world that soon will not exist in its current form.  I remind you, now that the US election is over, of Brazil where the Brazilians were very sure what they were voting for and why and the part of their government as supported by the US is trying to run a sad ‘government in exile’ from Miami.    We’ve seen a spectacular overnight change in the US.   **But they only changed a color on the color wheel.  They did not change the wheel.   Whether this is a positive change or not, whether the wheel will change as it must, is highly questionable.  For today, we will just take it that a change is as good as a holiday.  This is an important video from Prof Starr but it is typical of the US and the European educated classes.  It is striking that the US population as well as the European populations are only now beginning to really question what is going on around them.  If we consider the US midterms as a proverbial revolution, I dare you to take a look at revolutions and consider how many of those were ‘successful’.  Using the word revolution for descriptive purposes, which revolution will lead to the type of change that is positive for humankind.  This one that we’ve just seen in the US, or the Brazilian one?

Our correspondent is correct on perspectives that need more exposure.  Yet, as resistance, what is more important?  An Ansarallah  with sandals standing in the desert saying:  step one step closer and we shoot your ass and sink your boat, or Iran saying that they will not take one step backwards from their seven requirements and will sink your boat, or Russia saying that they will reach their objectives:  either a good and reliable lasting peace with no NATO or nazis on their borders, or they will keep fighting and sink your boat, or China saying that this world must understand the concepts of Global Governance, the world at large must adhere to the body of international law gathered in the UN, and … try and touch us and you’re dead.   (If you watch the Chinese military development you will not question that statement).  The DPRK is comical, but very serious.  As soon as things heat up, they just shoot a few missiles to keep themselves exercised and just to remind everyone where they stand.

That is where the massive change is.   Much loose talking about nukes is of course worrying because these are madmen.  Yet, this is the talk of lost collective west generations who have become uprooted and unmoored from their so-called values, and cannot and will not understand that they are now the minority.  More than that, they are hated and mocked and their cover for Israel at the UN while we see a genocide has made them lose any agency to say anything or project any power.  The genocide remains the defining arbiter of honor in our time, and not some collective west values that are defined on the fly as they are needed to try and remain in a state of primacy.

Oh yes, before I forget, Trump is Toast, Bloody Bibi is hanging on by his fingernails as a caretaker and not for long. while a tsunami of change is incoming.  The pundits will make whole videos of that.  We will ignore most of them, and remain with our proverbial Ansarallah with sandals and morals with our feet on the ground and remain studying where the agency in our world is.  Nevertheless I take seriously our correspondent’s view that the big picture needs more exposure.

To our surprise the Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei was on the forefront of that exposure today, with a few well chosen X Posts.  (Who could have thunk? 😀)

The process of the US’s collapse has accelerated.

and:

If there are still those who entertain even the slightest hope that the hegemonic system may change its behavior or that shifts in its political parties and factions may bring about a change, or if there are people who imagine that by making concessions to the US, they can persuade it to abandon its hostility toward the Iranian nation, they are gravely mistaken.

**A final note on changing a color on the color wheel.

— During a televised interview on Fox News, host Jesse Watters directly asked Abdul El-Sayed, “Are you glad the Ayatollah is dead?”, referring to the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ali Khamenei. The pig shit eater, a bloddy takfiri El-Sayed immediately replied, “Yeah, he was a terrible person,” before moving on to his usual talking points.

Think about the contradiction: a man who claims to oppose Trump’s terrible regime has no hesitation in condemning the very leader whom Trump killed. Are we really expected to believe that these Democrats will deliver justice for us or for anyone else?

Abdul El-Sayed may be a hero to those who are submissive to this political establishment, but to us, he is nothing more than another product of the same rotten gene. His words place him in the same moral gutter as Trump, whose political order he supposedly opposes. He can dress himself up in progressive slogans, but those slogans cannot conceal the contempt reflected in his remarks.

Whether it is Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayed, Trump, Biden, or anyone else in the American ruling class; they hate us, and so we hate them all!

A curse be upon them–Enemy Watch.

If we think like Prof Starr thinks, that Russia will ongoing have problems with the numbers of drones flying into Russia, we need to seriously consider what a thousand drones actually do to Russia, if only two of them hit something and perhaps only once in 3 weeks hit something material.  Russia demolishes two or three drone factories per night.
