❗️Yemen asserts right to respond to Saudi ISIS-linked activity

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned what it described as Saudi-backed ISIS-linked activities targeting Yemen’s security and stability, calling on the international community to assume its responsibility.

In a statement, the ministry said the alleged activities echoed Saudi actions in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and other countries across the region. It affirmed Yemen’s “legitimate right” to respond and said it would take the necessary measures.

The ministry added that the uproar from some regional governments over any legitimate Yemeni response serves to “cover and legitimize” Saudi ISIS-linked activities.
