Professor Marandi: The White House has trapped itself in a ‘lose-lose’ situation

Speaking on Monday’s episode of Al Mayadeen’s The Grand Standoff: Iran and the World, Professor Mohammad Marandi said messages conveyed by the United States through Oman, Qatar, and Pakistan have failed to meet Iran’s expectations. He said the latest US aggression against Iranian forces demonstrated that the White House is not only “hostile and murderous,” but has also trapped itself in a “lose-lose situation.” Professor Marandi warned that further escalation would rapidly worsen the situation, while maintaining the current course could eventually lead to a global economic crisis.
