Medvedev : “There is no forgiveness for such scoundrels”
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council and chairman of United Russia, delivered a fiery speech at the party’s congress in Moscow. Key points:
➡️Russia is withstanding immense external pressure and moving toward victory in the SMO. Medvedev called Russia’s enemies “cynical scoundrels” who believed they could break the country.
➡️Ukraine has already lost half its population and 20% of the territory that once accidentally ended up within its borders, and more of that territory will keep returning to Russia, he said.
➡️He called the Kiev regime “a band of Christ-sellers led by a drug addict,” and described Ukraine as a “phantom country” that for decades raised “moral degenerates in bright national embroidered shirts, with wild hatred for everything Russian,” people who quickly turned into “the dogs” Russian forces are now burning off on the battlefield.
➡️He called the current leaders of the EU and individual European states “degenerates, direct descendants and heirs of the fascists,” and dismissed the push to “tear Russia’s economy to shreds” as a “mantra from the Western kennel,” insisting Russia is withstanding the pressure.
➡️He pledged assistance to everyone who suffered from the actions of the Kiev regime, with new measures reflected in United Russia’s program.
➡️Medvedev also addressed Russians living abroad who he said “scattered into quiet corners like cockroaches” and now “pathetically yap” at Russia, wishing it defeat. “Their country is at war, whatever they call themselves, soldiers and civilians are dying, and they wish death upon their own country. There is no forgiveness for such scoundrels, and there cannot be,” he said.
➡️He called historical memory Russia’s immunity against enemy attempts to divide its people, and said United Russia identified seven key challenges for the country, including demography, the economy, culture, and security. He named raising the minimum wage to 35,000 rubles in the medium term as one of the party’s key goals, and said Russia will defend the rights of compatriots abroad.
