Truth comes in diverse containers

This is outside of my usual lane.  Yet, I enjoyed it and more than that, there is recognizable truth.  A friend sent me two videos from a Priest, Munther Isaac, from the Bethlehem Institute for Peace and Justice.

The first one comments on Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical, and the long standing theological assumptions behind the ‘Just War’ theology, that has underpinned Christian support for war.  This has been a core value for the Catholic Church and I know it is a core value and basis of the Christian zionists.  The issue of justice is front and center and that should be within all our lanes, no matter the container that it comes in, this time.   

The second comments more on theological issues and speaks on the issue of land and the ownership in the Israeli depiction, vs stewardship.  We’ve all heard it:  ‘God Gave Us This Land’.  We’ve seen Bloody Bibi in the piece posted up this morning:  Defiance, destruction, and permanent expansion — Netanyahu lays out his strategy

This is but one of the lies and understanding from an old testamentic theological perspective is valuable as Zion already lost their stewardship at the time the book was gathered together.
