It seems the new IDF attempt at capturing the strategic Ali al-Taher Hill failed, with the advancing forces being repelled by Hezbollah.

This hill is one of Hezbollah’s main strongholds, and overlooks the city of Nabatieh. It consists of numerous deep bunkers and tunnels, and is surrounded by other hills under Hezbollah control.

The IDF failed to take it earlier this week and last week. This time they suffered at least 4 killed and 17 injured trying to capture it.

The Israeli “army” failed to occupy Ali al-Taher heights in Nabatieh.  Battles are taking place on the heights of Ali al-Taher in Nabatieh, and there are very difficult events, and a number of soldiers have been killed.  Many tanks were hit and wounded “army” personnel are being evacuated after anti-tank missiles and drones were fired. —

Severe conflict in southern Lebanon with intense clashes reported

🔹 Field sources reported intense clashes between Hezbollah forces and the Israeli army in various axes of southern Lebanon; Clashes that are accompanied by extensive exchange of fire, artillery attacks and firing of rockets and missiles.

🔹 So far, 5 military vehicles have been destroyed by Hezbollah fighters

🔹 It is said that 4 helicopters of the Israeli army have entered the conflict zone to evacuate the wounded.

🔹 Most of the conflicts were reported around Kafrtbanit, Kafrjouz and Jabal al-Rafi and Ali al-Tahir axis.

🔹 Israeli fighters carried out two air attacks on the Marj al-Safa area between the settlements of Zebedin and Shokin.

🔹 At the same time as Hezbollah fighters attacked the occupying forces, Israeli fighters targeted areas in the towns of “Kafrman”, “Kafrjoz” and “Haruf” in Al-Nabatieh province.

🔹Also, the center of “Al-Rihan” town and the “Al-Sharqiya” region in southern Lebanon were targeted by the Israeli army’s airstrikes.

🔹 Meanwhile, local sources reported heavy and widespread artillery shelling by the Israeli army against the city of Nabatieh and its surrounding areas.

It looks like the bloodsoaked ones are avoiding strikes on Beirut.  News sources report hand-to-hand clashes between Hezbollah fighters and Zionist soldiers in the Ali al-Tahr area in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah manages to stop the IDF’s advance and incursion via attacking vehicles, convoys, targeting troop gatherings of soldiers and Merkava tanks are burning.

There are a substantial number of IDF casualties.  Four, as well as a commander, could be identified but there are more. judging by the number of helicopters doing evacuations.   Israel reports as usual a “security incident”.   Hezbollah reported 18 martyrs and 33 wounded.  There are separate reports for civilians as usual, mainly women and children killed in massacre style.

The Israeli enemy army has been attempting for four days to advance toward the town of Kfar Tibnit and the Ali al-Taher area through multiple routes, supported by intense artillery shelling targeting the area and an aerial intelligence blockade carried out by enemy reconnaissance aircraft.

Fighters of the Islamic Resistance have responded to all these attempts by targeting enemy movements and concentrations with missiles, drones, and strike UAVs, inflicting heavy losses on officers, soldiers, and military vehicles. This forced the enemy to retreat and deploy helicopters under smoke and artillery cover at night to evacuate its losses.

On Wednesday, 17-06-2026, at 08:00, after detecting an Israeli infantry force infiltrating to take positions on the northeastern outskirts of the town of Kfar Tibnit, and with the call “O Aba Abdallah,” Resistance fighters targeted it with a swarm of drones and Ababil strike UAVs, causing killed and wounded among its members. The fighters then continued their assault with rocket salvos and artillery shells toward the target area.

At 01:50 on Thursday, 18-06-2026, while the enemy attempted to regroup again at the crossing area, the fighters targeted a Merkava tank with appropriate weapons, achieving a confirmed hit that forced the assembled force to withdraw from the area.

The Islamic Resistance confirms that enemy forces are still present on the southern outskirts of Kfar Tibnit toward Arnoun, and that the Kfar Tibnit–Ali al-Taher area will remain resistant to enemy infiltration. The fighters will continue to inscribe “Karbala-like epics” in its defense of their country and people.
