The U.S. Coast Guard has allowed a Russian state-owned tanker carrying around 730,000 barrels of crude oil to reach Cuba, according to NYT, citing U.S. officials, breaking months of a U.S. oil blockade imposed under Trump-era policy.

As of Sunday afternoon, the tanker was less than 15 miles from Cuban waters, according to MarineTraffic.

This is a good example of Trump’s lies and how misinformation in MAGA circles spreads fast.

First of all… Trump starts by repeating the lie from last week that Iran allowed 8+2 boats, which never happened. Then he tries to take credit for 20 Pakistani boats from a separate deal Iran made with Pakistan, but that’s not what happened. Now major MAGA accounts on X are massively amplifying this, with some even claiming the US Navy is escorting the tankers.

None of this is true. Absolutely nothing.

The possibility of Iran’s withdrawal from the Nuclear Non‑Proliferation Treaty (NPT) is under discussion in Tehran, Iranian media reported on Saturday, Anadolu reports.

Around the world, fertilizer stocks have started to decline following rising fuel prices. With the outbreak of hostilities, supplies of urea, ammonia, and sulfur have been disrupted. This continual stream of Ukrainian drones against Russia – Once Russia hits back, they hit back BIG.

Ukraine was subjected to a massive drone attack on the night of March 29th.

442 drones of various types were launched over Ukraine, including about 300 “Gerans”, as well as Kinzhal (Dagger) missiles. According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks were aimed at energy and transport logistics. In some regions, the strikes are still ongoing.

China donates 60,000 tons of rice to Cuba.

“The first shipment of 60,000 tons of rice donated by China set sail for Cuba this Thursday, the Cuban Embassy in Shanghai announced.

In a message posted on its official Twitter account. The diplomatic mission added that “in the face of adversity, the solidarity of true friends prevails and demonstrates that #CubaIsNotAlone.”

China has stated on several occasions that it will continue its “support and assistance” to Cuba in the face of repeated threats from the United States. And condemned Washington’s pressure, which “compromises regional peace and stability.”
