Major GenZ protests in Mexico City’s square today at the presidential palace. I need to update after reviewing local commentary.  This was smaller than most women’s or feminist marches.  The violent part lasted for about an hour.  Mexicans with businesses around did not even close up.  The overwhelming consensus:   “Staged colour revolution mini attempt. The major change that I can see, is on who is to manage the Palestinian cause on an interim basis. Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Army General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Lieutenant General Andrey Averyanov held negotiations with the President of Mali during a working visit to Bamako.

Rubio: The US is ‘running out of targets to sanction’ in Russia

[No surprise there — Russia is now the most sanctioned country in the world, with over 30,000 restrictions imposed since 2014.

Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira again asked U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio for Washington’s response to the proposal made by Brazil on November 4 to suspend the “tariff hike” against Brazilian products. The two had a brief conversation during a break in the G7 meetings in Niagara, Canada.

➡️ It was the second in-person meeting between the two ministers since direct discussions between the countries began on October 6. Vieira emphasized to the U.S. representative the Brazilian government’s urgency to move forward in negotiations with the White House.

⌛ It has been 37 days of talks without a trade agreement being reached. A new round of negotiations is scheduled for today in the U.S. capital, following multiple requests from President Lula’s (PT) administration.
