Putin: Tests of the Burevestnik missile have been completed

Russia tested advanced weapon prototypes during strategic nuclear forces exercise, Russian President Putin stated. The Russian Armed Forces carried out training and combat launches involving all three components of the country’s strategic nuclear triad during the drills held earlier this week, he said.

The Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile is a unique system with no analogues in the world, he said, adding that the key testing objectives have been successfully achieved.

🔸 The Burevestnik test, which took place on October 21, saw the missile cover a distance of 14,000 kilometers — and that is not the limit, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to the President.

🔸 According to Gerasimov, the Burevestnik demonstrated its capability to bypass missile defense systems.

🔸 Putin noted that significant work still lies ahead before the missile can be placed on combat duty.

China is getting feisty in who can come to their party. The German Chancellor planned a visit to China, but Xi Jinping did not find time for him. The cancellation of German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul’s visit to China is a “foreign policy catastrophe” for Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s government, Die Welt reports.

Merz has led the German government for almost half a year, but has not yet made a single visit to China since taking office. At the same time, according to the newspaper, “days had been reserved in the Chancellor’s Office calendar for next week” for a possible trip by Merz to China.

A lot of fun will be visible in the next week when Trump arrives east to threaten the middle countries. ASEAN is a BRICS and SCO shop.  Modi is already not going as he does not want interaction with Trump.  APEC is losing relevance. Trump has said he will speak to Xi Jinping about soybeans and also about helping with Ukraine. This morning, he landed in Qatar for airplane refueling and met with the Emir of Qatar aboard Air Force One en route to Malaysia. Rubio was with him, making belligerent announcements that the US will not give up its relationship with Taiwan for trade deals with China. If you read the Chinese professional readouts and see what their diplomats say, that is red line territory and they say Taiwan is their internal affair and to stop the meddling. We may see that the US gets no trade deals and its relationship with Taiwan is cut off by bureaucratic means if this is the way they approach the Chinese. If nobody is sure of this yet, but China has lost patience and will not play in Demented Donald’s circus tent.

Trumo again said that China is cutting back substantially on Russian oil and India is halting purchases completely.

China responded immediately: The Chinese foreign affairs minister: “China considers sanctions against Russia illegal and has no intention of interrupting trade with Russia. It views purchasing oil from Russia as a normal safeguard of its economic interests.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Sweet diplomacy: Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev brought Putin-themed chocolates to the US as a “Russia–US dialogue” gift.

Boxes featured the Putin quotes “We don’t abandon our own” and “Talking to Russia from a position of strength is pointless.”

The world majority stands up for Venezuela. Simon Bolivar Internationalist Brigade’ will form to DEFEND Venezuela — Nicolas Maduro announces

‘Men and women from all over the world want to come and fight for Venezuelan independence, sovereignty and peace!’

Founders of the brigade called Venezuela a ‘hope for humanity’

(They also want to fight against Hegemon and Venezuela is a worthy cause. If this breaks out, you will see the world there. It can be good, or it can be bad. I hope there is very strong military management skill – Uhm, is this a start of the world majority against the Hegemon?)

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Amazing US Americans. Maga is angry about foreign wars, but they are united on making war against Venezuela. Here is a little cut from one of our reliable channels that responded to Alex Jones.

Alex Jones responds to Basira Press on X/Twitter to claim Trump is ending CIA involvement in the drug trade

Jones is regurgitating the baseless propaganda to justify the war against Venezuela by claiming it is a “Communist Narco-Terrorist State,” for which we replied to his post by stating that the US is the only narco-terrorist state with a short clip of a former LAPD officer confronting the CIA director of the time about the agency’s involvement in drug trafficking.

Jones responded (https://x.com/RealAlexJones/status/1981828851543204194) to us by claiming that Trump is “ending that.”

Ah yes, just like Trump will release the Epstein files and stop the war in Ukraine.

So, Jones is probably an edge case.  What about Taylor-Green?  No foreign wars, excepting the ones that they like eh.  Or is it a Trump Circus with some blood sacrifice to try and reunite MAGA?

We see a tremendous amount of news and media that is meaningless. With the sheer volume it is getting more difficult to sort out the wheat from the chaff. Here is something that is supposed to be wheat and turned into chaff.

Saturday’s trade talks between US and Chinese delegations in Malaysia have concluded, and a representative from the US Treasury Department described them as “very constructive,” AFP reports. The representative expects the talks to continue on Sunday.

Very constructive from these representatives is beginning to mean “We hear the words but we don’t have a clue”.

Spot on Dmitry Peskov! Difference between Barbarians and Civilizationals 👏👏👏

Vladimir Putin always shows respect to his colleagues and never makes derogatory remarks about them, said President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov

“For me, for example, in terms of manners, President Putin is an unparalleled authority. He has never called even the most pathetic head of state such a thing,” he emphasized.

He noted that the Russian leader “not always kindly, but always respectfully” speaks about other leaders and treats colleagues on the international stage with respect.

SMO Weekly Update: There is no change in the Russian position here, not before Trump’s attempt at creating yet another circus with the Budapest ‘supposed’ meeting, and not after.  It gets tiring to say it  because we don’t see it, but the change is that the front line is slowly but surely crumbling.  I really think Russia is playing time, and honestly do not want this to happen quickly.  But they are open to a quick diplomatic solution, given their requirements are fulfilled.  While NATO waffles, Russia will continue.  While nazism continues, Russia will continue.  While there is no indivisible security, Russia will continue.   I have no idea where they will stop.  But they won’t stop until their requirements are fulfilled, to once and for all prevent this European and collective west war habit from happening again.  And this is precisely what Kirill Dmitriev, during his visit to the US, told Fox News today.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have liberated Bologovka in Kharkov region, Dronovka and Promin in the DPR, and Pershotravnevoye in Dnepropetrovsk region.

In response to the terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian infrastructure on the territory of the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out one massive and six group strikes. As a result, enterprises of the Ukrainian defence industry, transport and energy facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, assembly areas, production, storage, and launch sites of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations, nationalists, and foreign mercenaries were hit.
✅ The targets were defeated, all the assigned facilities were neutralised.  (Ukraine is going into winter without power and without resources – it will be a long, dark and cold winter).

Weekly summary (7 days from October 18 to 24)

Weekly losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in equipment: 1 aircraft, 3 multiple rocket launchers, 16 tanks, 85 armored vehicles, 1441 drones. Also destroyed, which have finally stopped matching – from 483 (according to the weekly report) to 574 vehicles (according to the daily report), and from 105 (according to the weekly report) to 220 artillery pieces (according to the daily report).

Weekly losses of AFU militants were the highest since the end of January 2025 and amounted to 10,935 servicemen (10,685 a week earlier), of which 3,610 were in the Pokrovsky direction (3,705 a week earlier), 2,365 in Yuzhno-Donetsk (2,315), 1,610 in Kupyansk (1,570), 1,485 in Donetsk (1,345), and 1,375 in Kharkiv-Sumy (1315), 490 on Kherson (435).

Average daily losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine increased to 1562 military personnel (1526 a week earlier). Minimum losses were recorded on October 21 – 1460, maximum on October 24 – 1630.

Interesting: I guess somebody figured out that this Venezuelan gal has never done anything for peace in her life!

The Norwegian Peace Council announced that there will be no Nobel Prize celebration due to disagreement with the selection of María Corina Machado.  The Norwegian Peace Council announced this Friday that it will not organize this year’s traditional torchlight procession through downtown Oslo on the day of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, due to its disagreement with the selection of the Venezuelan María Corina Machado.

This entity, which brings together 17 Norwegian pacifist organizations and around 15,000 activists, stated that it made this decision because its members “do not feel that this year’s laureate aligns with the fundamental values of the Norwegian Peace Council or our members.”

“It is a difficult but necessary decision. We have great respect for the Nobel Committee and the Peace Prize as an institution, but as an organization, we must remain true to our principles and to the broad peace movement we represent. We hope to celebrate the prize again in the coming years,” said its president, Eline H. Lorentzen, in a statement.  💬 “Some of her methods are not consistent with our principles and values or those of our member organizations, such as the promotion of dialogue and nonviolent methods,” Lorentzen also told the newspaper VG.

From India: India will not make a deal with the US “at gunpoint”, said (https://www.vedomosti.ru/politics/news/2025/10/24/1149514-sdelku-pod-dulom) the Republic’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal at the Berlin Global Dialogue conference.

According to the minister, the country is focused on the long term and does not make hasty decisions under pressure.

Goyal noted that India has accepted the fact of tariffs imposed against it and is looking for ways to solve this problem, including exploring new markets.

The CIA is considering dissolving its China center as the US quietly backs away from confrontation (for now) – realizing it has little leverage against China.

“CIA is now considering dissolving its China Mission Center as part of its broader realignment that de-emphasizes confrontation with China,” and also in part “for its ineffectiveness, having consumed vast resources with little to show for it.”

China decimated the CIA’s intelligence gathering operation in China back in 2010, 2012, and it has never recovered.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Venezuela heats up day by day. Demented Donald said he will not declare formal war on Venezuela bypassing any opposition which Congress could make. Some announcement said that they are combining the War on Terror with the War on Drugs.

Trump is ready to launch the second GWOT and regime-change Venezuela while claiming to “fight cartels”, ‘on the ground‘ he says. They’ve learnt nothing from Afghanistan, Iraq or Libya. https://sputnikglobe.com/20251024/trump-suggests-land-war-on-drugs-1123007585.html

President Maduro stated that Venezuela has 5,000 of a specific type of Russian missile, appropriate for the theater and terrain and the country is ready. Local gossip goes that there are Russian support and training personnel on the ground.
But local gossip also states that there are Iranian missiles, support and training personnel on the ground. It is almost as if we’re on the point of entering Fog of War.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

There is an interesting small addition in the Russia MoD’s daily report on the SMO, calling out US weaponry.

Strategic Strikes: Russian forces unleashed a massive assault and six group strikes against Ukraine’s military-industrial complex and its supporting energy facilities
Air defense superiority: Russian air defence systems shot down a Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, four cruise missiles, 18 guided aerial bombs, 15 HIMARS MLRS projectiles of the United States, and 1,441 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ASEAN summit is just about starting. World leaders are already arriving in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a start on October 26th. We will have more on this very interesting summit,

🔹🔹🔹🔹.

The new Japanese Prime Minister-elect Sanae Takaichi announced that they would like to sign a peace treaty with Russia. Since the 2nd WW no peace treaty exists between the two countries – hence Peskov’s comments re Japan.

Key statements of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

🔹Putin’s statement on the response to possible Tomahawk strike attempts is eloquent and comprehensive, there is nothing to explain here;

🔹Moscow is analyzing new sanctions against Russia;

🔹Russia is not acting against anyone, but for its own benefit, and it will do what best suits its interests amid new sanctions;

🔹Neither Putin nor Trump want to meet just for the sake of a meeting and a waste time, preparation is essential for effectiveness;

🔹Putin, like Trump, does not rule out holding a Russia-US summit in the future;

🔹The pause in negotiation process on Ukraine is due to Kiev’s reluctance to intensify the dialogue, which is encouraged by European curators;

🔹The Kremlin assesses the situation with the negotiations on Ukraine as an overly protracted pause;

🔹The dialogue between Tokyo and Moscow was reduced to practically zero due to the position of previous Japanese leaders;

🔹A new Japanese prime minister’s intention to conclude a peace treaty with Russia is most welcome;

🔹Japan currently takes a very unfriendly stance toward Russia and has joined all sanctions against the country.

Trump has publicly admitted in an interview with Time Magazine just a few hours ago, that the explosion attacks by Israel via pagers used by Hezbollah – were conducted “with me directly… with Israel doing the attacks, with the pagers and all that stuff.”

Trump was not in office at the time.  The image is the golden pager Netanyahu gave to Trump as a gift.

I cannot comment as I do not know the legal situation. Still, the US commenting population says, “Trump may have admitted to working with a foreign military on a covert operation without any legal authority to do so.    If accurate, this could amount to a violation of the Logan Act. This U.S. law forbids private citizens from conducting diplomacy or coordinating with foreign governments on military or political matters. The act was created to prevent individuals from undermining official U.S. foreign policy or acting as “shadow governments.”

https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/163906

It was a horrible terrorist attack with children losing eyes and hands, and thousands of Lebanese were injured, with deaths recorded.  It maimed thousands of people.   If Trump’s story is true, this is as criminal as the killing of General Suleimani.

Donald Trump is holding a meeting now at the White House with his national security team.  A statement is expected on planned “ground strikes” as part of the ongoing operation against “drug cartels” in the Caribbean region.  Strong words are coming from the White House Barbie: “Trump is not interested in de-escalation with Colombia.”

We also see a coordinated escalation right through the Middle East-West Asia.  Hegseth has arrived in Israel to take over from Rubio.  Seemingly, one of Trump’s key people will now be in West Asia continuously.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

And this just in. So comical, such a mockery! Remember, Trump said that he does not want to waste his time on the Budapest meeting.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says he hopes Russian President Vladimir Putin will find the opportunity to comment on US President Donald Trump’s statement about canceling a bilateral meeting in Budapest. Subtext, Putin does not have time for this crappy theater. 😂😂😂 Just casually brushing this all off, but with perfect manners. Knowing that Trump is a megalomaniac, this will drive him to distraction. Russia wins this cup!

So Putin is making some comments.  We will wait until we have a transcript, as it is not readily available on a full video, and there are nuances and trolling off the charts.  Here is one – the EU created sanctions against toilets from Russia.  Putin says .. “Refusing our toilets will cost them dearly. They will need them if they continue such a policy,”.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Maria Zakharova said: The Kremlin will give a comment on US President Donald Trump’s statements about the cancellation of the Russia-US meeting. Now we wait but it will be very interesting to see who makes this comment. Usually Peskov’s comments are available early in my morning and by this time, they are posted up already if there is interesting commentary. Today, nothing yet. Clearly there are discussions in the Kremlin as to how to respond.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Zakharova: Not a step backwards. ‘No particular problems for Russia’ — Russian MFA spox shrugs off new US-EU sanctions

🗣 Taking aim at Washington’s sanctions (https://t.me/SputnikInt/94012) on Rosneft and Lukoil, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the move was “entirely counterproductive”, adding that the measures won’t cause any real damage.

Commenting on the EU’s new sanctions, she noted that Brussels’ restrictive measures have “largely exhausted themselves,” and warned that Moscow would respond in a measured but decisive way.

Medvedev: unfiltered – no diplo filters

Trump cancels the Budapest summit. The US slaps new sanctions on our country. What next? Will there be some new weapons apart from the notorious Tomahawk missiles?

If any of the numerous commentators still harbor any illusions – here you go. The US is our adversary, and its verbose ‘peacemaker’ is now firmly on the warpath against Russia. Granted, he isn’t always actively fighting on the side of the Banderite Kiev regime just yet, but now it’s his conflict, not senile old Biden’s! Some will obviously say he had no other option now because of the pressure from Congress, etc., but that still doesn’t change the most important thing: these decisions are an act of war against Russia. And now Trump is completely aligned with mad Europe.

This new swing of the Trump pendulum has an important upside though – it allows us to pound the Banderite hideouts with all kinds of weapons without superfluous negotiations holding us back. And to achieve victory in the only place where it’s possible, which is on the ground, not behind a bureaucrat’s desk. By destroying the enemy, not by making meaningless ‘deals’.

Oct 22

Bessent just announced substantial Russian sanctions, which will be announced later today or tomorrow morning. “Mr. Putin did not come to the table in an honest and forthright manner.”  Do yourself a favor and take a quick listen.

https://t.me/rtnews/117397

The EU has announced sanctions package 19 on Russia.

Sanctions are unilateral coercive measures.  Russia won’t be coerced.  Neither will India stop buying oil and China will not stop either.  The Budapest meeting is now really dead.   Trump says the US cancelled it.  (Dedollarization has just had an injection of speed and BRICS will triple their activities.  We will see how Russia takes the lead on this. Of course,  accusing President Putin of not being honest and forthright will have a backlash all by itself.  I hear some bells tolling.)

Trump then posted the full sanctions list by the US Treasury.  Rosneft and Lukoil subsidiaries  are targeted.

@realDonaldTrump

“Treasury Sanctions Major Russian Oil Companies, Calls on Moscow to Immediately Agree to Ceasefire”

This document states that these are all on the Russian energy sector.  We all know that the Russian SMO targeted the Ukrainian energy sector and in turn, Ukraine targeted the Russian energy sector.  Strange.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee has approved an initiative to designate Russia as a “state sponsor of terrorism,” said Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen.

Moscow had previously warned that adopting such measures would trigger severe retaliatory actions.

The committee also approved two other bills, including rules for using frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine and sanctions against China for supporting Russia’s defense industry.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Fire at the (Hungarian owned) MOL refinery in Bratislava — a major facility processing Russian oil. It’s the third refinery incident in just two days.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Ryabkov

Russia does not see the possibility of resuming information exchange under the New START treaty with the US, Ryabkov said.

We have suspended the treaty in its entirety, including every element of the treaty, whether inspections, demonstrations, or meetings of the consultative commission. Everything. This also includes information exchange

Calls for nuclear disarmament that ignore today’s military and political realities are completely unrealistic, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.

Key points from Ryabkov’s statements:

➡️If the U.S. rejects Russia’s proposal on the New START treaty, the nuclear threat will grow—but Russia will still guarantee its own security.

➡️Moscow’s proposal will only be viable if Washington shows genuine reciprocity.

➡️At present, there are no conditions for meaningful dialogue between Russia and the U.S. on non-proliferation.

➡️Russia must first be certain that the U.S. has truly abandoned the hostile policies of its previous administration.

➡️Moscow keeps the door open for political and diplomatic solutions on arms control.

➡️NATO’s aggressive course risks a direct clash between nuclear powers.

➡️The West should focus on finding negotiated solutions around Iran’s nuclear program—there is no sensible alternative.

➡️Russia will not be dragged into an expensive arms race.

I do not know if everyone is aware;   Supervised by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Russia’s Strategic Nuclear Forces held a training exercise involving their land, sea, and air components.  The exercise involved practice launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles and air-launched cruise missiles.  (Russia says this was a planned and routine exercise  🙂

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It was a rough night in Ukraine. Lights don’t turn on any longer in large parts. One never accepts one word from The Verkhovna Rada, but this deputy Goncharenko writes that last night’s Russian attack knocked out the entire energy infrastructure of Ukraine and accused the government of not having used the funds for the security of power and heating plants. He is not far from the actual situation.

The Russian MoD: In response to terrorist attacks launched by Ukraine against civilian objects on the territory of Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a massive strike with long-range, ground- and air-based high-precision weapons including Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles as well as attack unmanned aerial vehicles against energy infrastructure facilities that supported the Ukrainian defence industry.

✅ Targets of the strike were hit. All the objects were neutralised.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The U.S. carried out yet another strike on what it claimed was a “drug vessel” Tuesday night—this time in the Pacific waters off South America, according to U.S. officials.

It marks the eighth such U.S. attack on a boat since September 2. Two to three people aboard were reportedly killed. The previous seven strikes all targeted vessels in the Caribbean.

The source
of the rumors that the summit between Trump and Putin or the meeting between Lavrov and Rubio will not take place or is cancelled or other rumors. Maria Zakharova called this an “information farce”.  I found the source 🙂   Rubio stated that he and Lavrov had a good discussion, and a meeting is not necessary at the moment. Russian Special Presidential Envoy Kirill Dmitriev confirmed that preparations for the US-Russia summit in Budapest continue. You may remember that Trump called everybody and made arrangements with Viktor Orbán and front-ran this meeting with lots of circus.

Here is the culprit. It is Trump himself.

‘I don’t want to waste my time’ — Trump
The US president said he hadn’t made a determination on US-Russia summit in Budapest. He stated that he will announce his decision within 2 days. https://t.me/SputnikInt/93959

‘I don’t want to waste my time’ – what a spectacular insult to President Putin and Viktor Orbán who previously stated that he had appointed an organizing committee and was very excited that this meeting would take place in Budapest.

Farcical indeed!  I guess Trump is not as sorry for those many dead Ukies as he pretends to be.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Brazil: To the gringos, don’t you dare enter Venezuela! We will close ranks and we will be with you Venezuela. Brazil, Guatemala, Uruguay and all the people of Latin Amnerica, we will be with you, fighting! until the last navy sailor is in his grave in his imperial country,

I was a little worried if Brazil will stand up for Venezuela given that LULA did not agree to a BRICS membership. But, they are red hot! Here is LULA:

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Moscow is calling on the media not to participate in the “information farce” surrounding the potential meeting between top Russian diplomat Sergey Lavrov and his US counterpart Marco Rubio, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS.

Commenting on the Financial Times report that such a meeting could take place on October 30, the diplomat said: “Don’t take part in this informational farce. Sergey Lavrov pointed to a large number of such fakes earlier today. From my part, I can assure you that as soon as we have information to share, we will do so right away.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

A disturbing note from Pepe Escobar:

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IRAN UPDATE

There was supposed to be a very important conference in Tehran early next week on US-Iran relations. I was ready to go.

Over the weekend, we learned it has been canceled – by a very important government body. The reason: “War conditions”.

That ties in with the latest from a top IRGC source: “All the senior commanders are currently in bunkers in anticipation of war.”

So the “conditions” overall could not be more serious.

There’s got to be a direct connection with the letters that have been delivered IN PERSON between Tehran-Moscow over this past week.

In parallel, Press TV is re-studying when to start broadcasting and how to promote our documentary on the North-South Transportation Corridor – a global first. I’ll keep you all informed.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

In Hungary a fire and an explosion were reported at the MOL’s Szazhalombatta oil facility, while in Romania a blast happened at the Petrotel-Lukoil refinery in the town of Ploiesti, European Conservative states.

This comes as Budapest prepares to host a potential Putin-Trump summit

Litarally everyone suspects sabotage.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

A very important set of meetings for China: The fourth plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
There is so far very little information available in terms of what the plans are, but there are some excellent articles as to how they are set together, what they mean and what they intend to control.

This may be a splash of hopeful news for the near future. The selection and election for the next UN Attorney General has started. Latin America is calling dibs on the position and says it is its turn. We will see. Even the public can informally make their position clear. https://passblue.com/2025/10/18/vote-for-the-next-un-secretary-general/

Of the three candidates floated so far, my vote unreservedly goes to Michelle Bachelet, but we will see who else throws their hat into this gladiator ring.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

FM Lavrov: An immediate ceasefire in Ukraine would mean that most of the country would remain under Nazi rule. A truce now would only freeze the conflict.

The media campaign to convince everyone that the Lavrov and Rubio’s telephone conversation was cancelled or postponed is fake and propaganda. (They plant the story and then refute it themselves and this is considered news and it all becomes fodder for the news cycle where this media is losing relevance). This meeting has, in fact, happened. Sergey Lavrov stated that he was surprised by the information from American media suggesting that the summit between Russia and the U.S. might be postponed.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Dmitry Peskov:

🔹There is currently no understanding on the exact date of the Putin-Trump summit;

🔹The proposals ahead of a possible meeting between Putin and Trump cannot be voiced in a “megaphone” mode;

🔹The reports of Putin’s possible arrival in Budapest on the same plane as Trump is fantasy;

🔹It is premature to talk about the possible participation of EU leaders in Russia-US summit in Hungary, as the details of the meeting have not been yet discussed;

🔹The Russian military is closely monitoring and thoroughly analyzing plans and intentions of NATO exercises;

🔹Russia is taking appropriate measures to prepare its capabilities in light of NATO drills in the North Sea;

🔹European countries are now inciting Ukraine to continue the war;

🔹Europeans are currently not supporters of peace and are not contributing to a peaceful settlement.

Oct 20

Hungary’s FM just dropped a truth bomb in Brussels:

“A significant number of European politicians will do much, indeed everything possible, to ensure the Russia-US summit in Budapest does not take place at all.”

Because peace ends the grift.
Peace ends the proxy.
Peace ends the illusion of their power.

They don’t fear Putin.
They fear the end of war.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

What happened? Oh dear. Sometimes the truth drops with a bang to the tune of a chainsaw. Trump: ‘Argentina is fighting for its life. They have no money, they have no anything. They are dying.’

These comments came in response to reports of American banks planning a $20 to $40 billion loan to Argentina and the backlash from American farmers.

Argentina exists on a swap line from China.   Milei must go.  A good leftist must take over.  They must repudiate odious IMF debt.  But I guess the US wants to buy them just before that good leftist takes it.

Ben Norton:
Actually existing libertarianism: Argentina’s economy is in free fall under libertarian leader Javier Milei. The currency is collapsing, the bond market is in crisis, the huge bubble he inflated in the stock market has popped, and manufacturing output (ie, the real economy) has crashed.

Milei was already gifted a $42 billion lifeline from the US-controlled IMF and the World Bank (after Argentina already owed more debt to the IMF than any other country), but even that was not enough to stabilize Milei’s crazy Austrian School experiment.

So now the US government is pledging to bail out the proud self-declared “anarcho-capitalist” Milei by giving him even more money through US swap lines and buying Argentina’s bonds and currency with US Treasury funds.

The US government is doing this not only to prop up one of its most loyal puppets in Latin America, but also in order to benefit wealthy US investors who hold Argentine stocks and bonds, and US corporations that want Argentina’s lithium.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The LAC or rather South America has exploded. We have news in from Peru (riots), from Argentina (crashing economy and October 26 midterms), from Bolivia (elections), from Colombia (Trump is punishing them), Venezuela (militarily threatened). The US is putting small bases on Trinidad and Tobago and on another little island. Ya would think someone dusted off the Monroe Doctrine).

Afghanistan and Pakistan have a cessation of hostilities agreement .  Reportedly border crossings are opening.  Maria Zakharova told us who mediated.

Statement (https://mid.ru/en/foreign_policy/news/2054423/) by Russia’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the Afghan-Pakistani agreements (October 20, 2025)

💬 We welcome the agreement reached between Kabul and Islamabad – with the mediation of the authorities of Qatar and Türkiye – on a mutual ceasefire and cessation of hostilities along the Afghan-Pakistani border.

The commitment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to dialogue and to resolving differences by political and diplomatic means serves as the foundation for maintaining peace between these two countries, which are friendly to us, and as an important factor in ensuring regional security.

We call on Kabul and Islamabad to further expand their cooperation, including in the field of counterterrorism.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It must be a raging new fashion to shoot boats and ships.  The Lookout reports:

Boris suggests sinking the tankers of the shadow fleet.

He’s been nobody there for a long time. A blogger in the Daily Mail, a second (or third) rate newspaper. And besides the Ukrainians, no one else invites him anywhere anymore.

And of course, the term “shadow fleet” just means “not insured in London”. Which is to say, he advocates for sinking any ships that don’t use British insurance companies.

✨ A modern day version of Drake the pirate, at the service of the English crown and commercial interests.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

In the LAC, we’ve lost a country that was previously on the side and path of sovereignty.

Centrist Rodrigo Paz won Bolivia’s presidential runoff on Sunday with 54.5% of the vote, ending nearly two decades of leftist MAS rule. Both candidates immediately flew to Washington before the election, seeking IMF backing and pledging “stronger relations with the United States” after years of independence under Evo Morales.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio openly celebrated the election as a “transformative opportunity,” making clear who’s really calling the shots. Paz promised American companies would enter Bolivia to “guarantee fuel supplies” starting November 8. The country with the world’s largest lithium reserves is being reopened for business—on Washington’s terms. Bolivia’s labor unions have already warned they’ll resist any dismantling of social gains. The question remains: will this be genuine Bolivian sovereignty, or just another IMF debt trap disguised as “reform”?

On the Lithium reserves – it is in the context of Bolivia that Elon Musk stated a few years ago: ‘ We will coup whoever we want to coup’.  It has been a tumultuous number of years since then, but the coup is complete.  Ollie Vargas, our journalist friend there:  “My personal view is that this government will be overthrown before it serves its full term. Bolivia is too rebellious to accept neoliberal shock therapy, mass protests + a weak Paz government will open the door for the left to return if it can get its house in order (big if). ”  https://sovereignista.com/2025/10/20/ollie-vargas-from-revolution-to-ruin-how-bolivias-left-destroyed-itself-attrition-4-ft/

Peru’s Gen Z Uprising Meets Iron Fist

Peru’s brand new president José Jerí is refusing to resign after Gen Z-led protests turned deadly on Wednesday, leaving rapper Eduardo Ruiz dead from police gunfire and over 100 injured. Jerí, the country’s seventh president in less than a decade, took power just days ago after Congress ousted Dina Boluarte—herself one of the world’s most unpopular leaders.

The 38-year-old appointed an ultraconservative former judge as prime minister who previously called Peru’s Gen Z “a gang that wants to take democracy by storm.” A state of emergency has now been declared in Lima. Meanwhile, criticisms mount that Jerí previously faced rape allegations—dismissed by prosecutors but still under investigation. (This is a dead giveaway – they always try sexual allegations first).  This is Peru’s “democracy” .. a political class so discredited that protesters are learning tactics from TikTok because they trust no one in power.

FM Lavrov on Bashar al-Assad.   Rumors are flying:

“Former Syrian President Bashar Assad and his family are in Russia solely for humanitarian reasons, to keep out of harm’s way, and rumors of his poisoning in Russia are false, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists from Arab countries.

“Bashar Assad is here for humanitarian reasons. He and his family faced the threat of physical elimination,” Lavrov said. “We granted asylum to Bashar Assad and his family based purely on humanitarian grounds.”

Lavrov recalled the “fate of [former Libyan leader] Muammar Gaddafi, which delighted [ex-US Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton, who applauded while watching his physical elimination live.” “He [Assad] has no issues living in our capital. No poisoning has occurred. If such rumors emerge, let that rest on the conscience of those spreading them,” the foreign minister emphasized.”

The most important meeting of the decade in China begins today

Held every five years, the main purpose of this meeting is to determine Beijing’s strategic goals and policies for the next five years. This time it’s the 15th Five-year plan (2026-2030) for China’s national economic and social development.

It may be heating up more, Venezuela way.

Trump took punitive action against Colombia because the US shot a Colombian boat with civilians. He has more than one problem with Petro of Colombia. Of course Petro is telling truth about Zionist action in Gaza.   Ben Norton:  “Trump is a maniac. While waging war on Venezuela, he now threatens to attack Colombia too (although he can’t spell it correctly). Trump falsely claims Colombian President Petro is a “drug leader”. This is a total lie. Now he’s threatening sanctions and attacks. Imperial psycho.”

Our favorite Sony Thăng tells it as it is in this instance to a commentator who said Venezuela was rich under capitalism and now it is poor under socialism.

Take it away Sony!

You’re confusing exploitation with prosperity. Yes, under capitalism, Venezuela looked rich, but for whom? A handful of elites tied to U.S. oil firms and banks controlled the wealth, while millions lived in slums around the wells that made them nothing.

That wasn’t prosperity. That was colonial arithmetic: privatize the profits, socialize the poverty.

When Chávez took power, he didn’t inherit a paradise. He inherited a plantation. And the moment he redirected oil revenue toward housing, education, and healthcare, the same interests that once profited from Venezuela’s “success” called it a “failure.”

If socialism ruined Venezuela, why did Washington need 900 sanctions, asset seizures, and an oil embargo to finish the job? Why freeze over $20 billion in assets if the system was collapsing on its own?

The truth is simple.

Venezuela’s fall wasn’t economic mismanagement; it was economic punishment.

A message to every nation that dares to put its people before its creditors.

So when you say it “failed under socialism,” remember this:

It didn’t fail because it was socialist. It was punished because it stopped being colonial.

Notes out of the Alliance of the Sahel States, just because so many of us watch the moves there:

BURKINA FASO will now track all NGO funds by requiring organizations to open accounts at the National Bank of Treasury Deposits.  (This may help for the GenZ protests – Burkina may be expecting them).

NIGER is building a new oil refinery that will produce 100,000 barrels of fuel per day to supply the entire Sahel region.

Ziionist-israel is bombing Gaza again as I warned yesterday.  The pretext for this was published at the US State Dept. some hours ago.  The War and Genocide thread has details. Zionist Channel 12: Raids on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip is an attempt to protect Yasser Abu Shab’s militias. Yes, zionist-israel positioned militias and spies, because the murder regime is not interested in a cease-fire and are addicted to bloodshed.  Hamas is taking out the spies, zionist moles and zionist collaborators.  Rough and jungle justice for getting Palestinians killed by cooperating with the IDF.

I would like to post a short excerpt which I summarized, from Michael Hudson a few weeks ago:

… Trump and the deep state have already decided on nuclear war.

… we described all the economic reasons why Trump is desperate: to maintain the U.S. and NATO control of the world — and it’s all backfiring. Trump, and the U.S., is saying: How are we going to lock in our control?

… Europe and Ukraine — they’re going to say: We’re going to keep upping the scale, until you won’t have any choice but to resist.

… the Russian population, the nationalistic wing — are saying: We’ve got to respond because, at some point, we’re going to have to respond. And we might as well respond earlier, instead of later, after they’ve blown up more of our refineries and more of our energy production.

…  the army believes, and Trump believes, that if they can tie up Russia in Ukraine, then Russia will be unable to help Iran, which is going to result in conflagration of the Near East.

… America is trying to lock in its position: oil and the dollar.   Trump and his advisors must know that none of these are going to work.

… Trump has his own agenda: his narcissistic drive to make himself famous. He can be the man who blew up civilization! That’s more important than Jesus, more important than Moses. All he has to do is start an atomic war, and when the dust settles, and evolution starts all over again, the surviving humanity — wherever it is — is going to write a history and say: How did all this begin? How did the world blow up? And they’ll say, somebody named “Donald Trump.”

… That’s his dream. A narcissist cannot resist the temptation to be the most important famous person in all of history. And who’s to stop him? Historians are going to marvel at how he’s been able to rule with such an iron hand.

… Trump’s desire to be a Roman [emperor], like Caligula. Caligula got famous for having such control over the Senate that he nominated his horse, Incitatus, to be a senator. … He’s appointed a whole stable of cabinet ministers, and the people who are running the country, which are the human equivalent of Caligula’s horse.

There’s nothing that the United States can do to reverse the loss, the fact that the U.S. century — let’s say, 1925 to 2025 — is over, and the West’s dominance is over. The reaction of Trump is not only chaos, but ‘just bring the whole thing down.’

I only have one bone of contention with Michael’s theory – many of Goldfinger’s cabinet appointments are far less suitable for high office than Incitatus.

In Latin, “incitatus” means “swift” or “at full gallop.” It is derived from the verb “incitō,” which means to incite or hasten. Goldfinger was installed as a wrecking ball … thus not one, but a stable, full of Incitatus’. He just gave Americans a literal “finger” by taking a ‘wrecking… Read more »

Okay, now this just crossed my mind two days later:
I have seen such “revenge fantasy” also expressed in online videos from Shen Yi and a few tweets I found from Zhao Dashuai. I take it they also don’t have (much) influence either, do they?

PS
I would’ve also asked whether the CPC had any unanimous position on the matter (particularly when interspersed with terms such as “blood debt”) or if it varies by member.
