The Polish armed forces said they found no proof of an alleged September 13 airspace breach that prompted fighter jets to scramble.

Operational Command noted that all available systems were used to verify radar indications of a possible intrusion, but no violation was confirmed. Officials suggested the signals may have been linked to weather conditions, pointing to a similar incident a day earlier in Romania.

On Saturday, the command explained that jets were scrambled in response to drone activity near Ukraine’s border, with Poland’s air defense placed on high alert before returning to normal several hours later.

The most important sentence in the New York Declaration is: 1. We, Leaders and Representatives, gathered at the United Nations in New York on 28-30 July 2025, at a historically critical moment for peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.

2. We agreed to take collective action to end the war in Gaza, to achieve a just, peaceful and lasting settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the effective implementation of the two-State solution, and to build a better future for Palestinians, Israelis and all peoples of the region.

This may spell out the actions over the next week or so. There was an interesting Security Council meeting in which the delegates told the Zionist-Israeli delegate that Israel is not paying attention.

Mr Lavrov is having a series of meetings with the heads of delegations of the GCC Member-States.  This is the 8th round of the Russia–Gulf Cooperation Council Strategic Dialogue at the level of Foreign Ministers. The issue of Israel’s attack on Qatar is being discussed, of course, but mainly bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues.

Two comments from the Chinese Foreign Ministry on the Qatar attack yesterday are relevant:

China-Arab TV: On September 9, Israel attacked Qatar’s capital Doha. The attack targeted the Hamas leadership. What is China’s response?

Lin Jian: China strongly condemns the attack yesterday in Doha, Qatar and firmly opposes Israel’s violation of Qatar’s territorial integrity and national security. We are deeply concerned that the attack could lead to further escalation in the region and disapprove of the actions taken by relevant parties to deliberately jeopardize Gaza ceasefire talks. Use of force will not bring peace to the Middle East. Dialogue and negotiation is the fundamental way out. It will soon be two years since the conflict broke out in Gaza. The 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (#UNGA80 🇺🇳) will open on September 9, 2025, in New York. The Russian delegation at the High-Level Week (September 23-29, 2025) will be led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The UNGA session will convene amid growing global turbulence, conflicts and crises on the global political and economic stage. The main cause of these negative developments is the striving of the collective West to hold onto elusive global dominance through dirty methods, such as illegal unilateral sanctions, restricted access to new technologies, exploitation of other countries’ resources, and sometimes even open military interventions.

🌐 The rise of a more just and democratic multipolar world is an objective process. It cannot be turned back because the centre of gravity in international affairs is shifting towards the Global South and East. New pillars of political, economic, social and cultural influence are taking shape in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and they are demonstrating a desire to increase their contribution to dealing with global challenges <…>

Russia firmly upholds the UN’s central coordinating role in global affairs. Due to its universal legitimacy and broad competence, the UN is the only intergovernmental structure capable of ensuring a maximally painless transition to multipolarity.

At the same time, we have to state that the UN has seen better times. The world is becoming increasingly vocal about the UN being engulfed in problems and no longer able to fulfil the tasks set out in its mandate. There are grounds for this criticism. However, it should be stated that the UN’s current problems and ills are not rooted in its structural drawbacks but in the insatiable desire of the West to make it serve Western interests according to the “rules” which the West alone defines. I always point out that they actually have only one “rule,” which says that they are the primary actor whose actions may not be judged, and that everything the other countries do must be made subordinate to the interests of the collective West.

It is extremely important in this context that all states unambiguously and unconditionally reaffirm their commitment to the goals and principles of the UN Charter in their entirety and as a whole. The West has been known to use certain provisions of the UN Charter in their interests. But there are very many provisions in that document, and all of them must be cited, applied and acted upon in their entirety.

This would be a major prerequisite for the full-scale restoration of the UN’s authority and effectiveness. The Group of Friends in Defence of the UN Charter is at the forefront of these efforts. The group has become a key instrument for making the voice of the Global Majority heard, for fighting against Western directives and building a just polycentric world.

The nexus – We stand at a crossroads.

It is good that the announcement of our latest Department of War with its own Secretary of War is out in the open. Bear in mind, this trajectory talks about +- 20% of the world’s population. The clarity here stands in stark opposition to the SCO summit, where the focus was on developing peacefully.

Michael Hudson describes two dynamics. One of defense of countries and economies, and one of a problem stated bluntly: “…  Americans want to blow up the world if they can’t control it and dominate all other countries.”

The line that is crossed is the emergence of a consensus that not only tolerates violence but fully embraces it, a fascist ideology centered on physical threats and homicidal intent to all who oppose it.

In Gaza, and the region as a whole, the human sacrifice continues, pitting humanity against humanity.  The military build-up to possibly invade Venezuela is in full swing.   The African wars are continuing and the Russian SMO is still effectively and consistently winning against NATO.

Fascism is now defined as Maximum Lethality, not tepid Legality.

The big debate currently is whether the US policy has moved from deterring China to focusing on what they call ‘their hemisphere?  No, not really.  As they defocus on Russia as an adversary temporarily, they are temporarily defocusing on China and first intent is on picking the low-hanging fruit.  What is clear is that the weaker states and countries are fluttering from one pole to another pole like demented mosquitoes.

We are outside of the spectrum of a legal baseline. We are in an event-driven scenario. It is now a race to the finish and the questions and criteria are stark as well:  “What will come first, a new big war, more regional wars or a western economic crash?”

I wonder who is more nervous?

The Military Summary Channel has been around since the Russia SMO started. I remember well.  Initially, it was a little cludgy (as everybody tried to find their feet). He has now become almost an expert at daily sitreps, and we miss those. Mr P regularly posts his work in the Hearty Salon. Lots of excitement in this one!

Today, September 7, 2025, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a massive strike with precision weapons and strike unmanned aerial vehicles on production, assembly, repair, storage, and launch facilities of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as military airbases in the central, southern, and eastern parts of Ukraine, including the industrial enterprise “Kiev-67” on the western outskirts of Kiev and the logistics base “STS-GROUP” on the southern outskirts of Kiev.

The strike objectives were achieved, all designated targets were hit. No strikes were carried out on other targets within the borders of Kiev.

I mentioned a week or two ago that there is much hasbara incoming from the Zionist side. Microsoft reported that some of its connectivity cables in the Red Sea were damaged, which made for an ideal accusation against Ansarallah. No proof, just an accusation. This formed the bedrock for a business deal: Israel has given 45 million euros to Google and X for online propaganda for six months of online activity. They are aiming for media, younger populations, and the objective is to deny genocide again and deny the famine.

The level of propaganda is already reaching significant proportions. AnsarAllah (it’s a Houthi thing!) is escalating. As soon as they shoot something, the Zionist media go into overdrive, and as one, report: Intercepted! But wait a day or two, and then you see the results, very quietly slipped in somewhere. “Al-Masirah: Zionist military admits failure to intercept drone that made impact in Ramon airport .” So the Yemeni drone took out most of the airport, and it is not in service. This is how it happens. The Houthis are making progress, sending Zionists to shelters and shooting at their airports and ports, and slowly increasing the number of attacks. If the zionists shout ‘intercepted’, wait a while for the truth to surface. It has become an amusing pastime for me to keep an eye on this media. This morning: “Two rockets fired from Gaza at southern Israel this morning. One intercepted, one fell in an open area.” A little while later: ” A Houthi explosive drone crashed into Ramon Airport near Eilat about an hour ago. The IDF intercepted three additional Houthi drones.”  And yet a little bit later:  “Israeli ambulance service: The number of injured due to a drone attack from Yemen on Ramon Airport rises to 8”.   The Houthis will tell us in a while exactly how many drones they flew.
