The White House says this decision puts ‘America’s interests first’

It also underscores the loss on the military level as well as a significant loss on the diplomatic level.   One is not sure though if other war materiel will still be delivered as these people need to be checked coming and going.

We are having a quiet day at GlobalSouth.co today.  I just realized that from June 13, when Israel attacked Iran, we’ve posted 100 articles, not counting the ones from AHH in the Hearty Salon.  Adding those, we’re hitting +- 150 submissions. This does not include the Daily Chronicles updates and the War & Genocide thread updates.

What a dramatic and world-changing two weeks.

Today is a quiet news day in terms of anything serious, and a little preparation is needed to pick up on BRICS.

Has Serbia turned a corner?:  Serbian President: “There Will Be More Color Revolution Attempts — But Serbia Has Won”

The President of Serbia declared that while further attempts at a color revolution are expected, Serbia has already prevailed. He expressed gratitude to Russian leaders who understood the nature of the unrest from the very beginning — especially Vladimir Putin and Sergey Lavrov.

“When I spoke with President Putin and Lavrov, they knew exactly what this was — a color revolution. I thank our Russian friends for recognizing it. I thank Sergey Lavrov for understanding it so clearly, and I thank the few objective Russian analysts who saw that Vučić is not easily broken. I’m not the kind of man who will flee Serbia. I will fight for the country’s freedom and will never abandon it to the worst forces.”

Lavrov, earlier today, issued a warning to the West not to interfere in Serbia’s internal affairs.

Russian Defence Ministry on progress of special military operation as of 29 June 2025

💥 At night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a mass strike by air-, ground-, and sea-based long-range precision weaponry, the Kindzhal hypersonic aero-ballistic missile system as well as unmanned aerial vehicles at Ukrainian defence industry and oil-refining enterprises.

✅ The goal of the strike was achieved. All the assigned targets were engaged.

Some more detailed information on this strike came in.

The Russian army carried out a combined attack with more than 40 missiles and 450 UAVs on targets in Ukraine. The industrial enterprises in Zaporozhye and Kremenchuk were hit hard. Infrastructure in Lviv, Mykolaiv, and Cherkasy was also targeted. The X-101/X-55 cruise missiles, Kalibr, Kinzhals, and Iskanders were used.

Even the Poles were tense — the country was raising its fighter jets and putting its air defense system on high alert.

During the massive attack, the Ukraine lost a pilot of the scarce F-16. The enemy reported the elimination of Lieutenant Colonel Maxim Ustimenko, writing that during attempts to shoot down Russian ammunition, his plane “received damage and began to lose altitude.”

It’s likely the F-16 he was piloting was also lost.

Three UAVs were destroyed over the Russian regions overnight.

The contrast is now very great between what Russia and Ukraine are now capable of, showing how delusional the recent UK media propaganda about how well Ukraine is doing with its drones is.

An Irish band, Kneecap, performed at Glastonbury music festival but their set was not aired by the BBC. Reason: in previous concerts, “Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people” was displayed on screens and the group led crowds in chants of “Free, free Palestine.” Apparently a small hot war from the Government, the Cops and the Jewish organizations against the musicians was unleased. But today after they played their set that was not aired, the next band came on and Bob Vylan started with a rythmic chant: “Death Death To The IDF” & From the River to the Sea, Palestine shall be Free!” https://t.me/mintpress_news/9980

Israeli court rejects Netanyahu’s attempt to cancel testimony

The court has rejected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request to cancel his upcoming testimony in the corruption trial, which resumes Monday. “The request to postpone the hearing, in its current form, does not present a foundation or detailed reasoning that could justify canceling evidentiary hearings,” the judges said. They added: “According to the standard set in the directives of the Supreme Court President … with the expiration of the declaration of emergency in the courts, the request is rejected.”

Israeli war Minister Israel Katz says he has instructed the IOF to implement the “Lebanon model” in Iran. Where even after the ceasefire, the IOF will continue striking targets it sees as potential threats. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has directed the IDF to prepare a plan to maintain air superiority over Iran, disrupt its nuclear and ballistic missile programs, and counter what he called Iran’s support for terrorism against Israel. Katz added that the IDF will act regularly to enforce these objectives.

This is a concern. Israel did not miss a beat and simply turned and started attacking Lebanon and parts of Syria again. In Gaza and the West Bank,they never stopped creating killing fields.

Everyone is still celebrating the Iranian victory (and it is a victory) but we have to get our arms around the slippery slope just after the war came to an end. It is not at an end, it is only paused.
