Aha, the Treaty: Smoothie publishes the scoop and we’ve all heard the rumors: The North Koreans helped in Kursk.

North Korea has shown a high level of solidarity with Russia by deploying its forces to help Moscow repel the Ukrainian incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said. The long-rumored presence of North Korean forces in the area was officially confirmed earlier in the day during a televised meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the country’s chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov. North Korean forces were deployed into the area under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Moscow and Pyongyang, which came into force last December. Yesterday was a day of talking in the sphere. Most talking came from the US with the Trump Boyz in fine fettle, reporting they’ve taken out the Houthi leadership, they’re going to walk out of the ‘peace negotiations’ if somebody does not do something for them. Trump caved to a large extent on tariffs vis a vis China and reduced the tariffs as a magnanimous gesture which did not impress anyone, least of all the Chinese. He is off to the Pope’s funeral where I am sure he was angling to meet with those that refuse to call him. But the most egregious was his rolling stream of consciousness with his press corps.

So, Trump announced that negotiations with China started. (True, he did. I listened to the clip). What a shame! How long before the Chinese call statements like that by the real name.
