Easter truce between Russia and Ukraine announced by Moscow expires – 30 hours is over.  As Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on April 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin has not ordered an extension.

The US is tired of the Ukraine conflict, says Trump’s Ukraine envoy Kellogg. The Russian MoD confirms overnight Ukraine violations of the Easter truce.

In accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, all the Groups of Forces deployed in the special military operation zone have been strictly observing the state of ceasefire since 18:00 of 19 April remaining in previously taken positions.

❗️ At night, despite the announcement of the Easter ceasefire, formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to launch attacks against positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation near Sukhaya Balka and Bogatyr (Donetsk People’s Republic). The attacks were repelled.

▪️ What is more, during the night, the enemy launched 48 fixed-wing UAVs, including one over Crimea. Ukrainian troops hit Russian positions with guns and mortars 444 times, carried out 900 quadcopter-type drone strikes, and dropped ammunition on border areas of Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions (12 fire attacks, 33 UAV strikes, and seven ammunition drops). As a result, enemy attacks caused deaths and injuries among the civilian population. The AFU damaged civilian facilities.

They will not send parcels to the US any longer.  “After Donald Trump scrapped the $800 duty-free limit for imports from Hong Kong, jacking up tariffs to as high as 120%, the city’s government fired back.  Hong Kong’s post-service halted package deliveries to and from the US starting April 27, sparing only letters and documents.”  Whatever is in process now will be returned to the Sender.  They said that they would not collect US Tariffs for them.

Xi Jinping is now in Malaysia on his 3-country state visit.   China is scooping up any business and trade that gets lost in the chaos.  Remember the US is no longer the biggest trading partner of the US.  (Unfortunately the US is blind to organizations like ASEAN and they think BRICS is dead).  ASEAN is the biggest trading partner.  I never like to call a war over before it is over, but this US war is lost because 1.4 billion Chinese are standing together and now doing personal marketing, manufacturing direct, on their TikToks, undermining the US middle tier.

South Korea and Vietnam pledged close cooperation. Vietnam’s foreign ministry said the two countries are seeking to raise bilateral trade to $150 billion by 2030, in a “more balanced and sustainable manner”.

The Trump strategy will be Art of the Deal, which is basic big sales training.  He will try and convince the 70 or 9754 (no, it is not a typo), countries that are supposedly begging the US for tariff relief to stand with the US and he will give them tariff relief – create the problem and then use that very same problem to coerce.

Beijing is halting further jet deliveries so, no more buying Boeing for China and no more US made aircraft parts. Previously placed orders are being cancelled. Boeing shares fell. China has a locally made aircraft made by COMAC and called C919. Trump Envoy Witkoff confirmed that Trump is no longer seeking the “full denuclearization” of Iran or the “dismantling of its nuclear program.” He stated that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons, stressing the need for diplomacy to cap uranium enrichment at 3.67%. The war against Yemen and in the region in general is expanding.

The UAE deployed the ELM-2084 radar with a range of 480 kilometers at a naval base in Somalia’s Puntland region, probably for counterintelligence operations by Israeli special forces against Houthi-led Yemen.

The UAE armed forces at Bosaso Air Base were also equipped with an upgraded early warning system for missiles and drones in case of a surprise attack by the Houthi-led Yemeni forces.
