A small prayer as in about 3 hours a SpaceX spacecraft launches to bring the two stranded US astronauts back to earth.    They were there initially for 10 days, and it is now 9 months that they have been stranded.

UPDATE:  SpaceX has canceled the launch of the reusable Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-10 mission, which includes Russian state space corporation Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, less than an hour before the liftoff, the American space technology company says.

First, a comment on the Telegram channels. They are posting quotes from prior to the US-Ukraine meeting, as if these quotes are current now and have been made now, since the meeting. The alternative media is as guilty of losing the context of the reporting as the msm – the Streisand Effect in full swing. We will all know when Russia comments and the content.

Yes, Peskov is boring and he can spin with the rest of them, but he is accurate in terms of what is formally real, or not. He carefully manages expectations.

These US – Ukraine negotiations are made up of deceit, pressure, and threat. Or are they into ‘the deal’ and simply lowballing? If so, they are stupid. If they are doing a maneuver in order to say ..Russia doesn’t want peace, then it shows the powerlessness of the US. The US is still in a proxy war with Russia, and they confirmed it by unblocking military and ISR assistance to the Ukraine (if the intelligence was really cut off, which is dubious at this stage). A meeting between Ukrainian and American delegations is starting in Saudi Arabia.

The objectives are continually shifting.  First, it was to sign a minerals deal and talk about peace. Now, the minerals deal is not important, and the American delegation only wants to find out how serious Zelenski is about peace.

The Top US diplomat Rubio has just landed in Saudi Arabia to meet with Ukrainian officials and the media as well as the Trump administration top level wants to find out if Ukraine is ready to make concessions to end the conflict

Yesterday, Sunday, was a day where the news reporting cycle acted as if it was not Sunday. AHH and I both expected a relatively quiet day, but it was a tsunami. Much of it was to be ignored. Let us again call Israel, Netanyahu and his parliament and cabinet an outright mass killing machine in the process of increasing their genocide.

Syria – it is difficult to find the reality. It is clear that the reality is brutal against civilians. “Al-Akhbar reports that the Syrian coast (an SAA stronghold) is rapidly sliding into a bloody civil war, amid violations committed by members of the HTS-“General Security” forces and swift attacks carried out by resistance armed groups against them.”

Why now? Here are the reasons: 1) Relative peace in Syria could not hold because headchoppers do not make professional and productive leaders, 2) Israel wants to carve it out and probably Turkiye as well and it gets complex but the main reason is that most probably 3) the new perpetual war replay has started. We will see over the next weeks. There is the fact that the regional resistance is rising once again.

100s of civilians are seeking refuge in the Russian air base of Khmeimim near Tartous. This is the only place of safety from the murderous hordes of the Jewlani Al Quaeda dictatorship that is going door to door and summarily executing the inhabitants of coastal Syria for the simple reason that they are Alawites, or a different flavor of Islam, or Christian. The sectarian overlay to the killings uses religion as their pretext. Yet, when it was only Gaza, the various flavors worked together. Of course, the Powers that Be cannot allow such a unity to continue as it deprives them of their pretext.

Donald Trump’s reported threat to expand sanctions on Russia if it does not halt attacks on Ukraine is empty and meaningless. As you will see in the following videos, I am currently in Moscow and participating in some public diplomacy seminars. What I have gleaned as a result of conversations with some well-informed Russian analysts is that the era of the United States being able to bully or coerce Russia is over. Donald Trump now confronts a Russia, with a government, an economy and a military, that does not need a single thing from the United States beyond mutual respect. The Russian people are prepared to live a comfortable, productive life without having to deal with the United States. That is a truth that Donald Trump needs to grasp.  There are however other countries that could still be coerced and bullied.

This is part of the reason I say the world is going to stop selling to or trading with the US.
