Forgive me for not believing a word. UNRWA is made up of voluntary contributions. This is what Russia and China and the other UNSC members will have to work with. Do they find these women in test tubes? We will be a little quiet on GlobalSouth.co, as so many things are happening everywhere and it needs to take a form and substance. Many pundits are speaking, but there to my knowledge is nothing much that is real. There are very few people that can look at the world in its magnificent whole, and draw out the substance of the chaos.

1. We are now probably looking at a financial insinking of a very large part of the world.
2. While the US is trying to find its way back (first among equals scenario) the resistence is fiercely resisting because of a lack of trust.
3. Israel is still driving its killing machine, with support from its enablers. It seems as if the swaps this morning went along without too many hitches, and for that we can be thankful.
Countries everywhere are in travail. Tomorrow we have the German elections and there are already riots in the streets.
4. BRICS countries are feeling the pressure. China is calm. Russia on the other hand has decisions to make. Putin says they will do their manufacturing and production and agriculture by themselves, but other leaders are saying yes .. allow the American companies back into Russia.

These few comments are but a glimmer in terms of what is happening in the world. It is a result of moving from a single polar world to multipolarity. Everyone is out there to see what they can gain. Ukraine is now a fight about who gets what. Please comment as much as you like under the normal rules .. don’t insult our authors, don’t insult one another. I’m taking time to think through the current level of chaos – chaos yes! and it will remain until the collective west loses their stupidity or until they are finally made to go back to their countries and fix themselves.

A very large gathering of people, mourners, journalists, and activists are converging on Beirut for the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the assassinated leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement which is set for Sunday at 1:00 PM local time. More than 400,000 citizens from Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat, and delegations from all over the world have arrived in Beirut to participate in the funeral. Reservations in the capital’s hotels have exceeded 90%. Flights from Iran were prohibited.

Nearly 800 international elite personalities from 65 countries have arrived to attend the funeral of the Sayyids of Hezbollah.

Thomas Sankara (1949-87), the great revolutionary leader of Burkina Faso who was assassinated, once famously stated, ‘Where is imperialism? Look at your plates when you eat. The imported rice, maize and millet; that is imperialism.’

Today, President Ibrahim Traoré is following in Sankara’s footsteps by placing food sovereignty at the forefront of national development after helping oust a Western-aligned leader in 2022.

We are gearing up for another exchange in Israel – Gaza tomorrow. We can only hope for the best.

Israel will release 602 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 6 Israeli captives on Saturday’s handover. Hamas has said that out of those 602 prisoners, 50 of those were serving life sentences, 60 handed long-term sentences, 445 arrested in Gaza during the war, whilst the remainder re-arrested after being released in a previous swap in 2011.

Israeli warplanes have dropped leaflets over Gaza, warning Palestinians that they will be erased from existence if they do not comply with Israel’s demands to leave the territory. The leaflets, which feature images of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump, claim that the world “will not care if Gaza disappears” and that Trump’s displacement plan “will be enforced whether you accept it or not.” The messages further taunt Palestinians, stating that “even your Arab countries, which are now our allies, provide us with money and weapons while sending you only shrouds.” In a final attempt to coerce civilians, the leaflets offer aid in exchange for cooperation with Israeli forces.

The threats follow a recent warning from Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which revealed that Israel has been using drones to terrorise Palestinians with recorded messages of impending mass displacement. One message chillingly states, “If you do not wake up from slumber, they will bring a second and third Nakba upon you,” followed by the sound of an ambulance siren. The genocidal campaign against Gaza has already killed over 48,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and despite failing to achieve its military goals, Israel was forced to accept the conditions for a ceasefire set by Palestinian resistance factions.

The Gaza Strip enjoys a wonderful location, and I wonder why Israel gave it up.  The United States will own Gaza according to my plan, there will be no Hamas, and we will start developing it.  ‘It’s leveled now, not livable, if you gave the people a choice between that and living in a nice community, I think I know where they’d go’. – My plan for Gaza is good, but I am not imposing it. I will only recommend it. I was surprised that Jordan and Egypt did not welcome the plan, and we provide them with billions of dollars annually.

Venezuela has secured the release of all of their migrants that were being held by the US in Guantanamo Bay. 177 Venezuelan nationals arrived in Caracas a few hours ago, and US authorities have confirmed there are no longer any Venezuelan migrants in Guantanamo Bay anymore. The terms of the deal have not been revealed by either side, but both have confirmed the arrival of 177 deported migrants from Guantanamo to their home country. Venezuelan Interior Minister, Diosdado Cabello, stated that most do not have a criminal background, and that anyone with an open criminal case will have it heard in local courts.

Donald Trump had begun deporting migrants to the Guantanamo Bay torture camp, claiming that they were all hardened criminals. However, US courts revealed that in some cases there was no evidence of criminal ties and blocked the deportation of numerous Venezuelan migrants to Guantanamo.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have handed over the bodies of four dead Israeli hostages to the Red Cross. The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed the Red Cross received the deceased hostages, and they are being transferred to the IDF forces in the Palestinian enclave.

Resistance factions in Gaza have raised a banner at the captive exchange site reading: “The war criminal Netanyahu and his Nazi army killed them with missiles from Zionist warplanes.”

The victorious Palestinian resistance is set to mark the largest phase of the prisoner exchange deal this Saturday, securing the release of approximately 800 prisoners, including:

🔹 445 detainees from Gaza imprisoned during the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.
🔹 51 serving life sentences.
🔹 59 with high sentences.
🔹 47 prisoners rearrested after being released in the Shalit deal.
🔹 200 women and children arrested during the war on Gaza, in exchange for the resistance handing over Zionist bodies.

The deal will also secure the release of several senior Al-Qassam Brigades commanders in the West Bank, most notably:
→ Abdel Nasser Issa
→ Othman Bilal
→ Ammar Al-Zaben
→ Along with other key figures.

Additionally, the deal includes the release of the longest-held Palestinian prisoners:
→ Nael Barghouti (44 years)
→ Alaa Al-Bazian (42 years)
→ Samer Al-Mahroom (38 years) in “Israeli” prisons.

• This exchange adds to the previous six rounds, which have already resulted in the release of 1,135 Palestinians.

Short notes on the start of negotiations with follow-up once the formal read-outs are available.

Mr Lavrov got his way.  The parties intend to “work on normalizing diplomatic relations,” but “one meeting is not enough to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.”  The Russian / American ambassadorial staff will be reconstituted – Moscow and Washington offices first and a request was made from the US side for clearance of a possible US ambassador.

The US will appoint negotiators and Russia will immediately appoint their own, and consultations will begin.

There is no date for a Putin / Trump meeting.

As I said, reality starts now.  Rubio says:  Work to end the conflict in Ukraine will require “complex and intense diplomacy” over a long period, said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.  (Then, he has to take something home).  Ending the conflict in Ukraine will require concessions from all sides, Rubio added.

This was essentially a meeting to organize further communication channels, reconstruct the old ones, and organize a set of negotiations.  All of the pundits who knew precisely what was happening, and furiously analized all the ‘negotiators’ and had much to say up to full knowledge of the outcome, jumped the gun.  We have to stay with the formal announcements and with only high-level commentators.

Peru’s Chancay port processed over $290 million of goods in its first three months of operation—engineering machinery, corn, solar panels, and automobiles. Other exports, including blueberries, avocado, palm oil, and grapes, amount to over $139 million, per data released by local authorities on Monday.
