Syria: What do we know

Let’s jump right in …

We know that a perfect opportune moment was unerringly exploited by the zionist/imperialist/nazi cabal to create more chaos and more lies, more theft and more plunder.
We know that an unprecedented and massive Mighty Wurlitzer Style (Mighty Wurlitzer, aka How the CIA played America) information campaign was launched at the same time, and it is in full swing pumping out the psyops.

We know that many of our fellow resistance is falling for this campaign, some knowingly, some unknowingly.

We know that Syria will change. Give me a moment before you react. Wars of this nature invariably change those that the war is perpetrated upon. Russia changed and became more Russian. The jury is out as far as Syria is concerned. It is early days. Kevork Almassian comments on how the Syrians are not skilled at keeping their civilians up to date. They are not a local data driven community, but use Facebook.

We know and I must have said it 100 times, that the enemy is not stupid. They are past masters at deceiving humans. They have thinktanks and universities fully focused on this exact skill.

One form that this takes in Syria is that the Facebookers (and that is how the community interacts) are receiving push notifications from the Qatari media sources, telling them how miserably they are losing and how the headchoppers are winning. This is devastating.

Sleeper cells linked to terrorist organizations have been actively disseminating fabricated video clips via their media channels. These videos, purportedly taken in public squares and streets in the Damascus countryside and other governorates, falsely claim that terrorists have taken control of these areas. This disinformation aims to create chaos and instill fear among citizens.

Deputy Governor of Rif Dimashq, Jassem Al-Mahmoud stated that Contrary to circulating rumors, there has been no withdrawal of Syrian Arab Army units from key towns and villages in Rif Dimashq, including Jdeidet Artouz, Daraya, Moadamiyeh, and Jaramana. While some areas are undergoing force regrouping and redistribution, no significant withdrawals have occurred.

• Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Abdul Ghani announced that the centers of the Daraa, Sweida, and Quneitra governorates have been fully combed and secured. These regions are now entirely free of criminal regime forces.
• Syrian forces have successfully entered critical areas, including the 26th Division headquarters, the town of Al-Mashrafah, and 13 additional villages and towns on the outskirts of Homs.

Governor of Homs Statement confirmed:

Reports claiming that terrorists have entered the city of Homs are unsubstantiated. The governor confirmed ongoing battles between Syrian armed forces and intruders near the city. All government officials and cadres remain present and prepared to defend Homs.

Since the Astana meeting this morning, we know that Mr Lavrov said that Russia will support Syria. But he also said that there is another movement, a political opposition in Syria (not the headchoppers) that must be brought into the conversation for political dialogue.

We know that the Iranian FM, Abbas Araghchi urges “political dialogue” between the Syrian government and the legitimate opposition groups” should begin.  We do NOT know how these Foreign Ministers propose to start.

We know that the status on the ground in Syria is hidden. SANA regularly links to the formal defense notices, but none of these work. And one cannot really find them easily. The latest:

A statement issued by the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces:

• Our people have been facing, for several days, especially since this morning, a systematic media and terrorist war aimed at undermining the security of the nation and its citizens, spreading chaos and fear, in line with an aggressive agenda.

• The media platforms affiliated with the terrorists have not ceased spreading misleading videos and false information about the events taking place across Syrian territory.

• Our valiant army continues to carry out high-intensity, targeted operations against terrorist groups in the directions of the rural areas of Hama, Homs, and northern Daraa, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists, with hundreds killed and wounded, as well as the destruction of dozens of vehicles, equipment, and numerous headquarters, warehouses, weapons, and ammunition.

We know that if you are in an area where your ships can be hit, you move, you don’t sit as a sitting duck in a harbor.  We also know that the Russian missiles are devastating.  We know that Russian ships left the harbor of Tartus and the media is full of reports that Russia is withdrawing.   We also know that Mr Lavrov said this morning that the Russian ships are in the Mediterranean seas exactly where they should be and where in the previous few days, they shot live ammunition and missiles.   But if you believe the media, Russia has just withdrawn from Syria, Mr Assad has left with his family and the poor Syrians are left to the headchoppers with no leadership.

To the contrary, 2,500 headchoppers have been killed plus their vehicles and accoutrements that they rode in on.

We know that Syria does not have the ability to cut loose pro videos on the turn.  But headchoppers run into areas, pose for videos and then announce that they have taken the city or village.  The suggestion is that US soldiers in the area brought in Starlink for this purpose of information warfare.

It is just the same as the Ukrainians who pose and pretend victory.

I am looking at current videos from Damascus and Hama and while there are sleeper cells, these cities have not fallen.  We know that joint Syrian-Russian warplanes have and are in the process of carrying out several raids on terrorist gatherings in Hama city.

While we do not know how Russia is going to play it and we have no idea how Iran is going to play it, we know that Russia is still active with their airforces.  We also know that Russia does not want to lose its warm water Mediterranean port, and neither its two air facilities.

We also know that Damascus airport is open and active.

And he is quoting the Real Donald Trump who does not know what he is saying:

Opposition fighters in Syria, in an unprecedented move, have totally taken over numerous cities, in a highly coordinated offensive, and are now on the outskirts of Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move toward taking out Assad. Russia, because they are so tied up in Ukraine, and with the loss there of over 600,000 soldiers, seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years. This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the RED LINE IN THE SAND, and all hell broke out, with Russia stepping in. But now they are, like possibly Assad himself, being forced out, and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them. There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than to make Obama look really stupid. In any event, Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

Let’s fix another piece of misinformation:

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has dismissed reports of the evacuation of the Islamic Republic’s Embassy staff in Syria following the resurgence of militant groups opposing the Syrian government.

And right now a second meeting is taking place in Doha between the Astana countries and five Arab countries (Jordan, KSA, Egypt, Qatar and Iraq).

I have seen Iraqi irregular forces massed on the border, but I have not seen them cross and take part in the war.

There are rumors that President al-Assad will address the nation tonight but just as many rumors denying that.

We also know that the Syrians are now out in certain areas: Support is taking place in Qudsaya, with national marches held in support of the Syrian army and President Bashar al-Assad.

Syrians are heard chanting: “God, Syria, and only Bashar!”

We also know that the new leader of Syria, just like Zelensky, has been chosen and is in the theater talking to US Television and making movies.   Just like Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly.

Seems to me we know a lot already if we can break through the discordant music of that Mighty Old Wurlitzer.

We have just started.  From Gaza, to all Palestinian areas, to Lebanon, through Syria, with the eye on getting to Iran.  We have just started.  Pepe Escobar believes Syria is falling and I have a lot of respect for him and for his calls.   He says:  “The barbarians are literally at the gate.  We are watching the total collapse of a nation in real – lightning-fast – time.”

We may pull this one out of the hole.  Yes, yet again I am swimming upstream.
