Israel-Hezbollah War Escalates

This is a valuable interview with Alastair Crooke by Larry Johnson.

They discuss:

  • Ideological roots of Benjamin Netanyahu
  • History of Hezbollah
  • Potential Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon

*Note this interview was recorded shortly before the reported assassination of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah

This is a long video:ย  If you want to directly go to the issues on the war, go to the time marker 49:00.

(Thanks Mr P for first posting it in our Hearty Salon).

This is from 2006:

They cry “O, vey is us, our foolish leadership!” — and keep many who could have helped change direction in comfortable stasis. Very dangerous sirens, who work for the “light side” of the… Read more »

Crucial video. Deep historical facts underlying Shia, Hezbollah and the formation of Iran as a religious state.

Crooke also deconstructs the myriad relationships and ideologies of Hamas, Hexbollah and Iran.
