Appointing an “Israeli” Military Governor in Gaza Is a Step Toward Perpetuating the Occupation

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement declaring that “israel’s” appointment of a military governor in the Gaza Strip reveals the true intentions of the fascist state and its plans to perpetuate the occupation of Gaza. These plans include structurally re-engineering the area through the largest campaign of population displacement and geographically dividing it into military zones, similar to the military divisions in the West Bank.

The Front added that our people in Gaza thwarted “israel’s” project to establish family and tribal links aimed at controlling the Strip in preparation for what is now called the “Day After.” The popular committees also defeated the project to form a civil administration loyal to the occupation as a replacement for the Palestinian Authority.

The Front asserted that the appointment of the “israeli” military governor in the Strip, under false and transparent pretenses like discussions of humanitarian civil affairs and providing relief to citizens, is nothing but blatant lies. Alongside the IOF, four brigades of the Border Police are participating in the operation, as well as the Shin Bet and undercover units, with extensive deployment of helicopters and drones.

The French are hitting Pavel Durov with something like 12 criminal charges, mainly holding him responsible for what others posted on his platform. Other platforms, like Meta has just written a sweet note to the current administration, copping to that one time y’know that they gave user information to the current administration, to appear oh so holy in the eyes of their users, and saying next time, in the same circumstances, they won’t do it again. People are actually falling for this. OK, we can laugh now.

It is interesting how the netizens are reacting. Mostly there is a solid wall of support behind Durov, as most people realize it does not matter whether you like him or not, he and his team built a robust and secure (until someone breaks it) messaging application. Some simply don’t like him. That is of course their own prerogative but they present ad hominem arguments .. he is this, or he is that, and by definition supporting the French action and the order from the Deep State. The Petit Roi’s police are just the enforcers. The Durov brothers were generally quiet and disclosed very little about themselves. Lavrov says in his posted speech today that the fact that France arrested Durov, shows that Telegram is a reliable messenger in terms of information security.

(The west and their cronies could not break it, they could not negotiate a backdoor, and they could not threaten Durov enough so that he gave them the inner workings.)   Lavrov also says that Russia expects France to respond to Moscow’s note on Durov’s arrest.

Those that do not understand what this is all about, understand this one thing:

Many built their businesses on Telegram as Telegram provided the tools. Where do we go? What gives us even a modicum of online security? Nothing!

Some do not realize that Durov is the face of telegram, but he has a full technical team behind him, so they aim their scorn only at Durov.  The Telegram cryptocurrency is taking the brunt at the moment and falling. But this is not Telegram. There is a different management behind TON, the cryptocurrency.

I find it difficult to believe that commentators do not see the trajectory of silencing, where Durov is only the latest victim. I do not understand that. For myself, in this case, it is majorly profitable to stick to Martin Niemöller:
