Do you believe in coincidences of this nature?  Vice presidential candidate JD Vance had to make an unexpected landing in Milwaukee after the pilot discovered a “door seal malfunction,” the Daily Mail reported.  “The pilot advised there was a malfunction with the door seal. After declaring an emergency, Trump Force Two returned to Milwaukee,” said spokeswoman Taylor Van Kirk, according to the report.

The incident comes just a week after Former US President Donald Trump’s made an emergency landing in Billings, Montana due to mechanical issues.

FBI raided the house of Russian-American political analyst Dimitri K. Simes in Virginia, local media reported.  Numerous law enforcement officers had been working on the estate’s territory since Tuesday morning, apparently removing items in trucks and trailers, US newspaper Rappahannock News reports.  Simes, 76, ran the Center for the National Interest think tank and The National Interest foreign policy magazine in Washington DC. Simes hosted Donald Trump’s first foreign policy speech in 2016, and previously advised former US presidents Richard Nixon on Ronald Reagan. Simes currently hosts political event show on Russian television and was in Moscow at the time of the FBI raid.

“I was not officially notified of any action. I have not seen a warrant. I was not contacted by any law enforcement or anyone else whatsoever,” Simes told the newspaper.

He also added that he is not aware that he is the subject of any law enforcement investigation.

The New Zealand authorities have decided to extradite Kim Dotcom, the founder of the file-sharing services Megaupload and Mega, to the United States.

The businessman has repeatedly come under the FBI’s scrutiny and has been accused of fraud, racketeering, and money laundering. Dotcom often criticizes the U.S. government. He has been living in New Zealand since 2010. Local media report that the entrepreneur intends to appeal the extradition decision.

Update:  RT reports:  The German-born internet entrepreneur and political activist has lost a 12-year battle against extradition to the US over the video-sharing platform, Megaupload, which he founded.  New Zealand Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith signed the extradition order against Dotcom, a spokesperson said Thursday.

Dotcom has vowed to continue his fight against extradition and said on social media “the obedient US colony in the South Pacific just decided to extradite me for what users uploaded to Megaupload.”

UNSC meeting August 13:  Members denounced the Israeli military’s recent attack on a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza that killed at least 100 Palestinians, while Russia and China held the US accountable for the incident due to weapons support.

“When pushing for Security Council Resolution 2735, the US claimed that Israel had accepted a cease-fire agreement, but the reality is quite the opposite,” Fu Cong, Permanent Representative of China to the UN, told the Council during an emergency session on Palestine on Tuesday that was requested by Algeria.  Saying there are no “credible signs of Israel’s commitment to a cease-fire,” Cong said “what we see is ever-expanding military operations and ever-rising civilian casualties.”

The Chinese envoy noted that the US is the “largest supplier of weapons” to Israel and has enough influence over the country.

There is this report from one of the channels: “In just one day, August 11, 2024, on the combat contact line in the Kursk region, units of the Russian Armed Forces burned and destroyed more than 70 pieces of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment. This is a record for the SVO. And, given that this was the enemy’s operational reserve equipment and all of it was new and Western-made.”

Let’s see what the governor says: “Acting Governor of Kursk Oblast reported that approximately 121,000 residents have evacuated from the border regions, while the fate of about 2,000 people in 28 settlements under the control of the Kiev regime remains unknown.” The depth of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ penetration is 12 km, with a width of 40 km, Governor Smirnov stated in a meeting with Putin.

So many of the information sources let us know that Kursk is not a problem any longer, or the Russian forces waved a magic wand and the Ukie soldiers dissipated in a ball of light or something else magical. Well, to all of those, it is. Not that it won’t be solved, but it is a problem or you may disagree with Mr Putin or the Governor of the area.

This area is still under pressure. There are still settlements under control of Kiev regime on the Russian side of the border. But one does not dare say anything because of the war among the commentators and channels and tweets and other media has reached the point of fragging and not only the officers. The SMO is slowly moving to an end, or perhaps not, perhaps it will creep across the Ukraine. I’ve often wondered what all these new channels would do when this happens? And I see new ones open on a daily basis.

Putin held a meeting to address the situation in the Kursk region.

➡️The operation by Kiev in the Kursk region is intended to halt the advance of Russian troops, Putin highlighted. He also promised that a comprehensive assessment of the events in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions would be provided.

➡️Despite Kiev’s provocations, Russian troops are advancing along the entire front line, according to Putin. He noted that the pace of the advance has not only been maintained but has increased by 1.5 times following the events in the Kursk region.

➡️Putin assured that the enemy would receive a fitting response and that all of Russia’s objectives would be achieved.

Now there are too many reports to ignore, from too many directions that the Ukraine is using chemical weapons at least in the Kursk region.

Sheikh Hasina confirms US role in Bangladesh riots: media

The US orchestrated the regime change in Bangladesh as it failed to gain sovereignty over the strategically important island of St. Martin while former PM Sheikh Hasina led the country. “I could have remained in power if I had surrendered the sovereignty of Saint Martin Island and allowed America to hold sway over the Bay of Bengal.,” Hasina said in a message conveyed to the Economic Times through her close associates.

The Israeli army claims that Mounther/Montaser Daher was one of the alleged targets they killed in the massacre at the Tabi’een School this morning.

Initial checks also reveal that the first name on the Israeli army’s list is Yusuf Al-Wadiya. Further investigation shows that Yusuf Al-Wadiya was killed by Israel at his home two days before the massacre.
