This came over the wires about two hours ago: “Donetsk is currently under massive enemy attack. The city is being attacked using 155 mm heavy artillery, Kamikaze UAVs, Himars MLRS, and air defense is operating.”

I wonder where the Ukies are gaining this energy from. Seems to me as if there is another hand on the attack button than before. I think help has arrived for the Ukrainian forces but do not want to speculate on whose help that could be.

I was waiting a little for news of these two terror bombings in Russia as the information seemed very iffy.  But now we have Maria Zaharova .. “Moscow considers the strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Lugansk and the Kherson region to be planned and carefully prepared acts of intimidation”, stated Zakharova.  According to her, Kiev received a “green light” from Washington to carry out the strikes using Western weapons.  The NATO signature is evident.

This needs to go into our watchlist to follow up because the injury and kill rates are sizable and hell will follow from the Russian side.

Hezbollah air defenses force Israeli jets to turn tail – Thursday’s operation marked Hezbollah’s first confirmation of its ability to target Israeli fighter jets.

Hezbollah announced in a statement on 6 June that it targeted Israeli warplanes over the south of Lebanon, forcing them to withdraw to their airspace.  The statement marked the Lebanese resistance group’s first acknowledgment that it possesses the ability to confront Israeli fighter jets, something which observers have speculated about for years.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has informed Israel’s Defense Attaché in the United States, Major General Hidai Zilberman, of his decision to finally include Israel in the blacklist of countries and organizations harming children in conflict zones.

This list also features groups like ISIS, al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram.

According to a report published today by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel’s extensive efforts to persuade Guterres to avoid this step have failed.

Israel will appear on the blacklist set to be released next week in a report distributed to UN Security Council members, with a discussion scheduled for June 26.

Russian warships will arrive in Havana next week, say Cuban officials citing ‘friendly relations’

Four Russian warships, including a nuclear-powered submarine, will arrive in Havana next week, Cuban officials said Thursday, citing “historically friendly relations” between both nations.

Cuba’s foreign ministry said in a news release that the ships will be in Havana on June 12-17, noting that none of them will carry any nuclear weapons and assuring their presence “does not represent a threat to the region.”

The announcement came a day after U.S. officials said that Washington had been tracking Russian warships and aircraft that were expected to arrive in the Caribbean for a military exercise. They said the exercise would be part of a broader Russian response to the U.S. support for Ukraine.

I was watching MOATS with Galloway this evening as Scott Ritter was going to say some words. He does not look good. He looks battered and a little lost (of course not only the eyes does the looking).
