Let’s Rise!

We’ve come to a fork in the road, a little different feel of the zeitgeist, after all the jawdropping happenings in Russia before and after Putin’s inauguration, the myriad of speeches all focused on a multipolar world that does not bow to a hegemon, a terrible exposure yet again of Western leadership and professional mocking sessions.

Up ahead today are the final comments on Xi Jinping s European tour and then so far, the next critically important happening will be President Putin and President Xi Jinping meeting.  At that meeting we will get indication if they are happy with the world progress or what change is imminent.  Remember the take-away quote from the previous meeting; Change not seen in a 100 years and these two are the visionaries that instruct the designers.

🇵🇸🇺🇳 The United Nations General Assembly has backed a Palestinian bid to become a full UN member by recognising it as qualified to join and recommending the UN Security Council “reconsider the matter favourably”.

The assembly adopted a resolution on Friday with 143 votes in favour and nine against – including the US and Israel.

This apparently is not full membership.  I’ll  check or someone else can. Of course the US will veto at the security council.

Israeli tanks entered the city of Rafah in southern Gaza earlier this week, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisting that the operation that had been delayed for several months was essential to secure “total victory” over the Palestinian armed group Hamas.

Democracy??? It is a mess and not for us. This new time may see us or other individual states change their constitutions and way of work materially:

Kuwait’s Emir, Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has dissolved parliament, ending the country’s brief experiment with democracy.

He has assumed ‘full control’ of country’s political affairs; all democratic institutions suspended.

The Emir of Kuwait has also suspended various articles of the constitution, for a period of up to 4 years. There is one African country as well, going this way.
