The Great Desperation

Staged performance by the Philippines, US, Western media a total flop: The staging of performances is such a measure of failure especially if they bring the journalists along to take bad pics.

Here is your latest staged performance.ย  Hollywood should go back to work – we’re missing some exceptionally bad drama.ย ย ย  https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202309/1298912.shtml

Rulers are increasingly a collection of narcissistic incompetentsย  Think von der Leyen, Borrell, Macron, Baerbock and Trudeau as the prime examples.

A breakdown of diplomacy doesnโ€™t quite describe how bad things have become. The behavior of US and European leaders has become increasingly unhinged and any semblance of rationality has been abandoned. It is impossible to listen to Western leaders without coming to the conclusion that something is very wrong.ย  (That is why I seldom do myself the favor to listen to them .. Only enough to recognize them.)

Carefully selected political elites are incompetent in exactly the same way, for exactly the same reasons. Their only competence is the ability to destroy our economies, our culture, our societies, our health, and our free countries.

A quiet purge

Chinaโ€™s PLA warns cadres about socialising with wrong people

The Peopleโ€™s Liberation Army (PLA) has urged Chinese military personnel to be careful about who they associate with, saying socializing with the wrong people is a key reason โ€œsome leadersโ€ have been removed from their positions.

Chinese military cadres should โ€œpurify their social circle,โ€ a commentary published by the state-run PLA Daily said, without elaborating on the leaders who were removed from their posts.

This might point at the disappearance of Defense Minister Li Shangfu, who dropped from public view at the end of August, just months after the ouster of generals in the command that manages the countryโ€™s nuclear arsenal.

China prepares for war.ย September saw the PLA break the record for the number of daily aircraft sorties and vessel activities around the island of Taiwan, as the island spotted 103 PLA warplanes on September 17 and 20 PLA warships on September 11. Also in mid-September, the Shandong aircraft carrier group held a five-day exercise in West Pacific waters to the east of the island, joined by another group of eight PLA warships.

Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation

(25 September 2023)

Part I (See Part II (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/9929))

โ–ซ๏ธLast night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have launched a group strike with long-range precision weapons and strike drones against temporary deployment sites of foreign mercenaries and sabotage groups training points of the AFU. All the facilities have been neutralised. The goal of the attack has been reached.

A reference document worth keeping:ย

Meanwhile, if you have any doubts that the United States is the number one country in the World for military โ€œinterventionsโ€ just take a look at this report from the U.S. Congressional Research Service, Instances of Use of United States Armed Forces Abroad 1798 โ€“ 2023. Since 1991, the United States has launched more than 200 military operations in foreign countries. Russia and China combined have been involved in less than 20 such activities. Just think about those numbers the next time you hear some American politician bloviate about the imperial ambitions of Russia and China. To paraphrase comedian Jeff Foxworthy, โ€œIf you launch an average of 9 foreign invasions a year you might be an Imperialist.โ€

Sep 25

It’s becoming clearer by the day that the Western rules based order now understands that:

its days as an hegemonic power are over.

They understand its end is not decades away or even years away. Their fear of losing control is palpable. They also know that they can’t assert themselves militarily and weaponising the dollar is a law of rapidly diminishing returns. Their arrogance, ignorance and stupidity will continue to dominate their actions for now because acceptance of the new reality is quite something else.

From Ria Novosti

The Russian military destroyed a Leopard with a crew from the Bundeswehr in the SVO zone. If you read the report, these were not mercenaries, but German soldiers. LUHANSK, 23 Sep-RIA Novosti. Scouts of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Leopard tank transferred to Ukraine with a fully German crew consisting of soldiers of the German Armed Forces, the commander of the reconnaissance group operating in the Zaporozhye direction, with the call sign Legend, told RIA Novosti.
ยซ
“When we stopped their next” meat assault ” and zapturili (destroyed with ATGM. – Editor’s note) Leopard, we moved to the burned-out equipment in the hope of taking it. And they found out that the tank driver was seriously wounded, and the rest were killed. The mechanic, when he woke up and saw us, started shouting “nicht schiessen” (don’t shoot. – Editor’s note), ” the group commander said.

Legend stressed that he knows German well.
ยซ
“(Mechanized platoon of a damaged tank. – Editor’s note) said several times that he was not a mercenary, but a member of the Bundeswehr and the entire crew from one company,” the fighter added.

The scout clarified that while the German serviceman was being given first aid he named his brigade and its location. Name, rank and serial number.

Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation

(17โ€“23 September 2023)

Part I (See Part II) (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/9906)

โ–ซ๏ธ In the period from 17 to 23 September 2023, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 12 group strikes with long-range ground-based and air-launched precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against facilities for the repair of aircraft and armoured vehicles, oil refineries, storage depots for ammunition, precision weapons, and weapons of foreign manufacture, centres for the reconnaissance and training of Ukrainian militants, as well as locations where foreign mercenaries were stationed.

โ–ซ๏ธ As a result of the strikes, significant damage was inflicted on the logistics system of the AFU groups operating in Kherson and Zaporozhye directions, the capabilities of the enemy’s repair and recovery bodies were reduced, and part of the stocks of cruise missiles and depleted uranium ammo, launchers of multiple-launch rocket launchers, and anti-aircraft missile systems transferred by the West to Ukraine were destroyed.

Pepe Escobar forwarded this piece from the channel Eurasia and Multipolarity.ย

His comment, and I am inclined to take it seriously as he has spent a lot of time feet on the ground and measuring the Russian soul in Russia, is Absolutely Spot On!.ย

Today we will see the Russian pundits’ commentary on the rocket hit on the Russian Black Sea Fleet HQ.ย  A very quick take from me after reading a number of commentaries very quickly, the Russians are going to demand SMO progress.ย  We will monitor this today.ย  The Black Sea Fleet is an issue of Russian Heart.

Forward:

The Kremlin decided to opt for SMO and not war as definition for several reasons but the main one is that Russians shouldn’t perceive it as something that impact their lives negatively, in fact life continued normally in Russia, nothing changed since the beginning of the SMO, this is also why the number of troops deployed to the Ukrainian battlefield has always been just enough for a prolonged war of attrition and not for a decisive military action but especially in light of increasing tensions in other areas it would be appropriate to consider changing this strategy for a final push.
How many times we said/heard that “Ukrainian forces are on verge of collapse” but unfortunately it never materialized, the collapse of Kiev/NATO forces did not happen because Russian forces are on the defensive since months besides some small, very limited, unsuccessful offensives in Kupyansk/Liman directions that changed nothing on the ground, if you want to make it real you need to overstretch them by launching a big offensive somewhere, otherwise unless there is a big drop in NATO weapons supply the stalemate will continue indefinitely and ultimately the desperate Kiev regime will represent an even bigger threat to Russian national security.
The only way to defend Russian national security is to push all of Kiev regime forces on the Western side of the Dnepr and take all the territory of Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions.

And shortly after this press, Poland walked their cat backwards and Warsaw says it will continue to send weapons to Kiev despite escalating tensions over grain shipments

Poland makes its move

Poland has withdrawn from the race to pump Ukraine with weapons

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that his country no longer sends weapons to Ukraine. Now Poland is finally taking care of itself – promising to have the most modern weapons and become one of the strongest armies in Europe.

The media presented everything as if the world found out about it by accident. In one of his last interviews, (https://wgospodarce.pl/informacje/133077-premier-nie-przekazujemy-uzbrojenia-na-ukraine-teraz-sami-sie-zbroimy) Morawiecki spoke about the recently extended ban on the import of Ukrainian grain to Poland, which put the country at odds with Kiev. His complaint to the World Trade Organization is bitterly criticized in the Polish Sejm. Morawiecki also hinted at the authorities’ disappointment. And then the journalist asked him whether Warsaw would continue to provide military support to Kyiv, but it turned out that the feeding trough had already been removed. โ€œWe will arm ourselves with the most modern weapons,โ€ Morawiecki said.

Since last year, Poland has been buying American and South Korean tanks, combat aircraft, MLRS vehicles and Italian helicopters. There is a demand for both old and new weapons. By 2035, the Poles want to spend more than 100 billion euros on the army. But the bar will have to be maintained not only in terms of purchasing weapons, but also maintaining โ€œone of the strongest armies in Europe.โ€

There are currently about 170 thousand military personnel in the country, and this number could increase to 400 thousand. True, the promises have become more modest: just six months ago, Poland declared that it would make its army โ€œthe strongest in Europe.โ€

Part I (See Part II (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/9875))

โ–ซ๏ธ Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with long-range airborne precision weapons and strike drones against military industrial facilities, as well as centres for radio-technical reconnaissance and the training of sabotage groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The goal of the strike has been achieved. All the targets have been engaged.

It has been somewhat quiet on the front over the past few days.ย  Last evening, it changed and I count a Kia rate of close to 700.

Time should forward to Belt and Road so that some pragmatism can return to the world.ย  UNGA is a dog’s breakfast and I’ve never seen such derangement.ย  FM Lavrov is holding his pose and the Western attempts to dine out on Zelesnky the clown, by hanging him from his puppet bars are only partially successful.ย  Some did not agree with me at the time of the G20 when it seemed like India had a breakthrough.ย  No, that was just a postponement and now we have a rabid west wanting to make up for a little lost ground.

We need to pay serious attention to Mr Lavrov’s statement yesterday:ย  Lavrov states Risk of Global Conflict Increasing

And to China’s op ed:ย  US hijacks UNGA, using Ukraine crisis to serve selfish purpose, attack others

India has zig zagged again.
