NATO Demands X Censorship:

Defensive Alliance Bemoans Return of RT on X Platform

Jens Stoltenberg & Co. have been analyzing how RT is doing (very kind of them). According to NATO’s Strategic Communications Center of Excellence, Russian and Chinese media have seen a dramatic rise in visibility online.

Until Elon Musk took over, the likes of RT were branded ‘state-affiliated’ and cast into the shadows. Now, the playing field has been leveled again – with outlets like the BBC labeled.

NATO’s data says there’s been a 60% average increase in views – with 150% for the Russian Embassy in 🇺🇸 – and even singles out RT’s sister channels in Arabic and Spanish, up 48% and 87% respectively.

NATO is angry that X is allowing RT and others to go viral again.

Over the last few days, the Russian MoD reported simply the continuation of the special military operation. The Ukies and the Poles and other mercanaries keep throwing themselves against the Russian defenses, and Russia keeps crawling forward. The western news forces are trying to put lipstick on this pig and find something good for them in the situation, but there is nothing good for them. On a daily basis, they are losing more spectacularly, or even spectacularly stupidly, while Russian forces continue to shape the battlefield for themselves.

The supposed attempt at some kind of multi-national peace initiative is also losing energy.  Russia holds the peace and will hold the peace.

And Russia is off to the moon. https://www.rt.com/on-air/581090-luna25-lander-launch-vostochny/

India-China border talks to resume soon

Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said on Monday that talks to ease tensions along the border have not been “halted” and that both the countries “have made progress on key tension points in the last three years”.

“India-China border talks not halted, meeting will be held soon,” Jaishankar said. Both India and China have been holding several rounds of military-level talks to solve issues in the disputed border regions.

In June this year, the Ministry of External Affairs had said both sides agreed to hold the 19th round of high-level military talks at an early date for restoration of peace and tranquility in the border areas.

We have a new peace plan from the meetings in Jeddah, reportedly (and without Russia).  All I can say, is that the West and NATO are now more than desperate and they are beginning to negotiate.  It is negotiation into the void, as Russia is not present.  The quoted piece from TASS has a surprise at the last sentence and BRICS is beginning to show its teeth.

BERLIN, August 6. /TASS/. Participants in the Jeddah consultations on Ukraine discussed another peace plan along with the one suggested by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, the DPA news agency said on Sunday, citing diplomatic sources.

According to the sources, the new plan was presented by the host nation – Saudi Arabia, along with a number of other countries. The plan envisages the preservation of Ukraine’s integrity, a ceasefire along the entire frontline, the beginning of UN-brokered talks, and the exchange of prisoners. Saudi Arabia has informed Russia about the consultations, DPA said.

Initially, according to the DPA sources, it was planned to discuss only Zelensky’s so-called peace plan.

Jeddah is hosting consultation on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine on August 5-6. Delegates from more than 30 countries, including Brazil, the United Kingdom, India, China, the United States, South Africa, and European Union nations, are taking part. Russia has not been invited.

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow will keep an eye on the peace meeting on Ukraine in Saudi Arabia, but its aims are yet to be understood. According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the meeting in Saudi Arabia will not be useless, if it helps the West realize that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called peace plan is a dead end.

Commenting on the Jeddah consultation, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock admitted that South Africa, Brazil, and China’s view on the developments in Ukraine differ from Europe’s.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told TASS that Russia will discuss the Jeddah meeting’s outcome with its BRICS partners who took part in it.

▫️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued the special military operation, defeating and repelling enemy offensive attempts in Donetsk, Kupyansk, Krasny Liman, South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.

Today at 11.27 a.m., an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle against facilities on the territory of Moscow region was foiled.

▫️ There were no casualties or damage as a result of the foiled terrorist attack.

Medvedev writes (https://t.me/medvedev_telegram/369):  (The so-called peace meeting that is ongoing now)

About Jeddah

Condemning the desire to end the war is difficult.
Arguing with references to the UN Charter becomes impossible as it acknowledges not only sovereignty but also the right of nations to self-determination.
However, any peace proposal’s success hinges on meeting three key conditions:

  • Both sides of the conflict must participate, which is currently not happening.
  • Taking the historical context into account, Ukraine did not exist before 1991; it was a fragment of the Russian Empire.
  • Considering current realities, Ukraine is in a stage of semi-decay, and some of its territories have returned to Russia.

A mediator who recognizes these obvious facts stands a chance of success, while others may not.

Nevertheless, negotiations themselves may not be necessary yet. The enemy must kneel, begging for mercy.

AHH and I are still updating on the Niger coup here. It is beginning to ring out across the world. The World Bank has entered the theater with some bribery. The World Bank is aiming to help fund construction of 1,000 mini solar power grids in Nigeria in partnership with the government and private sector, the lender’s president Ajay Banga said on Saturday.

Nigeria’s President Tinubu was money laundering for heroin dealers in Chicago.

We are seeing more talk from the African leaders opposing military force. Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that a possible intervention in Niger would be a direct threat to his country. Algeria opposes possible military intervention in the Republic of Niger, where the head of State Mohamed Bazoum was removed from power as a result of the July 26 mutiny. This was stated on Saturday evening by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in an interview with national television.

“Waving military intervention in Niger is a direct threat to Algeria, and we completely and categorically reject it,” the head of state stressed. “Problems should be solved peacefully,” he continued, speaking about the events taking place in Niger.

“There has been a coup [in Niger]. And we have confirmed that we stand for constitutional legality. And it is necessary to return to this legality. We are ready to help them,” Tebboune added.
