Pakistan going into uproar.  Let’s look at this first:

1..”Pakistan’s federal cabinet has ‘quietly’ approved the signing of a security pact with the United States in a significant move that may pave the way for Islamabad procuring military hardware from Washington.  The agreement expired in 2020 but the two sides have now renewed that arrangement that covers joint exercises, operations, training, basing and equipment. ”

2..So then,  Pakistan’s former PM Imran Khan sentenced to three years imprisonment, disqualified from politics for five years.  Khan has been arrested from Lahore and now being shifted to central jail.

3..And then, Pakistan’s Election commission is now set to announce the date of general elections after disqualification of Imran Khan.

Niger has lit a fire in Africa :

Anti-UN protests erupted in the Democratic Republic of Congo, demanding the withdrawal of UN troops known as MONUSCO.

Armed security guards shielded the UN headquarters in Goma, which was stormed and pelted with Molotov cocktails during similar protests last year.

“If they don’t leave, we will fight until they leave our country because they are not doing anything,” said Ephraim Bisimwa, who attended the protests. MONUSCO has more than 17,000 personnel in the Democratic Republic of Congo and has a budget of $1.1 billion for 2023, making it the most expensive “peacekeeping force” in the world.

The UN mission has been in Congo for over two decades and has faced criticism for its involvement in various scandals. Notably, the DRC has been the epicenter of the UN sexual abuse epidemic and reports the highest percentage of victims of sexual violence by UN troops.

Peace Train:   Brazil will not attend this summit on Ukraine, which is scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.  China, Mexico, and other countries from the “global south” have also refused to participate in the negotiations on Ukraine without Russia’s involvement. An advisor to the Brazilian leader, Celso Amorim, pointed out that a previous meeting in Copenhagen failed to reach a consensus on Ukraine because Kiev insisted on discussing only its formula for ending the war.

BRICS:  Yesterday we had one president.  Today we have three as Lula from Brazil and Modi from India suddenly announced their participation.  I have this idea that China lit this fire but cannot say it for sure.

Trump was not arrested today and he pled not guilty. Looks like this one is on the back burner to be called out or not as the current administration decides.

There is something else interesting from the US. There is deep disappointment on RFK Jr’s stance on Israel. So, he agreed to debate Max Blumenthal on the issue.

▫️Last night the Kiev regime made another attempt to attack a Russian Navy ship escorting civilian maritime transport with an unmanned boat in the south-western part of the Black Sea. As a result of professional actions of the Russian ship’s crew, the Ukrainian boat was promptly detected and destroyed.

▫️The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts at offensive actions in South Donetsk, Krasny Liman, Zaporozhye, Kupyansk and Donetsk directions.

Brussels urges Russia not to use drone attacks in Moscow to escalate Special Military Operation in Ukraine, adds that “weapons supplied by Brussels to Kiev can only be used to protect Ukrainian territory.”

🤡But they won’t ask Ukraine to stop attacking Russian territory.

So, Russia should sit back and be attacked because Brussels is running real scared?  These people have no sense of self besides self-superiority.

It is quite interesting to note that yesterday China put the brakes on drone sales.  They will only sell drones that explicitly cannot be used for military purposes, and that includes drones that are used by law enforcement.

A spokesman from China’s Defense Ministry expressed strong opposition to the United States’ military assistance to Taiwan and called for an end to all military connections with the island.

Senior Colonel Tan Kefei stated that the planned assistance is a significant interference in China’s domestic affairs, posing a serious threat to China’s sovereignty and security, as well as peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.  China has firmly conveyed its opposition to the US and made solemn representations on the matter.
