Peace Train: Brazil, India, South Africa
Quo vadis es una frase latina que significa ¿A dónde vas? Where are you headed, Brazil, India, South Africa?
Pepe Escobar has been warning that these three countries are under extreme western pressure. I have been saying that the tactics and techniques against BRICS, rival those of any type of color revolution.
This photo is from a meeting of national security representatives in Copenhagen on June 24-25. The topic of the meeting was the peace talks on Ukraine. Biden’s national security aide Jake Sullivan acted as de facto chairman.
Brazil, Britain, Germany, Denmark, India, Italy, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, South Africa, Japan, and Ukraine plus an EU representative took part.
The event was held as part of the promotion of the so-called. “Zelensky’s peace plan” of ten points. The plan should fix the strategic defeat of Russia in the conflict, including the restoration of Ukraine within the borders of 1991, the payment of reparations by Moscow, etc.
▪️ Note that, judging by the previously announced data , China was also invited to Copenhagen, but there was no representative of Beijing at the meeting. And this is very important – even despite the presence of the three BRICS countries – South Africa, India and Brazil.
China’s refusal to join the Copenhagen meeting highlights the special relationship of strategic partnership that has developed between Russia and China, as well as, of course, the ambitions of the Chinese leadership, whose own peace plan for Ukraine was announced earlier by President Xi. It is clearly not befitting for Beijing to support any initiatives that come formally from Kyiv, but de facto from Washington.
But, it is more than that. China is not lending its weight to a peace plan from Zelensky, that is based on pie in the sky and western dreams.
▪️ In general, the obvious anti-Russian nature of the event in Copenhagen, as well as the desire of the United States already in July, even before the NATO summit, to decide the fate of Russia behind its back, is superimposed here on an attempt to win over countries that are neutral in the Ukrainian crisis.
It can be predicted that Washington will only increase such attempts to split the non-Western world.
One way or another, the true position of neutral countries in relation to Russia will not be determined from the United States, but based on our own authority in the international arena. Which now largely depends on military successes in the Ukrainian theater of operations and internal stability in the country.
