War does not take weekends off.

⚡️Today, at around 1.30 a.m. Moscow time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine unsuccessfully attempted to attack the Black Sea Fleet’s ship Priazovye, which is carrying out control and security tasks along the routes of the Turkish Stream and the Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, with six unmanned speedboats.

◽️In the course of repulsing the attack, all the boats were destroyed by Russian ship’s regular weapons 300 kilometres southeast of Sevastopol.
There were no casualties. The ship was not damaged.

◽️During this period, as during previous similar attacks, the United States Air Force’s RQ-4B Global Hawk strategic reconnaissance drone conducted reconnaissance in the airspace of the central Black Sea.

◽️The Black Sea Fleet’s Priazovye ship continues to carry out the assigned tasks.

Comment:  Sanctions did not work, the total hissy fit of the EU and banning Russian gas and oil is not working, and the sheer amount of hydrocarbons from Russia to the world is just increasing week by week and month by month.  The clear strategy now is to demolish the infrastructure.  I recently read from China that they stopped bringing power-providing ships into areas that may be in need of power at any point in time.  The reason was after NS was blown up, and further attempts at infrastructure terrorism, they were cautious and felt that such power-providing ships may be an open invitation to close-to-shore terrorism.  We have it!  This unipolar boss pigeon will clearly not hesitate to destroy itself before it lets go of hegemonic power.

On the intuitive theme, a very strong ancestral memory has now fully awakened – with those tanks. Dmitry Polyanskiy, (First Secretary, Permanent Russian mission to the UN) states that more and more Russians are not only calling Ukrainians ‘Nazis’ but the term ‘Germans’ is now becoming common usage. He says Berlin has managed to undermine decades of trust, peaceful coexistence and mutually beneficial cooperation after the defeat of the 3rd Reich. He states that hunting season on Leopards (tanks) has opened in full.

When all these new wunderwaffe was announced, many of our pundits announced that it will make no difference to the eventual outcome of the SMO. That is of course true, factually.  But it does make a difference, just think about timing and think about rate of carnage.  In this case, it is making a massive impact on the engaged viewer population and that plays into the military/technical means of solving the security problems and balance of both Russia and Europe, announced right at the outset. Russia will solve its own security problems via military/technical means.  I’m beginning to count psychology as a part of those technical means.  MEMES become powerful MEANS.

There are just soooo many of these!

In the netisphere, we saw the expectations from the latest wunderwaffe (it was tanks tanks tanks) driven to evangelical proportions.  We frequently want ‘the people to talk’.  Well, so they did!.  Factually of course it falls short, but emotionally we saw it in the raw.

They talked up Ukrainian ‘counteroffensive’ and believed in it, and in its assured success of course which was deeply inculcated and part of these pro-Ukrainian psyches, individually and in groupings.  This would be their very own individual and collective victory.  Now, those ones are literally being driven out of their minds with cognitive dissonance.  We see, and they see, these tanks being crumpled up, burnt up, shot to smithereens, and burning all over the battlefield.  After another night of heavy fighting, again with the Russian forces taking the day without losing an inch, the reality of the horrendous killing and dying is now heavily dawning, and cognitive dissonance exploding.  It is also clear that Western technology burns exceedingly well.

Cope, is the woke word, and even the cope is now falling apart and spectacularly failing.  And Russia is not giving an inch.  The sociological and psychological aspects cannot at this stage be plumbed.  All that I know, is that I see a mass of pro-Ukrainians losing their religions and their minds.

Vladimir Putin’s full statement about the Ukrainian counteroffensive:

It can be stated for sure that the counteroffensive has begun, and this is evidenced by the use of strategic reserves. The Ukrainian troops have not achieved the tasks assigned to them in any of the areas of combat operations. This is an absolutely obvious thing.

Intense fighting continues for five days, for example, for yesterday’s day, the day before yesterday, for the previous two days, they were very intense, and the enemy had no success in any of the sites. This is achieved thanks to the courage and heroism of our soldiers, proper organization and proper management of troops and the high efficiency of Russian weapons, especially modern weapons.

Over these days, we have seen significant losses of troops of the Ukrainian regime. It is known that during offensive operations, losses are about three to one, this is such a classic, but in this case it significantly exceeds this classic indicator.  I will not reproduce these figures, but they are impressive.

As for whether the counteroffensive was drowned or not, it can be stated that all the counteroffensive attempts made so far have failed. But the offensive potential of the Kiev regime’s troops is still preserved. I proceed from the fact that the Russian military leadership really assesses the current situation and will proceed from these realities, building our actions for the near future.

The Russian forces clobbered foreign-made war materiel.

⚡️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a long-range maritime and airborne high-precision strike against foreign-made ammunition, weapons, and military equipment depots, including unmanned aerial vehicles, tonight.

❗️ All designated facilities were engaged.

As a result of the strikes, the supply of groups of Ukrainian troops in the areas of combat operations was disrupted.

Strategy and Dogwhistles

Andrei Martyanov quotes Medvedev and parses Medvedev from a Telegram post and from an RT column.  The take-away is that the Russian strategy is complete annihilation of the Kiev regime parked in the country 404.  Andrei Martyanov considers this the official and standing statement of Russian strategy and intention.  The RT article states: “Last month, Medvedev, who currently serves as the deputy chairman of Russia’s National Security Council, claimed that Ukraine has no future in its current form and that the collapse of its statehood is inevitable. Here comes the dogwhistle and again they use a ‘former’ to leak the plan.

Patrushev

Undermining of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam was carried out by Ukraine – Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Patrushev

According to him, Kiev first made a large-scale discharge of water to the DneproGES, and then struck at the Kakhovskaya HPP.

Other statements by Patrushev:

• Coordinating Kiev’s activities, the United States, Great Britain and their NATO partners should be responsible for the situation with the Kakhovskaya HPP.
• The UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine showed that Europe supports the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists acting on Washington’s instructions.
• The United States is waging an undeclared war against Russia and Belarus, Western politicians are openly talking about it.
• The Kiev Nazi regime, created by the United States and Britain, needs to be replaced. Ukraine should become a neutral state.

⚡️ Statement by the Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu

◽️ Today at 1.30 a.m. in Zaporozhye direction, the enemy made an attempt to break through Russia’s defence by forces of the 47th Mechanised Brigade numbering up to 1,500 men and 150 armoured vehicles.

◽️ The enemy was timely detected by the reconnaissance means and a preventive strike was launched by artillery, aviation, and anti-tank weapons.

◽️ In all four directions the enemy was stopped and driven back with heavy losses.

◽️ As a result of two-hour combat the enemy lost 30 tanks, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, up to 350 troops. Thus the specially prepared reserve forces of the enemy for this breakthrough failed to fulfill their mission.

◽️  Yesterday on 7 June 2023, the enemy lost 945 troops, 33 tanks, 28 infantry fighting vehicles, 38 armoured fighting vehicles, three Krab self-propelled artillery systems, and other armament.
