Thierry Meyssan posted a list of most influential geopolitical analysts on the Internet during the year 2022.ย This was developed by a statistician out of Mexico, Juan C Diaz-Herrera from the University of Guadalajara (Centro Universitario De Ciencias Sociale).
Meyssan says:ย “This ranking does not mean that Thierry Meysan is the best in his field, but that he is the most influential on a global scale.”

I don’t know the scheme of work, but I could imagine it could be issues such as translations, the reach and travel of the work, and perhaps internet ‘hits’.
I disagree with their choices. I have read, still read, and follow at different times, depending on the context, the first four on the list, though I haven’t read Jalife Rahme in long time, as the axis of the contradiction empire/global south moved around the planet. Yeah, their criteria is curious. And this entire enterprise focuses on a narrow band of western language (mostly english) internet-followed analysts. Until recently, some of the best older analysts weren’t even online or widely known. They disdained a medium built by the US MIC, not wishing to have their time… Read more »
