Speaking of transit of Russian gas (or oil or neon or uranium or whatever) to the West, cannot the Russians not sell to those sanctioning Mir and Russian banks and find a way to require a certain percentage of purchases go through the Mir system?

Looks to me like a lame excuse for insurrection pure and simple, especially by Ziobandercon standards set for everyone else.  Perhaps Democrats are 30% less fascistic than Republicans or stated another way Republicans 42% more-so, but then Republicans are more open and forthright about what they are all about and doing whereas Democrats are more say one thing that sounds good but do the opposite.
