    GAZA LIVE BLOG: DAY 98

GAZA LIVE BLOG: US, UK Bomb Yemen | Fighting in Maghazi, Khan Yunis | Hezbollah Escalates Attacks | Israel to Counter Accusations at ICJ – DAY 98

▪️Instead of calling on Israel to halt its genocide in Gaza, Washington, along with its British allies, launched a bombing campaign of Yemeni targets.
▪️Meanwhile, Israeli massacres of Palestinian civilians continued unabated for the 98th day in a row while Palestinian Resistance continued to repel Israeli advancements.
▪️International NGO, Oxfam, has said that Israel’s military is killing Palestinians at an average rate of 250 people a day which massively exceeds the daily death toll of any other major conflict of recent years.
“The scale and atrocities that Israel is visiting upon Gaza are truly shocking. For 100 days the people of Gaza have endured a living hell,” Sally Abi Khalil, Oxfam’s Middle East Director, said in a statement on Thursday. Adding that “nowhere is safe and the entire population is at risk of famine.”
▪️South Africa has contended that “the evidence of genocidal intent” by Israel in Gaza “is not only chilling” but “also overwhelming and incontrovertible.”
This is according to Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, a member of the legal team that presented South Africa’s case, accusing Israel of genocide, at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Thursday.
In his argument, Ngcukaitobi outlined “an extraordinary feature in this case”, which is how “Israel’s political leaders, military commanders and persons holding official positions have systematically and in explicit terms declared their genocidal intent.”
“These statements are then repeated by soldiers on the ground in Gaza as they engage in the destruction of Palestinians and the physical

▪️The United States stupidly got involved in a hopeless conflict with the Houthis, who are only too happy about it. A losing hegemon with a group of its closest allies and vassals in tow could not have done otherwise, although they are not going to be able to do anything in Yemen. They have no troops to fight the Houthis on the ground, and air strikes alone will not achieve serious goals, and the blockade of the Red Sea by Yemen due to Israel’s actions in Gaza will not be lifted.

The USUK said the strikes against Yemen were for self-defense, LOL 😄
However, Yemen poses no threat to USUK’s interests. It only poses a threat to Israeli shipping. Yemen does have duty under international law to prevent genocide in Gaza and is on the right side of both the law and of history.

💬 “I have had double pneumonia (both lungs) as well as pneumothorax and a very severe case of edema (swelling of the body). All this started in mid-October but was ignored by the prison. They only admitted I had pneumonia at a Dec. 22 hearing. I am about to have a procedure to reduce the edema pressure in my lungs, which is causing me extreme shortness of breath, to the point of passing out after minimal activity, or even just talking for 2 minutes.”

🔸The US and Britain have entered a war that they are losing every day: A missile strike could turn into a mistake worth billions

Political scientist Almond: US strikes will lead to escalation of conflict in the Middle East

    Forwarded from Ostashko !
▪️⚡️🇺🇸🇬🇧🇾🇪 The US and UK launched 73 strikes in Yemen.
As a result of the attacks, 5 Houthi fighters were killed, and 6 more were wounded, Al Mayadeen reports, citing representatives of the Yemeni movement.
▪️🤡Lloyd Austin woke up in hospital from Yemen strikes
🤦‍♂️Lloyd Austin ordered and controlled the strike against the Houthis in Yemen using secure communications.
📝 “Today Austin ordered CENTCOM to carry out the strikes and monitored them in real time ,” CNN reported.
The US Defense Secretary said the strikes were “aimed at disrupting and degrading the Houthis’ ability to endanger sailors and threaten global trade.” The US destroyed a Houthi drone, an unmanned ship, a cruise missile and coastal radars, Austin said.
❗️Austin decided to pretend that the military operation was under his direct control, but Congress had already hinted that the whole undertaking was the work of an unruly grandfather in deep dementia. It is unlikely that the Minister of Defense could have led an attack on Yemen from a hospital room while recovering from a sore seat.
🤷‍♂️It seems that the White House decided that Austin, in general, had nothing to lose, so they decided to shift responsibility for the military operation onto him. Although there is information that the idea of attacking Yemen belongs to the self-propelled grandfather.
▪️🤡Saudi Arabia shows a master class in changing shoes
Shortly before the attack on Yemen, they opened their airspace to military aircraft of the Western coalition. The Houthis responded by saying that they would regard such a move as a declaration of war.
📝 “The Kingdom is following with great concern military operations in the Red Sea region and raids on targets in Yemen. We emphasize the importance of maintaining security and stability in the Red Sea region and call for restraint and avoidance of escalation ,” Saudi Arabia said.
Perhaps the Saudis expected that the US comrades would smash the entire infrastructure of the Houthis into dust, but they limited themselves to light, almost warning shelling, which only angered the group. Their ballistic missiles, of course, will not reach the United States and Europe, but the oil industry of Saudi Arabia is in the immediate affected area.

▪️🔸The purpose of US strikes on Yemen is to disrupt negotiations with the Houthis and distract from the scandal with Austin
    by Elena Suponina, political scientist
⚫️ Will there be a big war?
The danger is intensifying amid American strikes. However, there is no evidence yet that Tehran would want to get involved in such a war, and there is no evidence that Washington would like to see such a scenario develop. The US wants to create chaos while controlling it as much as possible.
⚫️ I see big risks, including for Biden, although probably one of his political strategists decided that this could raise his ratings and divert public opinion a little from the sudden disappearance of the head of the Pentagon.
⚫️ I have been to Yemen several times: not only the Houthis, but Yemenis in general are interesting guys: in sandals on their bare feet, in shabby jackets, in some kind of skirts, a dagger in their belt. Dressed according to the traditions of the Yemeni tribes.
⚫️ But they have old Soviet weapons, missiles, and weapons coming in illegally, apparently from Iran. There are also drones.
⚫️ They will, of course, wage an asymmetrical war. They have already attacked oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, which are well guarded. So the risks for the Americans are great, but apparently they are ready to do it, since their actions have now undermined the efforts of the UN: literally in recent days there has been progress in negotiations with the Houthis. It feels like it was done on purpose.
⚫️ Here, it is once again frightening that there is no UN Security Council resolution , no sanction of the international community for such attacks. Moreover, American law was also violated.
How many months will this take now?
⚫️ Blinken will be working feverishly to prevent this from escalating into a major war. But the danger will increase asymmetrically. Moreover, it will not necessarily increase only in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. It will increase, in particular, on the Lebanese-Israeli border. We will soon have a question about whether the Lebanese group Hezbollah will get involved in another conflict with Israel.

▪️🔴🇮🇷An explosion is reported in the Iranian city of Andish (20 km from Tehran).
Local media write that a powerful explosion occurred in a building associated with the IRGC.
▪️🇸🇾A missile attack was carried out on a US military base in Hasakah (Syria), allegedly by militants of the Islamic Resistance of Iraq.
    ⚡️Local media reported three explosions.
▪️❗️Explosions are reported in Yemen. Presumably, a second wave of attacks from the United States and Great Britain has begun.
▪️🇾🇪 A missile was fired at a ship in the Yemen area.
According to updated information on the incident in the Gulf off the coast of Yemen , the missile fell 400 meters from the ship. Perhaps it was a warning shot.
The missile was accompanied by three small ships. No damage received.

    🔸Forwarded from Colonelcassad :
▪️The Houthis reported that after assessing the damage caused by the US and British strikes, their missile capabilities were not affected at all, which is not surprising given the fact that many missile production workshops, as well as launcher sites, are located in mountainous areas using rock-cut adits and underground shelters. This infrastructure was created during the war with the Saudis, when the environment of regular airstrikes forced the Houthis to disperse and hide their key military assets. In detached houses, which can easily be destroyed by aircraft, they therefore do not keep anything valuable. In reality, without a large-scale ground operation to occupy part of Yemen’s territory, it is unlikely to undermine the Houthis’ missile potential.
    ▪️🔸Yemen. Disposition :
    1. Now it’s the Houthis’ turn. The next move of the United States depends on where and how they strike. They cannot not hit, as it will look like weakness, so they will hit. The US will not be able not to respond because if it does not respond, it will look like weakness. Therefore, the US will be forced to continue. Therefore, the following moves are actually a forced option.
▪️2. Iran will not enter into any war. This is the basis of his strategy. Iran’s goal, while avoiding direct war with the United States and Israel, is to maximally support their wars with their proxies – in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen. This is Soleimani’s strategy. It does not provide for quick victories and blitzkriegs – the task of Iranian proxies in the region is to drag Iran’s enemies into endless multi-year wars and exchanges of blows, in which the enemy gets stuck in sand, without achieving any operational or strategic goals. This is the concept of strategic attrition, which fully corresponds to the main provisions of the strategy of indirect action described by Liddle-Hart. By implementing this strategy, Iran has achieved a lot – despite all the opposition, it has strong positions in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine. While the enemies added chaotic tactics with attacks on Iranian proxies, Tehran consistently expanded its influence throughout the region.
▪️3. Iran has invested heavily in the Houthis and achieved the actual creation of Hezbollah 2.0 in Yemen near Saudi Arabia, creating an instrument of pressure on Riyadh. In the hands of Iran, this is an important figure with whom Iran made its move in the confrontation with the United States and Israel. Previously, Iran could only block the Persian Gulf, which threatened a direct clash with the United States, as was the case, for example, in the late 80s. Now he can blockade the Red Sea with the hands of the Houthis without risking himself, offering the United States a futile war with the Houthis, whose religious concept includes a direct war with the United States and Israel. The Freemen from Sana’a are just waiting to meet the Imperial Sardaukars.
▪️4. The United States understands the game that Iran is playing, so it wants to limit itself to a demonstrative and ineffective PR blow, which should at least save face for the hegemon and prevent Iran from being drawn into an exchange of blows with the Houthis. Therefore, even during and after the strikes, the United States declared its limitations and unwillingness to continue. But now it is the Houthis’ turn, and they can force further US steps that they would like to avoid. To do this, it will be enough for them to hit several ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Oman in the next couple of days. This is precisely what Iran’s response may consist of, followed by a reaction to the expected US actions, and the reaction, as usual, will affect the actions of Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria. That is why many American experts and politicians say that the US strikes against the Houthis were an impulsive mistake that will affect the US strategic position in the Middle East.
▪️5. Iran’s main program of action now.
Supporting the resistance in the Gaza Strip.
Support for Hezbollah strikes in Northern Israel.
Rocket attacks on Israel from Iraq and Yemen.
Shelling of American military bases in Iraq and Syria.
Support for the withdrawal of American and NATO troops from Iraq.
Supporting the Houthi maritime campaign in the Red Sea and Gulf of Oman.
▪️Therefore, do not expect sharp steps from Iran – it is playing for the long haul and is quite ready to convert its human and material costs into a strategic result. Sharp steps and statements will be made by pieces that are methodically moved by bearded grandmasters from Tehran.

GAZA LIVE BLOG: ICJ Opens Genocide Case | Israel Intensifies Strikes in Gaza | Resistance Ambushes Occupation Soldiers | UNSC Condemns Ansarallah – DAY 97

▪️As the International Court of Justice opens the South Africa genocide case against Israel, the Israeli army flattened homes in central Gaza, especially in the Nuseirat refugee camp and Deir Al-Balah.
▪️Meanwhile, Palestinian Resistance continued to clash with Israeli occupation soldiers in various parts of the Gaza Strip, documenting its operations through multiple videos.
▪️According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 23,357 Palestinians have been killed, and 59,410 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7.
▪️The Israeli army has acknowledged that its forces are engaged in a “complex fighting” against Hamas fighters in the Gaza Strip.
“We are fighting in a complex area, above ground and underground, with an enemy that has prepared for a long time to defend in an organized manner,” Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said during a visit in central Gaza on Wednesday.
▪️On Tuesday, the two main fighting Resistance forces in Gaza, Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades, released two videos. These two particular videos tell us much more about the state of the Palestinian Resistance in the Strip and the changing tactics used by Palestinians in the longest war ever fought by Israel in Gaza…

▪️Lebanon’s Resistance movement Hezbollah has targeted the Zionist regime’s espionage equipment at the sites of the Israeli military on the Lebanese border with the occupied territories.
▪️Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution once again posted a message in Hebrew on his X account on Wednesday, writing that, “The crimes of the Zionist regime will not be forgotten, even after this regime is destroyed and whipped out from the earth.”
▪️Yemen has condemned as a “political game” a resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council on naval operations in the Red Sea, saying the US is the side that is violating international law.

🔸US expulsion from Iraq will have global consequences in Russia’s favor
    https://m.vz.ru/world/2024/1/10/1247767.html
“Iraq is increasingly insistent on getting rid of US troops on its territory. There are a number of reasons why this process is unavoidable. It will bring with it fundamental changes throughout the Middle East. This will be a huge defeat for the United States, a victory for Iran – and will bring benefits to Russia as well.”

    Forwarded from Ostashko!
🤡 Netanyahu fussed on the eve of the trial in The Hague
Tomorrow, the UN trial will begin on a claim against Israel, as a result of which the IDF’s actions in Gaza may be recognized as genocide. Israeli figures are trying in every possible way to interrupt the agenda – for example, IDF Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari invited the Western press to Israel to “expose Hamas’ crimes against humanity.” Journalists, however, should remember the killings of their colleagues by Israeli soldiers in Gaza and think twice.
📝And Prime Minister Netanyahu said that “Israel does not intend to permanently occupy the Gaza Strip or expel the civilian population,” although the IDF has been literally driving all Palestinian civilians from their homes to the south with rockets from the very beginning of the conflict. According to Netanyahu, the Israeli army is “fighting terrorists, not the population,” and does so “in full compliance with international law.”
🧐 However, Israeli hypocrisy is unlikely to deceive anyone – in the Internet era, it is difficult to hide one’s war crimes. Neither Tel Aviv’s attempts to put pressure on other countries nor Blinken’s visits helped – many states, especially Arab ones, are already expressing support and agreement with the lawsuit against Israel. Although the UN has already proven its uselessness, formally accusing the IDF of genocide will not pass without international consequences, both for Israel and for its master, the United States.
▪️🤡The UN Security Council demanded that the Houthis stop attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
The organization approved a resolution by the United States and Japan condemning the Yemeni Houthis terrorizing merchant ships going to Israel. The Russian Federation proposed amendments to the resolution, but they were rejected, so Russia abstained from voting.
❗️The resolution allows all states to protect their ships from attack. The document also calls for “additional active practical cooperation” to block financial flows to supply the Houthis.
The West is desperately trying to come up with some kind of solution to Yemen, but so far, it is only incurring billions of dollars in losses. The Houthis, following Iran, have adapted to sanctions and Western pressure and now spit from a high bell tower on all the calls, demands, and threats of the United States and its sixes.
It demanded that the Houthis stop their strikes, but not Israel.
▪️🇺🇸🇱🇧 American intelligence warned of the risk of a Hezbollah attack on the United States – Politico
Because of the conflict in the Middle East, the risks of terrorist attacks and attacks on Americans not only in the Middle East but also in the United States increase every day, the publication writes.
Officials believe the likelihood of attacks by Lebanese militants is growing as fighting in the Gaza Strip escalates in the Middle East.
📝 Hezbollah could take advantage of the opportunities it has… for example, to place its people in different places to do something. This is a cause for concern ,” writes Politico.
🤦‍♂️ For the Americans, everything remains unchanged: first, they provoke a conflict, then they are afraid of retaliation and accuse others of “terrorism” (wasn’t that the case with the same Ukrainian conflict?)
▪️⚡️🇰🇵🇰🇷 Yonhap: tremors with a magnitude of 2.4 were recorded in the area of the North Korean nuclear test site.
It is possible that a nuclear explosion was carried out underground, South Korean media write. Given the recent exchange of warnings by both republics in the form of exercises on the border, this may mean that the DPRK has resumed underground nuclear weapons testing.
▪️🛢Oil tanker en route to Turkey hijacked off the coast of Oman
📝 “The day before, in Basra (Iraq), the vessel loaded approximately 145,000 metric tons of crude oil bound for Aliaga (Turkey) through the Suez Canal ,” the company said.
The cargo belonged to Turkish oil producer Tupras. The Tasnim publication reports that the ship was taken under control by Iranian military personnel.
▪️🇮🇷The Iranian Navy confirmed the seizure of a ship near Oman.
It is worth clarifying the situation. Tanker St. Nikolas is already heading towards the Iranian port of Jask.
The tanker is owned by the Greek shipping company Empire Navigation, and the cargo belongs to a Turkish company transporting Iraqi oil.
❗️Previously, the tanker was called Suez Rajan, and it was confiscated by the United States for transporting Iranian oil in circumvention of sanctions. Last year, the dispute between the United States and Iran was settled with the shipment of 1 million barrels of Iranian oil.

    Forwarded from Older than Edda:
🇮🇷🇺🇸 About the capture of an American Iranian tanker in the Gulf of Oman
What an interesting turn of events: in the Gulf of Oman, the special forces of the Iranian naval forces of the IRGC boarded the ship St. Nikolas . A group was landed from a helicopter, took control of the tanker, and is now escorting it to Bandar Abbas .
📌It seems that recent trends suggest that there is nothing unusual in this incident. Against the backdrop of regular attempts by the Houthis to seize commercial ships in the Red Sea, the actions of the Iranians no longer seem supernatural.
❗️But the devil is in the details: this ship was originally Iranian and bore the name Suez Rajan . More precisely, it belonged to a Greek company, but was chartered by the Iranians. However, then the Greeks made a deal with the Americans and transferred it to the United States.

After a lengthy trial in the United States, the Americans took the oil from it, and the tanker was seized and began to be used for their own purposes. And now, after more than six months, the Iranians actually returned what they had, and even with resources on board.
🔻Where it leads? Strictly speaking, there is no need . The so-called “tanker war” between Iran and the United States has been going on for several years. This is just another episode of this confrontation, where the Iranians are avoiding sanctions through shadow trade, and the White House is obstructing them.
At the same time, against the backdrop of the already mentioned Houthi attacks on shipping in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, an IRGC attack in the Gulf of Oman will force the Western naval group to react and, probably , pull part of the forces to the Iranian shores. And this certainly plays into the hands of the Houthis.

▪️The announcement comes at a time when Israel itself has admitted to the killing and wounding of dozens of soldiers in the last few days.
▪️Hundreds of Palestinian civilians were killed in ongoing Israeli strikes, mainly in Rafah, Khan Yunis, and Deir Al Balah.
▪️Israel’s Health Ministry has ordered hospitals in the north of the country to prepare for the possibility of receiving thousands of wounded people as tensions with the Lebanese Resistance Movement Hezbollah escalate.

In the face of international outrage, the Israeli occupation forces have relentlessly pursued their assault on Gaza for 96 consecutive days. Launching an onslaught of air strikes, artillery shelling, and fire belts, they have left a trail of destruction and criminal acts in their wake.
▪️The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have launched a large-scale raid campaign into cities in the West Bank, with a particular focus on the city of Jenin. This comes as part of a continuous Israeli aggression against Palestinians in the region.
Reports indicate that the raid into Jenin was met with fierce resistance, as confrontations broke out between the occupation forces and local Palestinian residents. The IOF continued their raid from multiple axes, causing widespread destruction to roads and infrastructure in the process.

🔸How many people could Israel lose in the Gaza Strip and when will the ground operation end: analysis of the Military Chronicle
▪️The ground operation began on October 27, and at the moment its duration is almost 2.5 months. However, the results of the operation can currently hardly be called satisfactory: none of the goals set by the Israeli leadership in 2023 have been achieved, full control over the territories inside the Gaza Strip has not been established, Hamas’s combat capability has not been undermined, and the hostages have not been freed.
    ▪️What were Israel’s goals?
On January 4, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant confirmed the previously established objectives of the operation and also revealed details of the post-war plan for the Gaza Strip. He said Israel’s war will continue until all hostages taken by Hamas in the October 7 attack are released and “all Hamas military and administrative capabilities are dismantled and all military threats to Israel are eliminated.” After the end of hostilities, upon achieving the objectives of the operation, Israel plans to retain the right to operate freely in the Gaza Strip, including with the help of security forces. It is clearly noticeable that the military and post-war goals of the operation and the criteria for their implementation are formulated as vaguely as possible.
▪️Where have the IDF forces advanced?
To the southwest, in the Khan Yunis area, the operation to isolate the southern part of Gaza continues. Judging by the current events, the IDF is trying to divide the Gaza Strip into three equal, isolated parts: Rafah in the south, Khan Yunis, Az-Zawaida and Al-Zahra in the center, while maintaining the isolated Jabaliya area in the north.
However, judging by information coming from the region, even the territories formally controlled by the IDF are disputed by Hamas forces. They are regularly attacked by Israeli troops. In fact, most of these territories would be more accurately classified as disputed.
▪️What did the IDF fail to achieve?
First, the Israeli army has failed to disrupt or completely interdict Hamas operations either in the contested areas or in the Gaza Strip as a whole.
Secondly, identifying and destroying Hamas underground communications is accompanied by enormous difficulties. IDF bomb squads are regularly attacked and trapped. At the same time, the IDF has not yet been able to completely detect and destroy underground workshops, hospitals, command centers and other infrastructure.
Thirdly, the IDF command, in fact, complicated the ground operation itself by subjecting Gaza to artillery shelling and bombing. Let us note that they had virtually no effect on Hamas’ combat capability, but they complicated ground operations due to the destruction. For example, in a destroyed city it turned out to be more difficult to use sensors and radio communications, and maps and surveillance systems were useless.
Another consequence of the bombing was numerous civilian casualties, which presumably increased the influx of motivated recruits into the ranks of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and influenced the growth of the number of Palestinian supporters outside Israel.
▪️Let us emphasize that the IDF continues to suffer high losses every day, having complete superiority over Hamas in everything – from the total number to the presence of heavy weapons, combat aircraft and modern reconnaissance equipment.
▪️What losses does the IDF expect?
On January 5, 2024, the Israeli Ministry of Defense published a forecast according to which, at the end of the conflict, 12.5 thousand military personnel will be recognized as disabled.
Moreover, back in December last year , reports appeared that the number of wounded in the IDF reached 5 thousand, of which 58% were seriously wounded. If this figure is correct, then in less than three months the irretrievable losses of the IDF could amount to about 1.3-1.5 thousand people killed.

Now, the opposition has the opportunity to resume attempts to remove Netanyahu from power through legal proceedings, including using old charges of Netanyahu corruption and abuse of power. These efforts may be supported from abroad by those forces that seek to freeze the war in Palestine, seeing Netanyahu and the current government as the main obstacle to a truce.
▪️🔻Israeli sources reported that Lieutenant Colonel “Sevi Shayev,” the commander of the 12th Battalion of the Golani Brigade of the Zionist regime army, who took a commemorative photo in the house of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, was killed in clashes with the Palestinian resistance.

▪️In a statement, the military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades said that the Resistance has destroyed 42 Israeli military vehicles, partially or fully, and killed 22 soldiers in the last week.
▪️Gaza: Brutal Aggression Continues for 96th Day with Devastating Destruction
    https://english.almanar.com.lb/2021571

🇹🇷🇺🇸Remember how the Turks demanded that the Americans leave the Incirlik military base? So recently, there was a leak of the American-Turkish government. correspondence revealed the fact of the transfer of rights to use the largest military base by the Prime Minister and now President of Turkey Erdogan.
▪️The materials published by WikiLeaks clearly show that Erdogan, who actively opposed military action in Iraq , secretly made major concessions to the Americans in 2003 .
📌Incirlik AFB is the location of the 39th Air Force Base Wing. In the official document, one can find the regiment’s own description: “..projecting global power through strategic deterrence and flexible support .” It sounds powerful, to say the least.
▪️The base houses up to 5,000 US Air Force personnel . The United States uses the base as a jump-off airfield and a transit point on the way to transfer weapons from all over Europe to the Middle East.
▪️For example, the United States is likely using the base to transport weapons to Israel – a week ago, a C-130J Hercules military transport aircraft spotted taking off from the Incirlik base was heading to the United Kingdom air base in Cyprus, however, both London and Washington refused to clarify whether the American C-130J was carrying -130 weapons for Tel Aviv.
▪️Incirlik Air Base is used for surveillance and reconnaissance in the interests of Israeli aviation; it is at this base that four MQ-9A and two MQ-1S UAVs are locate.

Here is a song from Andalusia 🎵

Lisan Al-Din Ibn Al-Khatib was a Muslim Andalusian polymath poet, writer, historian, philosopher, physician, and politician from Emirate of Granada. Some of his poems decorate the walls of the palace of Alhambra in Granada. He is known for composing the muwashah entitled “Jadaka al-Ghaithu” and “Lamma Bada Yatathanna.”
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_al-Khatib

    “Jadaka Al-Ghaithu”
    (a translation)
    By the one who intoxicates
    with the sweetness of pain
every cup you drink becomes sweet,
and the one who sweetens your eyelids with magic
I bow before him and draw near,
    and he is the one
    who drives away my tears

Put your right hand on my chest
Oh, it will extinguish the flames
    of the nights concealed passions
    without the light of sun
    in darkness of deception

The star of the cup tilted
    as it fell,
his passion was straight in his path,
when sleep was pleasant, as dawn came
like the attack of the guardians
    or meteors attacking us perhaps

The stars vanished, taking us with them,
or maybe influence of Narcissus’ affected us
    with that which intoxicates
    in all the sweetness of
    the flame…

Every cup you drink is loved
and so is the one who painted your eyelids
Magic prostrates before him and approaches,
the one who made my tears flow

I turned away for no reason,
when you put your right hand on my chest,
only water is better at extinguishing the flames

O you, who are familiar to me
my heart is your home, your very existence.
the wide world has become confined
As my chest gets heavy with longing

    The one with deep wide
    black eyes
    and whose lips are delicious
He has settled inside of me like my breath
he threw the arrow towards me
and his fierce arrow hits my heart directly
I became deaf when it shot at my heart
it was the dart of the predator

It was he who roamed in the field of the soul
and whose arrival was nothing but a dream in the desert
or was it the stealth of the embezzler.
