ParticipantGigliola Cinquetti sings ‘Giovane vecchio cuore‘
Young old heart
Maybe I’ll end up like this
a woman alone in a restaurant
me, who have loved few and known so many
that even now my memory breaks
and my heart stops too
thinking about how good of a scent
is a skin that smells goodMaybe I’ll end up like this
but I can’t know for sure
maybe I’ll end up like thisMaybe I’ll end up like this
or maybe I won’t even have time to age
just to almost forget
what I was looking for
maybe it was something beautiful
that left in an hour
and it’s strange, really strange to say this now
while I’m still searching for itMaybe I’ll end up like this
but I can’t know for sure
maybe I’ll end up like thisI am facing it, the time
that moves quick on the outside and slowly within me
despite all the damages it has caused
it couldn’t take away my smile
it couldn’t choose in my steadIf it lay its hands on me
it did it painlessly
I understand you and I won’t betray you
poor silly young old heartI hide you deep inside of me
poor silly young old heart
’cause when I won’t be here anymore
crumpling these clothes
I’ll be gone like this
like I’m still seventeenMaybe I’ll end up like this
sitting on a step of the stairs, resting
as always thinking to myself
that it all was rigged and that’s not fair
and with which funny flip will I know
if it has been a journey or just a trip?
But until then I’ll be there
because there’s lifeMaybe I’ll end up like this
but I can’t know for sure
maybe I’ll end up like this
so then, let’s wait and seeNico Cost
ParticipantI think Iran exactly knows what it’s doing towards the possible scenarios worked out with Russia and China within BRICS+. No matter what the U.S. does, the outcome will be the same sooner or later.

ParticipantThe Same Moonlight
When did my childhood friends leave far from me?
When did the people close to me become unfamiliar?
The squeeze of the crowd widened our distance
A deserted land
Quietly weeps into the night.Pray tell, pray tell,
Did we change the world,
or did the world change me and you?
Pray tell, pray tell,
Did we change the world,
or did the world change me and you?The same moonlight still shines on Xindian Creek
The same winter still falls with ice-cold rain
The same dust still collects in the wind
The same smiles, the same tears.
The same days, the same you and me.
The same smiles, the same tears.
The same days, the same you and me.When did the frogs’ croaking and cicadas’ chirping become a memory?
When did our hometowns become this crowded?
High rise buildings tower all over
Rainbows of neon have tarnished the night skyPray tell, pray tell
Did we change the world,
or did the world change me and you?
Pray tell, pray tell,
Did we change the world,
or did the world change me and you?The same smiles, the same tears.
The same days, the same you and me.
The same smiles, the same tears.
The same days, the same you and me.
The same smiles, the same tears.
The same days, the same you and me.Nico Cost

ParticipantWe write stuff for ourselves and maybe, just maybe, someone else can benefit from it too. What works for you (and me) doesn’t have to work for others. Diversity rules the world. Even if Jesus would revisit Earth, many would just walk past him and don’t want to listen. And every truth on Earth is only true for some time. Keep up the good work.

ParticipantI suppose Russia can provide the Houtis with information so that their missiles can sink those aircraft carriers. What is the problem?

ParticipantKensington performs “Sorry”
“Sorry for the road that I won’t take
For the words that I won’t say
For the love that I won’t giveSorry for the heart that I won’t show
For the lengths that I won’t go
For the life that you won’t liveSorry that I opened up my arms
You would never reach in time
Before they closed againYou will forget
And I won’t remember it
When all I ever did was race in circles
You will forget
And all there’s left will be
A faded memory
A dream you woke up fromSorry for the oath that I won’t take
For the vows that I will break
For the role that I won’t playSorry that I’m raising up my walls
And whenever you reached over
You are thrown back to the startYou will forget
And I won’t remember it
When all I ever did was race in circles
You will forget
And all there’s left will be
A faded memory
A dream you woke up fromThe colour I would bring to ending up again
Opening darkness I wanted to hold you back from
From the colour I would bring to ending up again
Opening darkness I wanted to hold you backYou will forget
And I won’t remember it
When all I ever did was race in circles
You will forget
And all there’s left will be
A faded memory
A dream you woke up from”(Personal note: It’s such a pity that frontman Eloi Youssef left the Kensington band in 2022.)

ParticipantLucia Popp sings Rusalka (Song to the Moon)
By the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák
Song to the Moon
O, moon, up in the deep sky,
Your light sees distant places,
You travel round the wide world,
You look into people’s houses.
You travel round the wide world,
You look into people’s houses.O, moon, stay for a moment,
Tell me, o, tell me where is my love!
O, moon, stay for a moment,
Tell me, o, tell me where is my love!Tell him please, silver moon in the sky,
That I embrace him,
That he should for at least a while,
Remember his dreams!
That he should for at least a while,
Remember his dreams!Light up his distant place,
Tell him, oh, tell him who waits here!
Light up his distant place,
Tell him, oh, tell him who waits here!If he dreams of me,
May this memory waken him!O, moon, don’t disappear,
Don’t go !March 15, 2025 at 03:15 in reply to: The Cornucopia – Art, Music, Poems, Creative Stories, Myth, & Glory, 6.03.25 #53760Nico Cost
ParticipantYou’re welcome Siljan and thank you for this music. It must have been a special experience for all those people in the Arena of Verona.

ParticipantKatie Melua sings “I will be there”
“She is like the lady down the road
Or just the woman up the street
Like any mother you may know
To me, she is the one who had it planned
To lead us all to Wonderland
She always wanted us to goAnd she said
Don’t ever be lonely
Remember, I’ll always care
Wherever you may be
Remember I will be thereAnd like another lady that we know
She has a smile so bright and sweet
And hair as white as driven snow
Though life is never easy day to day
She has a very special way
To make us smile when we are lowAnd she says
Don’t ever be lonely
Remember, I’ll always care
Wherever you may be
Remember I will be thereDon’t ever be lonely
Remember, I will be there
I will be there
I will be there”Nico Cost
ParticipantInteresting scenario at 7:35. At the same time, there is now an awful lot of talk about negotiations and we actually have to wait and see how Russia will play it. What I wonder with so many interviews and which are often repetitive is whether it contributes anything substantially to awareness or whether it is just about generating income. I don’t mind the latter, but I actually always prefer to look for awareness.
