ParticipantHello friends being new here i was not aware that Amarynth was not posting of late. I recall that she is bereaved of her late partner is that right? from personal experience grief takes a very long time to process and while geopolitics can be a useful distraction sometimes its just so painful as to make everything worse. You can get into a space where nothing matters anymore. But then she was also not well recently as far as I could tell, so it might be some sudden illness that landed her in hospital.

As if American troops are just sitting innocently on bases in countries that are not called America. There was no mention of what the US is doing in Jordan, Iran and Syria. Except the lie that they are there as bait. Mostly they are there to steal and guard oil and more recently to help Israel with the genocide.

Off topic but I wonder why Britain is still called a kingdom? in fact many (all?) of the countries with extant monarchies are still called kingdoms. In these heady days of politically correct language and cancel culture, how do these modern liberal democracies miss such a glaring inconsistency.

The core is always the same: unaccountable lust for Power and Money, its really not complicated. Wrathful deities exist in all polytheistic religions, of course they do, how else to explain the difficulties of life?
Perhaps Moloch had such a context way back when in a broader pantheon of gods. I don’t know and am not much interested. Now days such devil worshipping stereotypes are used to spook monotheistic Christians and it obviously works. I think most Christians never consider that they also worship the devil as a Deity, by the fact of how much time and attention they give him even in many Sunday sermons, food for thought 🙂IMO Medvedev is a stirrer and is happy to use any imagery, he is not meant to be taken strictly literally, however he is always painting a picture of generalised western decadence and “godlessness” that is quite true.
