Iraq has urged its oil buyers to resume shipments after the country’s access to the Strait of Hormuz is restored, Bloomberg reports.
“Iraq has told Asian traders and refiners that they can load Iraqi crude as ships carrying oil from that country can now pass through the Strait of Hormuz,” the agency reported.
As the agency notes, in a notice sent out on Sunday, Iraqi state-owned SOMO requested buyers to provide desired shipment schedules and emphasized that all loading terminals, including those in Basra, are fully operational.

5 hours agoBig, bad day – Air craft destruction, loss of pilots – Lot’s of distraction takes us away from the real issue that this war is on behalf of Israel who wants Iran decimated and to allow Israel to become the big guy in the Middle East. Greater Israel. This is the real reason US has now let the GCC be destroyed and we will lose the petro dollars from this region that have shored our economy up forestalling the collapse til another day. The collapse will now happen, is happening. How will the US continue to support Israel militarily – it won’t cause we will not be able to afford it.
Read the novel by Lawrence Wright published in 2023 entitled ‘The Human Stain’ a story that illustrates how Israel has degraded over the years into an evil fanatical fundamentalist country – we would never have attacked Iran if not coerced by the Israeli agenda – the Iranians had no nuclear weapon but Israel wanted them destroyed to ensure the rise of greater Israel. The novel is recommended because it will inform YOU of exactly what we are dealing with with – the Israeli’s are an evil fundamentalist fanatical country who will kill and maim at will until they are stopped.
