I have been cognizant of this since Bush-Cheney Admin due to heated discussions with son-in-law (a loyal listener to the NPR propaganda) who back in the late 80s  refused to believe the US could lose the Reserve currency… I tired of trying to reason with him. 😉

My country has abused this privilege it has enjoyed for more than 50 years (since 1944) … instead it opted to evolve into a Mafia … and bully the ROW .  Nothing lasts forever.
