โก๏ธToday marks the 1st month since the start of Operations against Israel by armed Palestinian factions, so here are some numbers.This is by far the worst outbreak of violence in terms of casualty numbers, in one month, over 10,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip, compared to around 1,500 Israelis (according to official data)
This is comparatively much, much worse compared to the Second Intifada which occurred between the years of 2000 and 2005, and the First Intifada, which occurred between 1987 and 1993, combined, these two events only have over 6,600 dead over a time span of 11 years.
Even if you add in other events, including the war of 2014 and the 2021 Clashes, you would only end up with an additional 2,700 dead, combined, that is over 9,300 dead, still not surpassing over 1 month of brutal fighting.
The 2023 war in Gaza is objectively one of the worst conflicts the Palestinians have gone through, and are going through at the moment, and that is only the first month of the war, and Israel does not seem interested in a ceasefire.
The figures are harrowing, and remember that behind every number, there was a grown man who wished to provide for his family, or fight for his land, or a child, or a woman.

It is worth adding that after delivering the wounded to the Egyptian field hospital, ambulances were not allowed to return to the Gaza Strip.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine calls on the Arab-Islamic Summit to make decisive and bold decisions to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip.The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the joint Arab-Islamic Summit, held today in Saudi Arabia, is required to make decisive decisions to stop the genocidal crimes committed by the zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip in partnership with the U.S. administration and the Western system, away from simple statements of condemnation, denunciation, and protest. The impressive and legendary battlefield of Gaza is significantly decisive today in the course of events, and the real bet is on the battlefield.The West Bank is advancing towards more confrontation and inflammation. The enemy entity states that the situation there may force them to withdraw forces from the south and the north to face what they fear in the West Bank.
Yemen took a bold, strong, public, and official stance and sent batches of missiles and drones to the occupied Palestinian lands.
What the brothers in Yemen did had very important effects, even if we assume that the missiles and planes did not arrive.
One of the most important results of Yemen’s exceptional position is that it provided significant moral support to the Palestinian resistance fighters who seek this support.
The Yemeni threat compelled the “israeli” enemy to divert part of its air defenses from the north and south of Palestine to “Eilat.”
The Yemeni threat made the “Eilat” area unsafe, meaning more “israeli” displacement from the Gaza envelope, increasing pressure on the enemy.

Iranian President Raisi expectedly called for sanctions against Israel. Participating countries held Israel responsible for war crimes and called for an immediate stop to the shelling, but the matter went no further.ยOpinions of the Arab member countries of the Arab League are divided. What the PFLPย observed in 1969 is true to this day. The Arab reactionaries are a bulwark of US imperialism. They may condemn Israel but they will refuse to take any meaningful action because their interests are bound up with US imperialism. [the abject refused even to THREATEN them!
