“1993: The Barry R. Posen Plan for War on Russia via Zombie State Ukraine”

1993: The Barry R. Posen Plan for War on Russia via Zombie State Ukraine

“The Morgese case study is a blow-by-blow review of the US military activity in the Ukraine between 1993 and 2001, designed to set up the Ukraine for her destruction. So detailed a review, that it would swamp the layman. Accordingly, we propose another document dating from 1994, readable by the laymen amongst us, and which spells out thirty years in advance, the full-blown War Plan for a zombie Ukraine. Its author, Barry R. Posen (Rand, CFR, MIT, Woodrow Wilson Foundation).”

“For obvious reasons, only Posen’s assessment of Russian military strength is dated. The remainder of his study predicts with such ghastly exactitude both events in the Ukraine over the last 20 years and the expected, indeed hoped for, Russian response, that one readily perceives that this is no prediction, but rather a fully-formed proposal for War—”

It lays out, in great detail, in just 47 pages, the future war between Ukraine and Russia, and pretty much gets everything right. The psychological factor: “If Ukraine cannot devise a host of ways to convince its neighbors that it can find a million soldiers willing to die on any day for the sovereignty of the country, then the deterrent power of this military system will be weak.”

“Encourage the Ukrainians to Blow Up their Own Cities and Infrastructure:”
“Extensive demolitions would supplement more conventional military operations to slow the attackers’ progress, and complicate their subsequent logistics. Much of this could be organized well in advance; critical facilities can be “pre-chambered” to speed the placement of explosives. Necessary explosives can be cached close to the designated targets, under the control of local police forces or reserve military formations, as is done in Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, and even Germany. As the Ukrainians retreat into geographical areas where Ukrainians constitute a greater ethnic majority, it may prove possible to organize “stay-behind” forces to collect intelligence on the Russians and engage in partisan warfare. This too should be planned in advance.”

It does seem the full-blown military-technical operation was planned in exquisite detail, as far back as 1994.

Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “for history buffs!”

      (1) more on ancient cooling systems. These home “air conditioners” are multiple thousands of years old, and still in use. They may come in handy if the crazies succeed in deindustrializing mankind..

      (2) Are Romanians the Last Real Descendants of the Roman Empire in the Balkans? Interesting story and roots. Apparently Charles the Turd of Lil’ Britannia also claims descent from an ignoble Vampire from their Transylvania… (Vlad the Impaler?!)

      (3) The last 800 years of Sino-Russian relations. very useful review!! A true treat. Brings a lot of color to history. Originally posted by Be Well a few months ago. Col’s recent link to Carl Zha’s “Chinese century of humiliation” reminded me to finish it. It goes fast at 2.0 x speed.

Zha actually cries at 59 min over the seminal year of 1937! This strong emotion bodes well for current Sino-Russian currents. The betrayals of Khrushchev and the late Romanoff imperialism notwithstanding, Sino-Russian relations since 1919 have been quite positive, informing current comfort and trust. Was Gorbachev actually useful for once? As Soviets helped end colonialism in Africa, they also helped evict it in China and end the century of humiliation…. excellent historical recap

There sure are fine and interesting stories and ideas…and great images too! Brings smile, even against such Times.

The NY Times is sometimes a source of telegraph messages. https://archive.ph/f77tp

“Decades behind its initial schedule, the dangerous job of eliminating the world’s only remaining declared stockpile of lethal chemical munitions will be completed as soon as Friday.” Right….

Article is lengthy and rambling political rhetoric…but what does it really serve? Why put all the pretty lies and pictures in the eye of Joe Rube? Right.

“…Pentagon officials caution that chemical weapons have not been eradicated entirely. A few nations never signed the treaty, and some that did, notably Russia, appear to have retained undeclared stocks….” and of course claims Syria did it… follow check boxes in memo…

What would Isidor Stone say? No, don’t tell me…

Noting that there was mustard at Bari in W2 and a lottafellas died from exposure…and that they used even more diabolical weapons on Japan and Korea and China…and that when yerlosin’   well, then folks do some terrible stuff.

Recalling Laurel Canyon sort of things, and a “school”..which was, I think, actually lateral to MI6…somewhere in the 1960’s and out west. Things click after a lifetime…some fellas made a big ‘speriment. Interesting people though. They produced some really nutty people. Maybe that’s the function of schools, ahdunno. I split.

Evap AC along the lines of modern chillers and also along the lines of ancient ones, tend to accumulate salts. Birds tends to inoculate the pools with parasites and bacteria. In modern pumped systems there are feedback controls, chemical additives, and so on…how these tasks are done in the old ways is sometime I hope to learn.

I note that dissolved salts can form a waterproof cement lining… ! If you get things just right… Well, we know it’s doable already, that makes it easy.

The Ancient Cooling systems are great for their climate.  When we lived in the desert, we had one of these evaporative coolers (electrical) and it was fine up to a certain temperature and then it was just hot!  They’re called swamp coolers.    For us, tropics, they are not effective whatsoever as the air is moisture-laden anyways.  We have air conditioners running around the clock now because it is just hot!  If it does not rain regularly, we get baked into the earth and the cool tiles in the house are hot under my feet.   A little rain, and the earth cools down.  I’m gasping for the end of August and then we will have decent and lovely weather again.   I usually step out first thing in the mornings to get a look at what the outside looks like, and these days, first look is up to see if we have cloud cover between us and the sun.  Today, it is whispy – oh boy.

Yes, the madmen are outta gas, narrative and road for that matter. Can we hope they hang a few neocons and set most of our wrongs right? We can dream 😴😴😴

Serendipitous you mentioned Algeria! On my mind and the Russians’ too. At the recent SPIEF conference, their President was the key guest. Lavrov made a pointed remark to his Algerian counterpart about French viciousness in leaving behind mines and refusing to provide maps of locations (!!) And Algeria is expected to be one of three new BRICS members, perhaps next month?? Even the shot kid being used as excuse to detonate France is a third generation Algerian iirc.

Now the Russian Ministry of FA had this message today:

(click on TG link to see Che Guevara in Algiers)

Do you understand why the French are so despised in former French African colonies? This was typical behavior.. the spiteful Brits weren’t only ones poisoning wells on way out. And as between India & Russia or China & Russia, it also informs why Algerians and Russians remain all-weather friends to this day. The victory over French imperialism by the Algerians was a landmark world event, inspiring decolonization in rest of Africa and worldwide. Pontecorvo was brilliant in giving us the visual and emotional time capsule.

This is why the West hates Algeria and denigrates its expats in France, eventhough as the Colonel correctly notes, it’s a USUK operation to torch Europe and spread the flames from France. Macron, even in his waffling and inadequacy, is on the right trail by wanting to shut down USUK social media… The French know! They used the same social media tools in Africa and West Asia to fan the flames of social unrest, lol!

So it begs the question, if they do not activate this minimum precaution of shutting the instrumentalized parts of the internet (even practiced by Russia yesterday) as seen in many countries under western coups attempts such as Iran, Senegal, Kazakhstan, etc.. — are the French authorities complicit and part of the demolition job??

Speaking metaphysically, reaction processes based on molecular reagents require that the reagent molecules come apart (at least a little) in order to find their new places and recombine. In nuclear detonation neutrons are present as a gas (!) (wholelotta psi too)… so? Similar in political “metal”, if it can’t deform, it breaks and reassembles different shape. Heating solution…or jus’ a smigeon of this salt… and le presto! Calling Doctor David Collum…

      Speaking of pressure…

Of course French authorities are, but probably not well coordinated. Individual bureaucratic units find new stasis. Takes time. Loyalties become fluid. Plastic process, snap crackle pop…ahhhh! “And think, Comrades, of our pensions!” Incentives can be important.

Failure to make and keep accurate maps of minefields is a specific war crime. It is a continuing war crime as each kid or farmer or goat is maimed. This ongoing process, and the memories, keep ill-will alive for a very long time. Long time. My son has the correct law text, otherwise I’d cite it. He’s bad about borrowing my books…but it’s ok..I did worse.

Control may be expensive and even trigger more metastasis, but sure, net switch condition “off”? Inevitable, imho.

I do not really see that tinder and method and military junta outcome is not also present in latent form in all of westzone…

During Algerian War we knew very little, but the kid I knew was a crude racist about his African brothers…really offensive. And we held for the Algerians…after all, they were willing to fight for it, who were we to criticize? I had family that felt differently. In America then we were provincial in spirit, we thought. And the world seemed rather innocent, or at least we could pretend so. Recalling Kennedy @ American University speech… Before the coups… We were and remain abolitionist. European Frogs belong in Europe.

      No. It’s necessary.

Flotsam from the Maelstrom – “A return to Simplicity”

      (1) The Black Forest spreads to cover all of Germany. As crazed post-truth and neoliberal Germans busy torching themselves and make their country a no-go zone, they prepare to return to that part of their proud history as scavengers, foragers, and raiders of the central dim forests of Europa…

      (2) Russia preps its Great Firewall. A great bifurcation of the internet cometh. The Imperial Deep State will soon unleash a global Cyber Polygon (the WEF’s cyber pandemic)… Will VPN even work in such environments? As sad as may be, it is necessary for “informational hygiene” until the dastardly Hegemon finishes croaking.

      (3) Poignant comparison of Russians’ acceptance of reality & suffering in this life vis-a-vis western group fragility and escapism and denial of it, leading to bottomless humiliation. (only 11 min @ 2.0 x speed) It may not be all due to wealth and false sense of security as she says. West is a traumatized society. Abused even in utero… placed under the nanny care of Tyranny from cradle to grave. marinated in Lies and full-spectrum Narrative and hopelessly stuck in hall of mirrors. The ongoing implosion and collapse has positive aspects – it deconstructs and blows open the Narrative, and from the ashes permits a more honest and hopeful future…

The deeper unasked question is WHY. All societies face trauma to a degree… why the West took this response? I am reminded of that young Cossack medic recently posted on main site. He volunteered at once for terrible war. His wife was pregnant and essentially alone with another young! But the courage, acceptance of duty/sacrifice/suffering even at such a young age. Russians have something few others appear to have worldwide…

Leonid Slutsky, leading Duma member indicated Z-NPP terrorism remains on the table and is the Comedian’s last card before Vilnius. (Original TG post)

The Comedian is traveling outside the Ukraine. Bulgaria yesterday, Czechia today, Türkiye tomorrow.. a convenient itinerary taking him out of retaliatory reach in these last bitter days leading to the NATO dirge in Vilnius… is it too early to celebrate the saving of Z-NPP?

The issue is NATO lacks conventional wherewithal even if they blow it up. There is no win scenario even if they overcome the stout Russian defense of Z-NPP… Are they prepared to go nuclear?? It feels like another futile demented bluff — “don’t blow us all up Russia, when we launch tactical nukes in ‘retaliation’ for your blowing up your own NPP. Let us declare a victory and move on to China!”

One can see the Russian rage and determination building against these absolutely inadequate degenerates. Karaganov’s two musing letters may become quite quaint and best-case scenarios the way events are unfolding

They will bring Ukraine into NATO in a few days. If the Brits can’t swing their preferred terrorism at the Z-NPP, this is Plan B. Rules mean nothing to the Exceptionals. Indeed the Liar-in-Chief messaged it was coming last week when he said the Ukraine couldn’t get into NATO, just after Stoltenberg had left DC. Whatever he says is the satanic reverse of planned mischief. And to give Eurovassals a sense of false security, before he yanks the rug from under them again. Erdogan is now mumbling something about Ukies deserving to get into NATO too…

This dares Russia. The entire SMO was launched in great part to push back NATO and block the Ukraine’s accession. Medvedev’s already responded today.

In a way it’s a clever move by the down-and-out weaker party, without any palatable option whatsoever. They cannot retreat, or they lose Empire. Advancing conventionally is futile. Russia’s dug into nigh impregnable defenses, with time, manpower, logistics, and industrial warfare advantages.

This is a passive move to force Russia to come forward in offense and hopefully violate NATO borders in anger. Macgregor’s almost frantic at the delay! Will they? Highly unlikely. Rather they should invite NATO further into the Ukie killing fields. Has a General Staff ever devised as diabolical a plan as the one currently luring all little globonazi mice into the grinder??

So the new narrative’s being set. And the Liar-in-Chief and his Seven Dwarves in Vilnius present a juicy False Flag opportunity.. a tidy way to deal with him before primary season too.

Vilnius, once a constituent of the USSR:

      • 30 km to Belarus border (!!!)
      • 160 km to Kaliningrad, closest Russian border
      • 300 km to Ukraine border
      • 650 km to St. Petersburg, Russia

What a site for perhaps the last NATO conference! To hold their wake at this location is itself a provocation. This is not merely sitting in the face of the Bear, but setting up camp inside his jaws on top of one of his inflamed tonsils. The crazed pine to be put outta their misery

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan decided to transfer the commanders of Azov (a terrorist group banned in Russia – ed.) to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. As previously agreed, these people were to remain in Turkey until the end of the armed conflict. Among the transferred commanders are Denis Prokopenko, Svyatoslav Palamar, Sergei Volynsky, Oleg Khomenko and Denis Shlega.

Erdogan, contrary to the agreements, did not comment on his decision to return the commanders. Despite the absence of official statements, the situation forces us to reconsider the assessment of Turkey’s position in relations with Russia and in relation to the current conflict. Apparently, it is becoming increasingly difficult to argue that Turkey is clearly supporting the Russian side.

Dmitry Peskov commented on Turkey’s transfer of the Nazis “Azov” to Ukraine in violation of agreements with the Russian Federation:
“In the context of preparations for the NATO summit, Turkey was under great pressure, and Ankara, as a member of the alliance, shows solidarity with him, the Russian Federation understands everything very well.
The decision to extradite the leaders of “Azov” to Kiev in violation of the agreements is directly related to the failures in the counteroffensive of Ukraine.
And Turkey itself, of course, in this way, being a member of NATO, shows its solidarity with the alliance. We are well aware of this,” Peskov said.

Peskov really should have been retired to the farm many years ago. He is serially incompetent. He makes it sound as if this betrayal is OK with the Russians. In fact, it is worse betrayal than Minsk. Russians aren’t amused with Turks at all. This latest flagrant violation of a signed agreement with a NATO state will affect the course of the war and the mechanisms under which it is concluded…

After the start of the SMO,Roman Abramovich played an important role in organizing and conducting negotiations with the Ukrainian side in the summer of 2022. The release of the Azov commanders could not have happened without the direct participation of Abramovich.

“Abramovich’s actions have previously caused significant damage to Russia, both in the political and image sense, and in the perception of what is happening around the events on the fields and on the battlefronts by our citizens in general. And, of course, the fact that this resulted in additional losses in battles” – Timur Shafir.

The Empire of Lies and Illusions is detail oriented and does due diligence. Even during defeat it works to split the enemy camp.

            • So gathering the non Rus-China BRICS members at Copenhagen to give semblance of fracture within BRICS.
            • So pushing the compromised Brazilians and South Africans into launching unwanted “peace initiatives” (capitulation  of Russians, unobtainable in the field)
            • So sending the fawning Blinkie and thrice-bowing Yellen to sow doubts and to try to put unease into Sino-Russian relations — are the Yanks slowing down dedollarization and new currency-creation?
            • So the IMF accepts Yuan & SDRs from Argentina to pay its debt… anything to stay relevant and give incentive for current debtors to stay within the western orbit. And it causes other players to question China’s role in all this! Is it running with the hare and hunting with the hounds?? Anything to raise doubts, doubts, doubts..
            • So blackmailing the Sultan into this doubly dastardly move of freeing nazi prisoners to trouble Russo-Turkish relations.

Too bad these ploys are so time worn as not to fool anyone. Indeed, the self-humiliation of those who host and attend meetings with the hopeless Iagos helps drive them further away from Unipolarity.. and will give Russia a larger share of running the new post-West order. And it only increases the pleasure of Russians royally shafting the Losers in every domain.

Today, keep a little container of salt next to you and lick with salt anything strange.

We gotto wait a bit.  The only sure thing is a rocket to Kerch and that was reported by the local government – but no reports of what ..

Medvedev is  playing the flute –

If the attempt to attack the Smolensk (Desnogorsk) nuclear power plant by NATO missiles is confirmed …

He does not say there was one .. He is saying … In the event of …

Lots of smoke and mirrors today – it is a slow news day – people are making their news.

That little Mevedev speech is being twisted around something fierce – everyone is reading their own wishful thinking.  The direct translation ….

If an attempted attack by NATO missiles is confirmed

Anyway the one thing that looks correct, is that India is pulling out of a BRICS Currency.  Note, I have not seen this anywhere else.  So far, it is a one-source report and oh boy .. we cannot believe what we see, and also what we don’t see.

India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar said in a press conference on Monday that India has no plans for a BRICS currency. The minister made the big declaration a month before the summit hinting that India might back out from creating the new currency.

This Smolensk attempt likely occured and likely used NATO missiles since Ukies are down to NATO long range hardware. It occured on same day as another long range missile attempt on the Kerch bridge, and in which they admitted having done the successful strike last year…

      The breathtaking terrorism being attempted!

Medvedev is being coy. However why even mention it, if not tried? Thank God it was unsuccessful, being on the approach to Moscow, the best guarded bubble on Earth. And the severe retaliation he promises gives it away, that this is a deliberate attempt.

Note he is more measured than Karaganov, saying EAST Europe.. a wise measured step, useful in splitting NATO even quicker. And the Poles, Czechoslovakians, Romanians, etc will hear the warning… at this point, remaining inside NATO supporting the Ukies alongside the crazed USUK is a suicide pact.

He is serving notice that poisoning Russia on way out, even at hands of dying nazi proxies, will have repercussions in Europe. And this is the least he could do…..

N.B. that the Ukies were forced to admit “full ownership” of the Kerch strike from last year is another indication they tried to hit the Smolensk NPP. The cowardly USUK wish to wipe their hands off complicity, like they transferred blame for Nordstreams to Ukies. And they want the remote controlled proxy to have full ownership of the ongoing work of nuclear terrorism, both to avoid retaliation, and shaming in the world’s eyes

Since all the NATO Wunderwaffe have come to naught in the Ukraine steppes, it has been decided that cluster munitions and dirty bombs will now be used to destroy what is left off the breadbasket of Europe. The collective West has no hesitation or compunction in the use of all available means in order to pacify Russia.

Most of the NATO members from Europe have signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions treaty to ban the use of cluster bombs, it outlaws the use or stockpiling of these weapons due to their indiscriminate effect on civilian populations.

The US has used such cluster munitions against Afghanistan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Cambodia, Grenada, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lao PDR, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Vietnam, Yugoslavia (Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia), Yemen, and other countries.

      An interesting article:

Cluster Bomb Strategy Will Be Cluster-f*** for Ukraine and NATO

      According to Older than Edda:
“The bulk of cluster munitions that can be delivered will inevitably be 105 and 155 mm artillery shells and MLRS and GMLRS rockets for multiple launch rocket systems. For the purposes of this war, their stocks can be considered practically unlimited – several million shells with hundreds of millions of DPICM submunitions produced during the Cold War. DPICM submunitions weigh about 300 grams, the 155-mm M483 projectile of the 1975 model can throw 88 such ammunition for 17 km, and the more modern M864 for 30 km. Dual-purpose ammunition – cumulative-fragmentation, in the explosion inflict damage with fragments, and when it hits light armored vehicles, they can pierce the roof.

The main danger is a high percentage of failures, in old products sometimes amounting to a third of submunitions. That is, each artillery shelling with such shells will leave behind a full-fledged anti-personnel minefield, in addition, without delineated borders and with an unknown number of mines. And this danger will have to be dealt with for many years after the guns are silenced.”

Erdogan, like his Muslim Brotherhood secret society ilk, has no honor. It is the worst form of hypocrisy to publicly break your solemn word. And such ingratitude to backstab Russians after how they saved his worthless life and so many other concessions and lifelines given.

Even if there were secret arrangements, which I suspect happened inspite of protestations he didn’t consult the Russians, it lowers the dignity of the Russian state. Perhaps Russians allowed it, to give that dying NATO an optical fig leaf heading into Vilnius, rather than a NPP or other regrettable British terrorism.. Permiting nazi prisoners to prance in Lvov is easier to take, and more responsible, than the irradiation of Russian soil requiring retaliation.

And those nazis have now foolishly come closer as dead men walking in a land at war. Their mien sure changed once they left the Turkish beaches for Uncle Surovikin’s tender mercies, lol. And was that a side benefit too, from the corrupt and fealty-less Sultan — to send unwanted guests to their death, like how he is busy culling ISIS in Idlib too, also at Russian hands, whether in Syria or the Ukraine??

Nevertheless, cold revenge will be served to the dastardly Turks. Their future is bleak. Not only will Russia soon control much of the Black Sea coasts, their Anglo liege lords of the last three centuries are being buried. And they have implacably hostile Slavs and Orthodox to the NW and angry Arabs to the South… They really are the odd men out in their region. They will suffer similar sociocultural and economic strangulation as the West…

What are the odds Mr P, that the Russian MoD told a small fib?? It wasn’t S-200s missiles that were sent, but Storm Shadows and other western gadgets?? Perhaps less emotional decisions were made after Medvedev to deconflict and not apportion the true culprit? Give the demonic sods a way out?

The maximum range of updated S-200s appears 300km. The closest distance from the Ukie border to Kaluga is about 290km… but they would likely be launched further back in safer environs.. Smolensk is also about 290km in NW direction. And these are old and slower missiles, developed in the 1960s. The faster and lower skimming Storm Shadows, custom-built for offensive purposes, would have a better chance, no? S-200s may not even be able to reach either target.

Kaluga is even closer than Smolensk.. only 160km from Moscow as crow flies. Its name is apt for the sinking West: “the name comes from Old Russian kaluga – “bog, quagmire”.”

This is an area so rich in History. In 1812, the Old Kaluga Highway from Moscow “… offered Napoleon his favored escape route from the Moscow trap in the fall of 1812. But General Kutuzov repelled Napoleon’s advances in this direction and forced the retreating French army onto the old Smolensk road, previously devastated by the French during their invasion of Russia…
…In 1944, the Soviet Government used its local military buildings to intern hundreds of Polish prisoners of war — soldiers of the Polish underground Home Army — whom the advancing Soviet front had arrested in the area around Vilnius.”

Every move, within or without Russia proper, is zugzwang. So why hold out? What gives Medvedev the fixation on the nuclear lately? Have decisions been made on the evil side too? Is it only Old Sleepy Joe?

Apology…it happened that I went walkabout, limping a little! All’s well. Garden’s quite pretty.

Medvedev and the fellas evident occupation with possibility of atomic funny business> Kostas Tispis in (yeah flaky even then) Scientific American (circa 1977 or so wrote (or was quoted in important aspects) to effect. Speaking of “footprints” of ruin I recall vaguely quote from esteemed boffin: “Worst possible effect of an atomic attack results from detonation on containment of operating NPS.” Core and waste storage vaporized in summer breezes…oh how jolly! Article had handy maps too. Note, these fellas all get paychecks…and bark like trained seals. Do not look for altruistic motives, or honesty, count the change.

Worst is understatement. It may be a small risk, but with an unimaginable very bad possibility. Proportionate anticipation makes sense to me. Again, placing coward pols and financiers in crosshairs may be a rational and practical method of teaching the FA>FO mechanism of discovery on these unfortunate and foolish delusionalists.

SciAm search was not productive. Need Readers Guide to Periodical Literature… Later maybe ride bike to Anoxia Library… we’ll see.

Explosive machines are very interesting to read about and understand. On paper. My take on the risk…it’s real. The nazis are nazis, after all.

To get it right it takes a major size bomb right in the containment, imho, as in punch through and then bang. No one says that more than one gadget is not realistic. Nor that more than one target may be attacked at a time. It could kill Russia as a major State, I think…and do that in a moment. Naturally the secondary after-effects might be other than desired by nazis.

      …………………..

Speaking of nazis and the money and the design > “operation pike” adds context to Groves’ “the bomb is for Russia”. The occult threads of the Big W2 conspiracy do, probably, lie unpublished, in diaries and dusty back shelves…it’s been about Russia since they “invented” horses…. (and actually they sorta did! on Monday as he was leaving for Vilnius, Erdogan told reporters:

“Türkiye has been waiting at the door of the European Union for over 50 years now, and almost all of the NATO member countries are now members of the European Union…. Come and open the way for Türkiye’s membership in the European Union. When you pave the way for Türkiye, we’ll pave the way for Sweden as we did for Finland.”

+ Stoltenberg denied Erdogan’s agreement for Swedish acceptance to NATO was tied to any quid pro quo on his EU membership.

OK. So this appears a done deal for Erdogan, eh?? Clever move by Empire. As they gave India EVERYTHING they wanted in terms of technology transfer, and the full courtship pageantry.. so the vanity of Turks was stroked. Both are amongst cradles of civilization. The Nile provided among the longest lasting and stable empires, in the Early Times of History.

The Euphrates features prominently in the End Times. It currently forms the front between the occupying Hegemon & the Syrian-Russian-Iranian alliance. Most of the world’s key hydrocarbons are buried in its mouth, divvied up between Iraq, Iran & the GCC Oil-Sheikhs. The region of the Euphrates undergirds the Petrodollar currency regime, over which the Last Hegemon will bitterly fight to the last, thereby triggering Armageddon.

The transcript may make for faster reading, but it leaves out a lot that makes Alexander special. His inflexion points and emphases, pregnant pauses he uses a lot to speak volumes – sometimes to find the words to get around censors but often to convey something the overton window does not permit him. And he’s a lawyer, and knows to say the truth but that all too often the truth should not be said by a public personality in his fallen society…

And I already miss too much by skipping videos. He has expressive eyebrow movements and faces he uses to embellish!

A rather varied and rich lecture with historical snippets ensues each night! Such cannot be done justice by a transcript…. Perhaps the ideal compromise would be a 2.5-3x speed. Is that available anyone?? My phone only goes to 2x speed, like YouTube. iirc Rumble goes to 4x but that is excessive and unintelligible, even for the slow and ponderous Alexander.

I agree about subs and SLOCs. The Pirates will use them…. Maybe that was on the itinerary of Lavrov and Wang Yi @ ASEAN today?? The Malacca Straits is in the heart of ASEAN. But when the criminals start those sea shenanigans, it will truly be Game Over for them. Not only are they out-numbered, the entire Afro-Asian coasts are being marshalled against them. Russians keep sending satellites up, and the Chinese plan 40,000 satellite starlink (!!) too. They will inaugurate a hunting season, with the Sea Pirates the game…. and they will be beaten back to CONUS, sea cables cut, eyes blind in the sky, out of lily-pads, no supply chains open on the seas – only what they can produce locally. It will be really ugly for a while, until there is the necessary change of elites.

Von der Leyen expressed admiration for the speed with which Kiev is striving to join the European Union :
“We can see the enthusiasm and intensity with which Ukraine is implementing reforms and rapidly moving towards EU membership. I firmly believe that if Kiev continues in this spirit, it will soon succeed.”

Maria Zakharova, in turn, was ironic :
“Citizens, Ukrainians, drink the sea !
The way you are currently drinking the sea is beautiful and amazing. We are sure that you are rapidly moving towards your cherished goal. As soon as you finish your drink, it means that you have achieved success.”

When Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba did not understand what conditions were put forward for Ukraine to join NATO.
Maria Zakharova helped the Ukrainian diplomat understand such a complicated issue :
“Silly, you need to learn the rules before the game starts, not after,”
“This is the ‘rules-based world order’ invented by Westerners. Those who are smarter do not participate in it because there are no rules. They are invented on the go and changed if the game does not bring the desired result. The alternative is international law, which is supported by the majority of sane people, ” she added.

Sudhi, the Ritter video was an amazing find. 👍🏼🙏🏼 I had to slow it down from my usual fast speed to savor it. What professional production value! Where did he get the money or time or knowledge to connect so many crucial dots?! I am not saying it’s dishonest at all. I agree with what is apparent, and it’s consistent with the track record. And Scott’s sincere. But desperate times sure breed strange alliances.

Yes dear emerson, the waiting quiet is most nerve racking. I’ve read soldiers, used to spending much of their lives in watchful stasis, or simply on standby, handle it best. They handle boredom better. Perhaps they mind it the least, since the alternative is dreadful! They are the ones doing the dying, (“..into the jaws of Death, into the mouth of hell..”) the blunt ends of the instrument.

And yes, the pressure is built beyond the aching now! It would have been prudent to let some of it before this. In many regards, Putin’s cadre is too civilized and methodical. Once one gets the read on human devils, and I reckon they got the read by at least Yeltsin’s stolen 1996 election, it only ends one way….

Larch, thanks for your explanation! Sorry for the misunderstanding. I always appreciate your PoV, even when in disagreement. In this case, we’re in full agreement. One cannot negotiate nor reason with madmen offering you only two options every step of the way, “submit or die.” This is the essence of their dialogue with both Russians and mankind.

      G’mornin’ Friends.

Notes> Lavrov was quoted @ RT characterizing westleadercadre (so to say) as suffering form “megalomania”. Later this was edited to “delusions of grandeur” and so on. I wonder precisely what he meant…one of these conditions is considered pathological, the other merely a condition of a non-pathological and harmless or temporary nature. Gaslit, so to say, or misled….

blick>  Prigozin / Zhukov / personal weapons.  Z kept as trophies a collection of captured small arms… Until Comrade Stalin took them away. These were never returned.

Comrade Prigozin got his back. Yeah, I know, it’s not the same…still, it must make sense, but I don’t see how, yet anyway.

Thinking about FA>FO function, and as I have mentioned once, Romeo and Juliet and the gun on the wall therein – essentially “winking at discord” – led my thoughts, perhaps with NPS-Z and the destroyed dam in the background, to recall a scout expedition under the tutelage of a civil engineer…expedition to a dam failure site, and powerhouses, and several technical lectures about the failure. At that time the affair was yet in memories of vigorous people. So, if so inclined, Friends, leave aside the W3 horrors, briefly, and regard the analytical example of FA>FO so far as hubris, delusion, soils, and water mixed with the real-estate ponzi scheme running in the background. A model, in some respects, for the folly of faking it. An American disease, some might say. > withal>

Speaking of dam failures…. Comrade Medvedev (beyond brink) seem to have clarified the precise meaning of Comrade Lavrov’s words.  Pathological. How’s that a dam failure? , well, there’s a flood, right> après moi, le déluge. Evidently the decision is taken. Dam broke.

Recalling that nearly all effective strategy is indirect, and that Ruski is expert…indeed > “It will be really ugly for a while, until there is the necessary change of elites.”

I note that big conflict generally precedes big political change in the domestic arena of the participants. That’s to say that the entire purpose of the war is to shape the Peace. If it isn’t, it’s simply brigandage or racketeering.

Das Boot – the best war film, helps put in perspective the hellhole of such boats and their missions:

PS — And this after 40% of US subs are already out of commission! Your trip in the 80’s sounds wonderful!

….yes. I too think it’s not agtiprop. In fact, longlongago I knew of a small machine shop that made a particular device that had been invented by the drunken eccentric “Uncle “Bob”. Every time Luckup Industries built a sub, they bought one of these machines. Each time the bill was 5 years overdue, and “Bob’s Machine and Pump” put up a memo at the shipping desk to get a certified check. I have been  a guest aboard a diesel fleet US sub, and of course visited the museum boats. And I cotton to my navy friends… it’s all maintenance, and everything that’s happened in the US military, and civil environment, fubars maintenance. They’re calling back the retired… I think I said a long time ago that we’re in denouement… I was reading about the strategies for States that know they they shall lose. …

IIRC the ordinary submarine maintenance rotation is by thirds. 1/3 in drydock, 1/3 FA, 1/3 FO or something amusing along such lines… I wonder what 40% means…is that .4 of the boats that ought to be ready for sea?

Father once aspired to a commission in the Navy with an eye to submarines. In industrial situations sometimes the conditions are similar, deep inside giant machines and 100% dependent upon the reliability and character of others, including the guys who certified the steel 40 years ago…and air supply… I rather enjoyed the experience. Some do not.

In German Museum 1962 or so I longed to reach past the ropes and to touch U1, but then I was a disciplined boy. U1 boot

Doing Agent Z video. Nice job! Thanks!

Das Boot is oft rewatched, and it helps me with my incompetent German…which is great fun.

I don’t think the reservists call up by the sinking Degeneracy Inc is serious. More like desultory rearrangement of the Titanic deck chairs, and even more importantly, a time waster to keep Eurocrazies strapped to the gurneys as the euthanasia drips in merrily. Every one needs to dream, even of now forlorn visions of raping and pillaging Rooskies, no? So it works to assuage the demented Eurocrazies that their benevolent Uncle from beyond the Pond, albeit senile and crass and ugly, is coming to the rescue. They are being soothed like Ukronazis:

The nazis of the Fourth Reich did learn one thing from the last glorious iteration: if 3+ million stormtroopers and the most potent offensive land army to date could not cut it against the Red Army, they would not try with the Navy and Air force-heavy sea pirates openly leading the charge this time. And they know they will not be permitted to sealift sufficient forces across the Pond to make a difference.

As Smoothie reminds us, they are absolutely nuclear-biased, and this was before the gutting in the Ukraine! So it appears the demented believe they can nuke their way through the slog, their last Wunderwaffe to be unfurled. We shall see. I have a feeling this cruel summer is gonna get much hotter for Degeneracy. Enter the Dragon! The agitprop by Indian media notwithstanding, it appears serious bad news is coming their way next month in South African BRICS conference. Or maybe earlier in Africa-Russia conference in just over a week? Collapse and internal instability can certainly be hastened creatively in non kinetic ways! What peace of mind can the dastardly have if they’re fending off pitchforks and worse on every block for the foreseeable future?? Yeah, those national guard training for brutal internal controls last month were not sent for contingencies or even the mid-term.. even the blind can see a few weeks ahead…

Kiev story is very discomforting. Sometimes in a moment everything changes, but it looks almost the same. An example being an earthquake that shatters but does not knock down, or a modest explosion, or an unexpected loss of income. A broken leg… it’s happened to most people that they know this surreal category of experience. Che wrote a line or two along these lines. One moment comrade Bob is alive, next he’s not. Everything is the same, but it’s not.

Because it’s a character feature of technical people, perhaps, it’s unnatural for us to grasp how (obviously) nontechnical men see the bomb. The claim that US destroyed the last mustard gas I thought rather odd, btw…and I see claim 404 got some that did not make it to the vat.

Let us hope that Heaven does not simply look on. History suggests many Stierlitz active. Last time the result of the bomb was the soviet bomb. This time, well, the rhyme may be that this time the result is that the “soviet” bombs get used.

I have cartoon> All nazi cadre enter shelter, with dope and whores and catamites. Giant steel doors clang closed. Two USMC MPs, an Asian girl and a bearish black man stand next to bulldozer as it rumbles to further block the massive entrance. The welders are busy aloft making seal-welds a shower of sparks falls. Both raise talkie-talkies to lips. Black spy> “Привет? Товарищ президент? Да, теперь все нацисты за решеткой. Миссия выполнена!” Asian spy> 喂? 总统同志? 是的,纳粹现在都被关起来了。 任务完成了!(yandex)

Perhaps I shall draw it for The New Yorker… right!

Best wishes my Friend! We shall know all about it soon enough, hot summer? Yes, Ah reckon so.

It’s Kamala Harris, explaining for those who are not aware what exactly AI is :

“I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing. First of all, it’s two letters. It means artificial intelligence.”
“The machine is taught — and part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine — and we can predict then, if we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process.”
She continued, “So to reduce it down to its most simple point, this is part of the issue that we have here is thinking about what is going into a decision, and then whether that decision is actually legitimate and reflective of the needs and the life experiences of all the people.”

Artificial Intelligence Czar Kamala Harris proudly announced that after months of dedicated research and extensive study, she has determined what the initials A.I. stand for :

The Veep reboot looks amazing :

It’s more of Artificial Stupidity, as Mr P likes to say.

Yes, received email and am ready to go.

Did some digging through the ol’ Moveable Feast Cafe – dealing with some info overload right now.

Have got Scott’s next video to look forward to and then some other news to catch up on.

Hey, it’s weekend so I will indulge.

      Welcome dear HT!

Mr P, Mercouris yesterday had an interesting if fanciful theory about the current preferred crazies’ outcome for their Ukraine catastrophe. I am assuming, as he invariably has a good nose to the grapevine, that he correctly reads their feverish longing. He said they wish to utterly destroy it, a la Korea, call it a victory, and depart without giving Russia the satisfaction of a settlement.

This is patent nonsense. It may sway the mindwashed in the drugged and attention-challenged west, but will fool few in the 90% global majority… the ensuing fallout will be unsurvivable for the Hegemon’s worldwide reputation and fear-factor. Power, the way the fallen West has come to strut and bark loudly, requires demonstrable effectiveness. Or as Janet Jackson once sang,  “What have you done for me lately?” (Lol)

And a destroyed Ukraine would not stay destroyed for long, the way Russia works — see the glorious rise of Mariupol from the ashes! So further humiliation would soon become visible.

Their mission in the Ukraine was foolishly and clearly predefined: defeat Russia militarily, implode and “de-sovereignize” her, then dismember her. Every parameter was a failure. No amount of lipstick and whistling past the graveyard will obscure this strategic defeat. And shifting goalposts mid-game doesn’t work for the lucid in the Rest of the World.

So the maddened will keep doubling down into infinity. The only remaining question is who will obliterate them first — a faction amongst their own triggering a modern rendition of Operation Valkyrie, i.e. those wishing to survive the Sarmats and Poseidons, or the owners of the said Sarmats and Poseidons.

      Thank you dear AHH!

Just saw your post here. Re Operation Valkyrie, I think the chances of such an operation are increasing by the week.

I can’t find the video anymore, but the Guardian (not a source) had a video with the Zelenskys walking arm-in-arm, sort of, with nervous and concerned expressions on their faces. They didn’t seem to notice the cameras filming their every move, so fair to say they were caught off guard or, more likely, too worried to pay them any attention. Volodymyr was wearing his Castro, and Olena in blue. It was the day of that picture.

Vol had earlier stirred some ruckus with his comments. Then we have Val Zaluzhny “giving an interview” with WaPo, venting “his” frustrations.

In other words, the Ukies seem to have finally grasped that the rules in the rules-bs order are intangible.

They seemed genuinely perplexed and terrified at the thought that Nato might not keep to their word, lol, and save their sorry behinds.

And that is scary. What if the lower downs start to make sense of this? That US support is half-hearted, or worse waning. That they’re just fodder, to be discarded now that it’s becoming obvious, to Nato, that they’re losing.

Who are the lower downs going to take their anger out on?

Will they be allowed to fly out in their jets when the angry mobs descends? Or, Heaven forbid, the marauding “orcs” arrive?

Hungary might just not give permission to enter their airspace, you know.
