I understood that the car was from the motor pool, and parked. Not that it was carrying important person. I have seen expensive cars catch fire and burn. While those might have been machine failures, stuff does happen, I thought then that it was arson.  For the big bucks we would expect very high quality electrical design and manufacture… and at least optional fire suppression. Under the present circumstance I’d bet on arson/sabotage. As I wrote, take with salt. As to “warning”, yeah, whether it is or not, the default assumption would be that the nazis (what else are they?) are/will do their best to whack the Russian leaders, as they do to all their enemies.

MOSCOW, 1 Apr-RIA Novosti. In Moscow, an Aurus Senat with special signals was stopped, the driver of which had false documents from the Presidential Affairs Department, writes the Telegram channel Baza.

“Investigators opened a criminal case, and the car worth about 40 million rubles was seized,” the publication says.

It is noted that during the verification of documents, the man provided a certificate of registration of the car, allegedly issued in 2022, but the state authorities began using this model only from the end of 2024.

Law enforcement officers also found out that the VIN-number of the car is not in the database, while everything is fine with the license plate. And when they asked the President’s Office for information, they were informed that they did not have such a car.

As a result, the investigators opened a criminal case under the article on forgery of documents.

Here is something funny for you. I eventually took that Nima/Larry/Scott video and listened to the rest of it.

Even Nima (and you know we don’t know much about him) told Scott he did not know what he was talking about regarding Iran. Nima apparently knows Iran very well – he said so .. I am not sure how, because he did not say. So Nima usually does not interfere in the interviews .. he lets the guests talk. I laughed when even Nima tells him that he is off. The only thing that Scott eventually had right, is that if the US attacks Iran, it would be a disaster of incredible proportions and that the US will try and take out the Government of Iran. Yeah sure they will try to do that. So Scott did moderate.

But, it is still not worth listening to. That was the nicest little piece to see Nima bite!

It is very difficult to keep a flame going in supersonic fluid flow. iirc the engine (J-58) of SR71 spy plane managed to do it at M2 or so, using several tricks, platinum ignitor and little bumps on the walls called “mice”, and a really nasty auto-igniting fluid to re-light as necessary.

Injecting Mg as a powder to get continuous burn at M6 is, I think, not very practical, but it is a brilliant (no pun intended!) idea…the exhaust must be sight to see! A long brilliant, blinding white streak I expect.  However there are forms of Mg that are fluid, easier to control and pump and squirt and meter. Ahbetcha that’s what comes next after the “proof of concept” (which is what I think just happened)
