Golden Bridge, also known as the Giant Hand Bridge is located on the top of Nui Chua Mountain, Ba Na Hills, Da Nang, Vietnam.. beauty rises from the site of so much horror..Da Nang, at least twice memorable during the Vietnam War: (1) “the first official American combat troops to arrive in Vietnam landed in the coastal city of Danang [on March 8, 1965]. The 2,000 Marines had the job of protecting the nearby U.S. air base.” (2) The 29 January 1968 start of the Tet Offensive on this city led to the Great Unravelling. As Narratives failed, the crazies of that era lost American hearts & minds…

BlockedSudhi’s photo is apropos the appalling article I just read.
Karaganov, dean of Russian liberals (their equivalent of Mearsheimer) who had appeared to have a change of heart with the start of the SMO, now presents a frightening perspective advocating a nuclear attack to submit the combined West. This is going full retard, abandoning the moral ground in order to make a statement. And underlying it is lack of appreciation of the military-technical and ongoing success of the SMO.
There appears no need whatsoever for this extremist and despairing PoV — unless your unstated goal is to return to partnership with the Western elites.. that is done and dusted. And the grind of the Global-SMO and the ever accelerating western collapse will take care of the rest.
Who gave a Russia reborn as an Orthodox civilization the ungodly permission to holocaust entire European cities as a demonstration?! It runs counter to their very ethos. Only an amoral former soviet apparatchik could make this pronouncement. And it is only shades of thinking removed from neocon-land.
There will be no need to occupy Galicia and lands west of the Dnieper. Ishchenko mooted months ago of driving their hostile populations westwards, as done in prior world wars of redistribution by victors, or per Medvedev of ceding them to ancestral lands such as Poland and Hungary and letting them have the headache. So his doom and gloom appears to have driving it both lack of understanding of ongoing cauterization of the SMO which actually finishes off the West and its future potential, and secondly there will not be the endless bleeding wound of guerrilla warfare and wastage of Russian energy and focus and wealth in post-conflict stabilization.
It is simply the West which ended up coming to die on the fertile plains of the Ukraine. Their century old plotting has consumed THEM, not Russia.
Now this article is as likely scare tactics to frighten residual sane in the West to back off. And a prudent thing. They do listen carefully to whatever the old chap says.
And it expresses nervous impatience in his elite faction which wishes to settle with Eurocrazies right now, before they rearm and while Russia enjoys unparalleled advantage unseen in so long, if ever, against Europe.
Btw, he nicely describes the current toxic milieu in Europe in the paragraph above this one: “Thus, the trajectory of most Western countries clearly points towards a new fascism, which could be called “liberal” totalitarianism.” Totally agree. It was long “fascism-lite” too.
Are Russian elites ever doomed to unnecessary pessimism and underappreciation of their own weight and the true correlation of forces? How many times they snatched defeat from the jaws of Victory! Unfortunately they are all too human too, and as impatient and susceptible to whispering satans as all others.

ParticipantCan “gadgets”, be like Schrodinger’s kitty, either good or bad, but it depends? Seems to me that if Russia, the Eastern Rome, used such things willfully (ref art RT given above), they would destroy their moral foundation. In war they say one tends to become the enemy. That must be guarded against. Russia self-destructs if she becomes fascist, and falls into the devil’s trap…

BlockedExactly, if this madness is pursued it would be worse than a loss in the SMO. It would nullify everything — all the work and diplomacy of 30 years. And for what? Something unneeded, due to misinformed paranoia. And it speaks against core values — such as working to save lives painstakingly in areas civilians were used as human shields. And the promise of a just new world view at variance with the last 500 years of Might makes Right.
Putin and the General Staff know the score. And they are not merely calm, they are visibly confident and patient. This is agitprop. And foolish one! Again, when will they jettison the 5th column in RT? They have now created a paper trail of senior Russian intelligentsia broaching this extreme taboo. It can be used against Russia following a FF

ParticipantThe Collective West is funneling more and more powerful weapons to the Ukraine. After the UK, the US is now supplying depleted-uranium (DU) shells to Ukraine.
DU is a by-product of the nuclear enrichment process and is extremely dense. When used in tank shells, the material is effective because its bulk can penetrate through tank armour.
According to United Nations Environment Program, the DU’s “chemical toxicity” is the biggest danger, and “it can cause skin irritation, kidney failure and increase the risks of cancer.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced he was sending nuclear weapons to Belarus. He compared the move to NATO’s nuclear sharing program. He also said the deployment was in response to the UK providing Ukraine with depleted uranium ammunition. On the supply of DU by the UK & US, he responded that Russia too has plenty of DU and may use them in retaliation.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a visit to a Russian military base in Tajikistan, stated :
Anything can be expected from the leaders of the US and other Western countries (which Washington has completely subjugated). They are already proving this when, following advanced long-range weapons and tanks, they are now seriously preparing F-16s. They are preparing to continue to escalate the war that was unleashed against us,”
“We must keep in mind that one of the modifications of the F-16 has the capability to deliver nuclear weapons. If they do not understand this, then they are worthless as military strategists and planners.”
https://tass.com/defense/1628109
Lavrov described Russia as a “peaceful” nation, which only “wants to be left alone so that no one tries to drag us into any US-led globalist organizations and mechanisms.”F-16s are capable of carrying B61 nuclear gravity bombs, which the US stores in several European countries. Under NATO’s nuclear sharing program, there are US B61 nuclear bombs deployed in Italy, Germany, Turkey, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Thx for reminder! It’s curious the staging, timing and unfolding messaging!
- On May 20, the 31st Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy in Moscow, with both seated center (photo)
- On June 06, Lavrov warns against F16s with adapters for B61s whilst on the Kyrgyzstan base of Russia..
- On June 15, on RT op-ed Karaganov moots what he mooted about European demonstrations
A tight little package, no? Could #3 really be retaliation warned in advance for the use of #2??
So yeah, we may hate it, and it is absolutely abhorrent, but events take their course. The Diplomats Speak as they must. From wherever they have a platform. The forms must be observed. NATO has reached its decisions with the only means remaining to it; Russia sighs and muses out loud. Escalation proceeds imperceptibly…
It reminds me of a movie I was told to watch but never did, disliking that genre. And didn’t it come out the same year as Able Archer?! Anyone seen either? I’d preferred the lead actor in Ferris Bueller!
And in this movie : AI is in control, Cheyenne Mountain Complex, a war exercise, a broken failsafe, and countdowns. Who’s really in charge again of the Biden complex?? And who said 1980s movies, like music, weren’t good! And as in the movie, may we see its outcome of restored MAD.

ParticipantI read the entirety of the Karaganov. Between the author and an imaginary graduate advisor it would be a wonderful discussion. The article involves a number of tautological errors and, probably, factual errors, and certainly disputable implied and stated assumptions, as well as a logical contradiction or two. Nevertheless, faulty understandings and flawed reason often actually produce correct decisions…his conclusions may be correct, even if he’s wrong. Maybe you don’t agree…but let’s assume I’m correct.
Ok, we must assume then that the article exists and was published as rhetoric…and the purpose? what does the author want? What does the publisher(s) want? What audience(s)? Why?
Reasonable replies to such questions are not very nice. But it’s close to what seems liable to happen. First God whispers… We’ll find out, I suppose, what happens next.

For now I assume the Karaganov simply elaborates details. As such it’s mostly a telegraph message. Warning… I wonder if the ultimate design is not to encourage coups within “west”. I have the idea that a coup, though dangerous, is probably more honorable than getting fried. And they work, sometimes, too. Perhaps primary audience is western military officers. Quis Custodet… Interesting also, the editor MS…who knew the US through puberty and must have certain opinions about things. I’m of the opinion that she agrees with K’s paper. I don’t really see a Policy change. More like a display of what the implications of Policy might well become. Repetition, we might say.
Meantime, corn has come up nicely. Creeks run full. Quail running across the roads, coyote yippin’ behind roosters’ cries. Every Spring I am reminded of Shirer’s description of the beautiful Spring and Summer of 1939, as in very nice weather, things a bloomin’, snow in the Alps and his pretty gal… I shall ride my motorcycle again to-day…never know how many scooterdays might be left on the page. Since there’s no place to go, I take a big circle ’round the village, which is mostly cattle and goats and sheep, and modest wooden houses. Little bridges. People wave. Even the dogs are well-behaved. The bikes will go over a hundred, we go 30…stuff can happen. I know. Like Pirsig said, motorcycles are as close as you can get to flying without (usually) leaving the ground. Experience with motorcycle involves getting hurt, 100% for sure. It’s pricey. Motorcycle forces reality. This Quality is of the Good.
One of K’s errors? Leslie Groves, not Heaven… Now Klaus Fuchs? Stalin? Maybe they were motivated by Heaven’s hand. Otherwise USSR kaputski 1955 or sooner…and we would not be.
I’m going to look into the speeches of Wallace in the 1948 contest. Vague memories of things said about it. I believe Mother used to quote Wallace in conversation. All because ’48 decided the things we see now., imho.

I was planning to write this week about the expanding war in Ukraine and the danger it poses for the Biden Administration. I had a lot to say. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman has resigned, and her last day in office is June 30. Her departure has triggered near panic inside the State Department about the person many there fear will be chosen to replace her: Victoria Nuland. Nuland’s hawkishness on Russia and antipathy for Vladimir Putin fits perfectly with the views of President Biden. Nuland is now the undersecretary for political affairs and has been described as “runni
ng amok,” in the words of a person with direct knowledge of the situation, among the various bureaus of the State Department while Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on the road. If Sherman has a view about her potential successor, and she must, she’s unlikely ever to share it.
Biden is believed by some in the American intelligence community to be convinced that his re-election prospects depend on a victory, or some kind of satisfactory settlement, in the Ukraine war. Blinken’s rejection of the prospect of a ceasefire in Ukraine, voiced in his June 2 speech in Finland that I wrote about last week, is of a piece with this thinking.

KeymasterSmoothie wrote about the Japanese internment camps during the 2nd WW based on some utterings from a Czech. https://www.politico.eu/article/petr-pavel-russia-czech-republic-surveillance/
http://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2023/06/to-give-some-insight.html
There were German ones as well.
I got interested in this years ago and studied a bit. These internment camps were in Canada too and I visited the site of one that had been changed into a very beautiful remembrance garden. But somehow, visiting the place, I was convinced I could feel the despair. For the Japanese, even if they had US citizenship, they were still corralled into the internment camps. There were apologies made by some US Presidents for this.
Smoothie might sense some pressure here and if that is so, I would think it is something to pay attention to, given the level of sheer hatred and his specific competence, being weapons.
The Chinese educated classes from US universities are returning to China, even though they lived their whole lives in the US. The last number I saw, was around 1,000 this year alone.
War is probably the most horrible thing that the human population can take part in. The costs are everywhere!

I studied camps too. I wrote these notes last year in the Saker’s Cafe, and based on Smoothie’s fears then too. I advised Smoothie and Saker to get out. I agree with Smoothie — it’s coming. The bitter saving grace may be societal collapse and civil war before they can roll out these plans.
The nazis always seek to raise war fever and maintain internal discipline through divide-and-rule tactics. They will sacrifice a minority affiliated with the external target, no matter how successful and integral to American society (see Japanese-Americans who grew 40% of California’s fruits!), to keep the internal majority cowed and with the Program. And the current Program involves simultaneous war with Russia and China (!!) Absolute bonkers

The issue may be uncertainty of who’s in charge of the madmen… Karaganov, Medvedev, even Lukashenko now, all sound out contours of the enemy control system. Are they rational any longer? Pressure, and this is beyond the usual atmospheric level, tends to crush. Turns reasoned folks into simpering sweating frozen baboons. Are any in charge at all? The human body can twitch and maintain a semblance of activity for hours after death too — even a fixed angry glare with eyes wide open.
Have the lunatics activated “sentient A.I.?” Why wouldn’t they, all else being lost? When didn’t villains and nazis use every weapon at hand? Automate and unleash the worst most unbearable Hell, to hopefully overcome superior conventional enemies through unflinching pressure. It is brinkmanship to the nth degree.
How then does one proceed? With whom negotiate and attempt to arrest the slide into Nirvana?! Even if putative “control systems” are struck, it will not have an effect. Self-preservation may have been lost — whether ceded voluntarily to the pitiless nerveless automation, overcome due to stress in key decision makers, or a hateful suicidal cult is in charge intent on Samson Options in the face of inevitable defeat. So, are we dealing with rational actors on the western side??? That may be the current Russian sounding out, informing decision trees and their next steps.

KeymasterA bit of a story around Spief.
In one of the business programs, the idea was opened up that they followed a very different methodology for the big sessions. From way back in the psychology days I got interested, and to my greatest surprise, I recognized it straight away. I have no idea what they said, but I got the technology.
So this methodology is called Open Space Technology and it is really a lot of fun and there are no dry presentations that one has to sit through. Everyone participates – it is the biggest cafe clatch ever, with real measurable outcomes.
Back in the late 80’s early 90’s I had a decision to make. Computers for a future, or industrial psychology for a future. Industrial psychology was out, because I was expected to do things against my moral senses. Computers won but, if they did not, I would have become a deft hand at this Open Space Technology and I once even used it for a big computer class. It is hard work for facilitators because the audience or participants create their own agenda. It is a methodology that is designed to be highly participatory, inclusive, and collaborative.
So, you have this big room of people and they have a burning agenda. And you ask them to do a list of sub-items on this agenda and self-select around those sub-items and go and make new groups and storm solutions that look viable. So, you are discussing say seven sub-items with people that feel drawn to one of those, and feel they can bring value. It’s noisy, it’s a mess but at the end of the day, each group very briefly presents their solutions. Hard to manage and facilitate but you can handle big groups and people remain enthusiastic because they can work on exactly what their thing is and what they are bullish on.
That specific methodology made the larger and open Spief sessions big successes. Man, I wish I was there!
There are some values underpinning this and they are …
– Whoever comes are the right people: Since people can choose what sessions to attend there has to be trust, that the people that come are the right people. Even if a session only has two participants these two people might be exactly the right people to meet at that time to do something great together.
– Whatever happens is the only thing that could have: Open Space Technology events have an emerging character. No one can possibly predict, how things might unfold.
– Whenever it starts is the right time: Creativity moves on its own timeline independent of the meeting or event schedule.
– When it is over, it is over: Getting the work done is more important than sticking to the schedule. When a group is in the perfect flow, then they can decide to continue their discussions. Or, if they finish their topic earlier, the can also close the session and do something else instead.I have seen such groups jell so completely, that they take their topic and start working it post-conference. I’m sure we will see this flow out of Spief. People were absolutely enthusiastic.

BlockedWhat Pepe has been describing filled me with great joy. I am happy for Russia. It operated by the principle, “Build it and They will come…” And 17,000 from 150 countries came.. we see this happening Live. They get to be leader of the new multipolar world not only in commodities, gold-backed currency, diplomacy and kinetics, but in Ideas. And Ideas set all subsequent menus……
This “Open Space Technology” sounds like what I taught in the highly interactive educational curriculum workshops called “Team-Based Learning (TBL).” Dr. Larry Michaelsen created it on the fly during the oil-crunch of the 1970s when his Oklahoma faculty was dramatically downsized and only a small handful of professors remained to teach and grade a huge student load.
There is utility for these models, especially in underserved areas, with certain populations lacking self-motivation, and with older professionals brainstorming together in pleasant workshops… Some schools (pre and post-grad) converted entirely to this model. It forces pre-reading the night before the didactic (always useful), engagement, and forces teams to deal with real-world problems in the gray zone or with nuance. They do not merely enjoin enthusiasm, but ownership of topics.
Most of the time is spend in working through implications of the material – so a two-fer, rather than in mere comprehension. And what is missing in comprehension is taught by other team-members. As teams argue amongst themselves or between themselves, they learn to solve tasks and understand the topic deeper. They are not simply dumbly absorbing material in a boring lecture. And this model may be useful for all cultures, whether individualistic or highly social, in teaching cooperation and team skills..
I think some schools overdo it though, having switched over to it altogether… IMHO, each individual needs the pressure of being “under the gun” alone. After all, the final exams and many real world scenarios do not enjoy the presence of a team. Certainly, rigorous individual educational foundation needs to be already present or taught concurrently… So half and half may be a better mix. But these type of interactions (for younger naive learners) may be sadly needed for current Tik Tok and Attention-Deficited generations. It will push more to achieve their potential.
ZZzzzzzzzz……………
In six days ends the Air Defender 23, on June 23 of 2023, having used some 230 warplanes. And note the night before its scheduled end will be the anniversary of the launch of Op Barbarossa. Is 11 days sufficient for the dastardly task of our intrepid Pirates? All practiced up, and forlorn testicles tucked in Sumo-wrestler style, with the all clear on the optimal routes and approaches and desired coordinates? I suppose like certain classic Japanese warplanes attacking US naval carriers in WW2, they only need one-way fuel loads..

Excellent observations. That closes the loop. I suspected this, and was strongly hinted at by VVP with the war correspondents.. It explains the excesses permitted the Chef, and even the harsh critiques of those sitting at the table around him. It would draw the desperate West looking for any signs of implosion like fresh honey, and they would republished their work, of course since they insulted the honor of the MoD and senior Admin.. BlockedA picture of two fellas… this is no joke! Certain devils are quite long-lived, 800+ years. Some born around ww2 could be considered adolescents among themselves even. So some of same “animating actors” are likely with us through the last two world wars. And I’ve really wondered about Boris Johnson. Behind the clown is such evil wit… and he was biographer of Churchill… are we being mocked by the same abomination, now in the guise of a dunce? Consider BoJos’ centrality to this world war, how he runs the Comedian.. and Churchill’s similar role during part two of our trilogy!
I discussed this matter in Cafe before — there was a recent Hollywood movie which explicitly spelled it out — the same “Eternal” animating and moving actors, pretending to be male descendants of the same family, for centuries. And the vampire genre bespeaks this obliquely too: they’re really nocturnal devils preying on humans and moving events behind the scenes, via focus on elites to affect and ensnare as many as possible. What Truth remains in the fallen west exists in the arts.
Yes I agree Hal is premessaging. Likely a smorgasbord of training videos. And a sign of panic by his sources? Or misdirection to keep locals busy and away from alotta bad news abroad. One day these exercises go Live
And there’s method to the madness. it is like at first, a single small drone lands in Belgorod of Russia proper, then a stray shell, then missiles, then a HIMARS, then marauders, then a full suicide company of saboteurs.. The same nazi M.O. The drip-drip process of getting victims prepped for what’s coming and slowly wading into the crime without raising too much of a ruckus from a dangerous enemy.

Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi
This is among reasons the long time president of Uganda didn’t make the trip to Europe… I mentioned Uganda in 2-3 or more Lineaments. It is one of most fearless countries in Africa, an avante garde in throwing off the yoke.
- It was one of first to welcome Lavrov in his first trip to Africa in July 2022.
- It pioneers intra-regional trade amongst African states, with a recent trip to South Africa to barter some of its coal in return for its products.
- It is one of the top tourist and cultural zones of our planet – a truly exquisite and hauntingly beautiful land, nicknamed “the Pearl of Africa” for its amazing diversity of fauna, ecosystems, perfect climate, and pleasant people. And they’re multi-cultural and mult-confessional maze of peoples too, living in harmony. During the 1880-90s, British Uganda was mooted as primary relocation territory for the European Ashkenazi “homeland” before geopolitics won out and Palestine was chosen.
- It not only ignored the LGBT craze and pressure, but went in the opposite tack to thumb its nose at the West with an anti-gay law signs a few weeks ago.
- It is slated to head the African Union supra-national group starting this December..
- Last year, the [playboy?] son of the president, a general too, had the temerity to offer a bride-gift to the petite blonde Meloni of Italy of some 100 of their prized cows, to celebrate her coming to power!
- And all these waves against the Hegemon while having a middling population of under 50M..
So it is a major thorn in the side of the Anglo-Americans. And now, like Serbia and other targets, its children at the schools are viciously targeted, albeit not the classical “crazy lone-shooter…”

BlockedWell it’s too early, and an insufficient trend as of yet, but based on military cadre wisdom such as Indian Maj Gen Bakshi and Ritter that only a few weeks’ life remains in the Ukies at present rate of attrition, and the sheer panic in the DC Swamp messaging “a pause” in the “counter-offensive” (a foolish misnomer), it appears they really ARE reaching for a unilateral pause.
Good luck with that.
War has its own momentum. Ukie politics has its own logic too. They need results to justify bloodletting an entire nation. And the ongoing new mobilization of the Pure Men of Galicia. And Russian cooperation, which will not be forthcoming.
So this is where Mr Simplicius may get a headache. It is the realization of his worst case scenario (if US prevails on Ukies to pullback) with Ukies withdrawing before being completely annihilated. And? It may get messy. Russians have a say too. Like putting pressure on a national Proud Victory by reclaiming Kupyansk, an even greater defeat than Bakhmut?? And other stratagems from the math-heavy bowels of the MoD.
And the Russians itch for an offensive. The best Ukie men are gone and ground down, even the newly trained ones chewed up. The really competent field foe speaks english and polish and french, and AD and armored vehicles are scant. The Ukraine is collapsing as a society.
An opportunity must be taken before the dastardly release a dirty FF in order to freeze the European campaign or enforce Poles & Gang into an official suicide. So many possible permutations are indicated by the slowing pace of this last day, with only about 100 sent to Bandera in the gray-zone grinder. The degenerate Neanderthals are really thinking hard how inconvenient proceedings do not end the bloodbath prematurely, or where to get in their last viciousness. And NATO’s kinda threadbare….

So many deep breaths and swallows in the calm before real storms. And we’re only two days before anniversary of Op Barbarossa and three days before Air Defender folds.
Shoigu’s warning about Crimea indicates the Limeys are focusing on atrocities in this direction to make the Russians pause and halt the inevitable. Let’s also watch Z-NPP, an eternal target, as messaged as far back as in 2012 with Dubya’s favorite cartoon, iPet Goat 2. In this cartoon, the mushroom cloud over the Black Sea came from that direction, towards Istanbul. They’re down to WMDs… This summer appears a hot Judgment for the fallen West, as Operation Z is at an inflection point!
ZZzzzzzzzz……………
When even the Unflappable Orifice is struck speechless, you know it’s a good question…

BlockedIs the pressure getting to B of MoA?!!! His latest post on the crazies conceding the Wolfowitz doctrine and submitting to BOTH Russia and China is surreal. An out of body experience! Where did I hear that before?

Don’t get me wrong, I was initially ecstatic. I had visions of Pfizer going broke as millions of sane middle-aged and elderly men abandoned Viagra through the exultation of voluntary Kneeling by our gauleiters rather than Nuking our futures…. then my brain kicked in… it is sometimes terrible having one!
(1) some guy pointed out the old party is returning to power in Taiwan, so Lil Blinkie was forced to verbally kowtow to One China Policy to protect his desired proxy, to avoid peaceful reunification at all costs. They still intend to suicide be well’s favorite island. Maybe delay it to 2024, after freezing Russia?? So the demented hope.
Nevertheless when even the ponderous and methodical Judge is astonished how Blinkie spoke so shamelessly out of three sides of his oily mouth, that is all B needs to understand the inherent lack of sincerity.
(2) Biden lies even when there is absolutely no need to. It is easier for him than sucking in air, which requires complex synaptic coordination, which is in short supply — both the viable quantity and its possible functional activity. So if he said Ukies will be held to normal MAP criteria, it means they’re already secretly doubly admitted, like that College head in Animal House which placed our favorite frat into double secret probation..
They’re called crazies from the basement for a reason dear B. And they’re just playing for breathing space, measured in days, not in decades, which they surely lack
