It was not a 50 year petrodollar thing that has finally expired, it did not have a 50 year time limit, it was a 5 year technology agreement between Saudi and the US.

How come we did not know?  The Saudis never said they are not going to sell oil for dollars.   The idea that the end of the PetroDollar is the end of US Hegemony or something like that, is just not correct.  Its important we know.
