  Before I get to the apocalypse, I have a few pictures of my own to post. The moon was out and smiling down on me tonight, so I took a picture to share. Whenever I see this, I know things are going to be alright.
  
  Also, my work setting up the typewriter shop is building to a crescendo. I am going to have a grand opening on 28 March. The decor is set, I will be using this week to make signs and prepare serviced typewriters for sale. These last few weeks have been very hectic, I’m definitely hoping the moon’s smile means some respite is near. Here’s a few pics of what I’ve been working on – call it a “proof of life” if you will.

    (btw this crew is insane/amazing- I think they are based in Hangzhou, and because they are so monetized on bilibili and other chinese platforms, they get to do wild ass stuff and then post for free with no ads on youtube)
    
    And then soon after posting the video, the original machine, thought to have been lost, was found in NYC, and is now on display at Stanford, talk about timing! =P Perhaps someday, if we are all still here and we all are using Chinese, new market share to spread into for your store! =D

      Whoa, I’ve heard of that typewriter but did not know it was found or a replica attempted. Great video! I am constantly astonished at the machining prowess of peak modernity. Unbelievable to make that typewriter in the 1930s and 1940s, it’s not like China was peaceful.
      
      I have spent time trying to resurrect (largely unsuccessfully) IBM Selectric typewriters, one of the most complex moving parts machines ever made, can’t imagine the care and precision that went into that. I do have a few Russian, French, Spanish, and Italian typewriters. I would love a Chinese one someday!

        The US Navy and ships generally – I don’t know about other countries. used in the radio room, a typewriter called a “mill”…which was all capitals… But I guess you as an expert knew that. I have been told they’re rare. I admire the fine work by the way. Thanks very much.

        Somewhere in the pile I have one of those old Navy typewriters in all caps. It needs some work, broken drawstring. Didn’t know they were called a “mill” though, that’s cool. I guess it makes sense, military issue. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, either, I just took the time to figure out how to do the basic work servicing typewriters.
        
        I’m glad you like the shop, it’s a little time capsule. Visitors to the store like it too, I’m just a room inside a larger thrift shop, they keep telling me I need more chairs because people find it relaxing. 🙂

  I know much of alt media is saying that Trump is an idiot and has made a huge mistake in Iran. Yes, that could be true. Of course, much of alt media pointed out that Ukraine was a mistake. And it continues to be one, but it also has the support of the Trump administration, which should tell us that the USA top does not yet see it as a mistake.
  
  This brings me to my real point, I agree with Nima and Craig Murray here in these two separate works where they say that the war with Iran was planned since essentially trump’s first day in office. It IS accomplishing its goals for the USA. They expected the straits of hormuz to be shut. Only a long attrition war like that in Ukraine will successfully turn this into a mistake for the USA.
