⭕ How Sudzha’s liberation became the ENDGAME for Ukrainian forces in Kursk

⚡️🇷🇺 Sudzha liberated! Russian troops have driven Ukrainian forces out of the city in the Kursk region, says Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

So, what led to this rapid collapse of enemy defenses?

      • No supplies = no army. Cutting off Ukraine’s supply lines in Kursk was the key to breaking their defense in Sudzha. First, Russia hit Ukrainian positions with Iskander-M missiles, crippling their support and air defense from the Sumy region. Then, they sealed the deal by cutting off their supply route through Yunakovka.
      • Gas pipeline surprise. Ukraine got a nasty shock when Russian forces broke through into their rear via the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline, once used to send gas to Europe. The bold move sent the West into a panic, with talks of blowing up all Russian pipelines.
      • The end of the “adventure.” Demoralized and battered by constant airstrikes, artillery, and drones, Ukrainian forces are retreating to the Sumy border. Full expulsion from the region is just around the corner. This is the result of Ukraine “sacrificing” large parts of Donbass in 2024-2025.

With Sudzha’s liberation, Ukraine loses a major negotiating advantage. But the bigger story? A strong, battle-ready Russian force is now freed up to create a crucial “buffer zone.” 💥

⭕ ❗️Russia’s troops are entering the FINAL STAGE of the operation to liberate the Kursk region, the Kremlin spokesman announced, citing the Russian Sever Battlegroup’s report to Putin.
⭕ 📌 Major world events by the morning of March 13

      • The Kursk region must be completely liberated and consideration must be given to creating a security zone along the state border, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a visit to one of the command posts of the Kursk group of troops;
      • Polish President Andrzej Duda called on Washington to deploy US nuclear weapons on Polish territory, according to the media;
      • Russian air defenses destroyed 77 Ukrainian drones overnight over the Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov and Belgorod regions, the Russian Defense Ministry reported;
      • The UK is interested in disrupting the normalization of relations between Russia and the US, as well as negotiations on Ukraine, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said;

⭕ 🇷🇺🇧🇾 The Russian and Belarusian Presidents will hold talks in Moscow today

Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in the Russian capital on March 13 for a state visit.

According to the Kremlin, the discussions include:

      • Key issues of the further development of bilateral relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Belarus;
      • Prospects for integration cooperation within the framework of the Russia-Belarus Union State;
      • Current issues on the international agenda.
✍️ In addition, the meeting is expected to conclude with the signing of several joint documents and a joint press conference by the leaders.

⭕ ❗️The town of Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region has been liberated, the country’s Defense Ministry reports

Sudzha is the largest settlement in the territory that was occupied by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.
⭕ ❗️Russia has reviewed the US and Ukraine’s statement following the meeting in Jeddah, the Russian Foreign Ministry says

Moscow is ready to discuss the initiatives contained therein during future contacts with Washington, the ministry added.

NB. the position on ANY “peacekeeper” has hardened. Before it was circumscribing NATO goons; now it appears ALL non-Russians on 404??]

⭕ ❗️The proposed temporary cease in Ukraine is nothing but a temporary respite for the Ukrainian military, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov says

According to him, Russia seeks for a long-term peaceful settlement that takes into account Moscow’s interests and concerns.

South Korea wants to sell submarines to Canada as relations with the United States deteriorate.

A delegation was sent to Canada to present South Korea as a reliable source of military equipment.

Maintenance facilities would be established in Canada, and unlike with American weapons systems, the South Koreans would give Canada full access to the onboard technology.

⭕ 🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️Russia has presented the United States with a list of demands for a ceasefire in Ukraine, Reuters reports, citing sources.

The agency’s interlocutors did not name the exact demands. But they said that they were talking about resetting relations with Washington.

They described the Kremlin’s conditions as “broad and similar to the demands it had previously made to Ukraine, the United States and NATO.”
[LOL. Cute. Did they brush off the Dec 2021 Ultimata, add cartoons and much imagery, reduce all words to max two syllables, and hand it over again?! What ever it takes to eat such sandwiches, which shall keep being served however way they want – as a package, a buffet, or a la mode]
⭕ 🇷🇺🇺🇦❗️Ukraine has used up all of its ATACMS missiles, AP reports.

The US has transferred less than 40 of these missiles to Kiev, and their stocks ran out at the end of January, the agency’s source said.

⭕ 🇷🇺💬🇫🇮Patrushev reminded Finland that the Gulf of Finland is not its property but all states are obliged to comply with the norms of international maritime law.

This is how the Russian presidential aide commented to the magazine “National Defense” on the plans of Helsinki and Tallinn to block Russia’s exit from the Gulf of Finland.
[Yoda and son’s warned two particular madmen in 24-hours – Perfide and Finns…]
⭕ 🇷🇺💬Aide to the President of Russia, Chairman of the Naval Collegium Nikolai Patrushev gave an interview to the magazine “National Defense”.

      Main points:

      • There is information that NATO countries intend to intensify terrorist actions against Russian underwater pipelines, tankers, and dry cargo ships.
      • NATO is practicing cyberattacks on navigation equipment of Russian ships to create emergency situations, including those leading to accidents.
      • There is a high probability of further increasing threats to Russian ports and freedom of navigation in the Baltic from the navies of European NATO countries.
      • Russia will not allow any encroachment on its national interests in the Baltic region.
      • The European wing of NATO continues its policy of blocking Russia in the Baltics, neglecting the restoration of dialogue between Russia and the United States.
      • Judging by the results of the EU summit, which decided on large-scale militarization of Europe, military threats will only increase.
      • Great Britain is interested in disrupting negotiations on Ukraine, as well as disrupting the normalization of Russian-American relations.
      • Finland, once again, as in 1939, is turning into a springboard for potential aggression against Russia, now under the auspices of NATO.

⭕ 🇷🇺💬Russian Ambassador to Britain Kelin on Moscow considering Washington’s ceasefire proposal:

We will consider the American proposal for a ceasefire. We will stop military actions only when we have a full, comprehensive agreement. Russia has repeatedly stated that a temporary ceasefire is not an option for resolving the situation.

In addition, the Russian side has expressed skepticism about any peace talks, insisting that it will take time to reach a lasting agreement. Russia is approaching the US initiative with great caution.
⭕ 🇷🇺Russian military liberated the settlements of Melovoy and Podol in the Kursk region — Russian Defense Ministry
⭕ The US has identified a mediator in negotiations with Russia – it is not Steve Witkoff, Yuri Ushakov told Zvezda.

A temporary truce is far from a long-term settlement that takes into account Russia’s interests, the presidential aide noted. No one needs an imitation of peace.

      ⭕ 🔥🧵 Excellent History Thread

I was an odd child in many respects. I first became obsessed with WW2 history at 8-years-old. I came to realize very early on that you NEVER want to make the Russians your enemy. The Russians are poet warriors. You cannot defeat them.

🔻 James Fitzjames Stephen: The Kaiser’s Imperial German Army did. So did the French and British in the Crimean War. I certainly don’t want a war with Russia, but no-one is invincible.
      [LOL. A salty limey]
🔻 WS: The western-facilitated Russian Civil War fractured Russia in WW1. The Crimean War was a strategic defeat for the French and British.
[and the latest Russian civil war in Novorossiya is wrapping up. Woe to the fools who are NEXT!]
🔻 James Fitzjames Stephen: Still an undeniable German victory. How the Crimean War was a defeat for France and Britain is beyond me when even the Russians regarded it as a loss.
🔻 WS: The Crimean War was a “victory” for France and Britain in the same sense Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan were “victories” for the US.
[and a decade later, the Russkie Navy made the Anglo-French eat bile on the two Yanqui coasts…]
🔻 James Fitzjames Stephen: The Vietnamese believe they lost the Vietnam War? The Taliban believe they lost, too? OK.

🔻 Peter St Onge, Ph.D.: The “domino” argument for war never gets old.

Russia is Mexico with nukes — literally same population, same GDP. The only reason it’s winning is that Ukraine is Sri Lanka without nukes.
🔻 WS: 🤦‍♂️ I never cease to be amazed by the utter nonsense that ostensibly intelligent Americans believe about Russia. (And the misinformed nonsense they believe about the meaningless metric of nominal GDP.)

Also, Ukraine was the most powerful military in Europe (by far!) in 2022.
🔻 Cannoneer Marine: Ukraine in 2022 had armored brigades that were the best in the world and would have been extremely difficult for a US Army equivalent to defeat. They were superb formations but they’re all dead or maimed now. Every single one. And not sure anyone could prove me wrong in that assertion, as like I’m the 3rd Reich, the best units were used until they were destroyed.
🔻 WS: This is a common but entirely false characterization of the Ukraine War.

Few people understand that the Russian army’s most impressive work in this war arguably occurred in 2022, which is when they eviscerated the original cohorts of the AFU.
🔻 Jydskatomkraft: Russia destroyed the original army, then the 2nd army which was rebuilt and then the 3rd attempt at making an army.

      It’s quite an impressive feat.
🔻 Matthew McCracken: Nominal GDP has us believing Italy has a much larger economy than Russia’s. These intelligent people can’t see how absurd that is. |voodoo|
🔻 WS: Listed by “Real GDP”, Russia comes in 4th, behind only
      China, the US, and India.
🔻 Matthew McCracken: And when we count the informal economy and use updated GDP base years add another 26% for Russia.

By the way, look at Mexico getting ready to leave the UK in the dust. |beauty|
🔻 WS: For many years, from many different people, I have heard it persuasively argued that Russia’s “informal economy” is ~40% of the “on the books” Russian economy.

And Russia is the single most autarkist nation on the planet.
🔻 Matthew McCracken: Prof. Michael Hudson believes 40% of the US economy is fake. Late fees for credit cards get counted as GDP growth, categorized as “Financial Services.”

The “economic powerhouses” of the collective west are service economies. Russia and China make tangible goods. |nirvana|

🔻 Doimo Manu: When NATO opted to support Ukraine, it was obvious that the weaponry would be stored there. Probably today all that listed capacity is much lower.
If this count is near the truth, the West has nothing to counter Russia. The question is: what is the real count?
🔻 WS: Everything on that list in the Ukraine column was former Soviet equipment.

The “real counts” in the remaining columns were considerably LESS than listed, and they are even less now after so much NATO equipment has been sent to and destroyed in Ukraine.
🔻 Holger Lehmann: The graph is missing one very important item: Air defence systems.
🔻 WS: This is true. But we can see very clearly in retrospect that Ukraine had, BY FAR, the best integrated air defense systems not only in Europe, but including US and Israeli IADS. The older model Ukrainian S-300 and Buk systems were more formidable than anything in the US inventory.
🔻 Holger Lehmann: My point. More stuff than most of NATO combined. Very mobile and developed for real warfare and not some air-conditioned showroom.
⭕🔻 Rob Lee: Photos of Anduril Altius loitering munitions.
🔻 Chris Combs: Any senior design team at a US university would be embarrassed to show up with this at their final presentation
🔻 Palmer Luckey: Name a single system anywhere in the world that does a better job of doing what Altius does.

Really easy to sling shit when you have no idea what you are talking about.
🔻 WS: America circa 2025 is the most accomplished producer of con men hawking mediocre products in all of human history. Coupled with clueless Pentagon procurement, the US military consistently ends up with crappy stuff like Altius, the F-35, and Ford-class aircraft carriers.
🔻 EL DUCK: Have you traveled to France recently ? It would change your mind
🔻 WS: Hyperbole is a rhetorical device, not a statement of objective reality — more a flourish than a fact, but still a valid vignette.
🔻 Spaceman 🇺🇲: He can’t come up with a unit cost because he knows it’s several times the cost of an Iranian/Chinese/Russian analogue.
🔻 WS: Russia/China/Iran all field (and manufacture at scale) superior highly mobile and man-portable long-range loitering drones with higher speed, greater range, multiple sensors, optional AI autonomy, and more powerful warheads than the already antiquated Altius.

IIRC, only the B-2 and F-35B have worse combat-capable rates than the aging F-22 — a platform with inherently limited utility.

Russian and Chinese jets can compete with the F-22 and F-35. They would outrange the F-22 in any realistic battle scenario.

At least 500 were delivered between late 2023 and late 2024. Only a minute fraction of them struck their intended targets. The ATACMS was an ineffectual embarrassment. A total bust.

Anas Hassan Khattab, aka Abu Ahmed Hudud (born 1987), is the current Head of the General Intelligence Administration in the Syrian Interim Transitional Government. He also serves as the Deputy Commander of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Idlib under Ahmad al-Sharaa and was the Head of the General Security Apparatus within the group.
Khattab left Syria for Iraq in 2008 when he was 21, with reports indicating that his departure was intended “to fight against the American occupation”, and fought under the “Islamic State” banner.
In 2012, he joined Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of “the Islamic State” and later al-Qaeda in the Levant, which later split from al-Qaeda and rebranded as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS.

⭕️ US and Israel reportedly approach Sudan, Somalia and Somaliland about resettling Palestinians displaced from Gaza under Trump’s proposed postwar plan

Sudan has reportedly rejected the proposal, while officials in Somalia and Somaliland deny any awareness.

According to the media, anonymous US and Israeli officials confirmed the outreach, led by Israel, after US President Donald Trump presented his plan to displace Palestinians.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, advocating for “voluntary” Palestinian emigration, stated Israel is identifying potential host countries and preparing a dedicated emigration department within its Defense Ministry.

Trump’s plan suggests permanently displacing over two million Gazan residents, with the US taking control and developing the territory. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hails this once unthinkable idea as a “bold vision.”

      📜 Dictating Terms
🔻 Ed H. Hanna: Some Thoughts on the Development

First of all, I would like to emphasize that, unlike the Western cards and ballgame players, President Putin’s statement in response to their unserious 30-day ceasefire offer is not only diplomatically and strategically masterful, but also genuine and highly empathetic.

Those who lack such intellectual and strategic acumen often fail to appreciate and tend to misinterpret such statements, as has been evident in public discourse during the last circa 24 hours.

President Putin has also made an extensive effort to help Western administrators evaluate their assumptions by posing questions on the details of their proposal to elucidate these assumptions.

Secondly, as for my thoughts on the surrounded troops and equipment—that is, if I had a say in the decision, I would recommend that, in principle, no one who trespasses on Russian territory or attacks Russian civilians should be permitted to escape either judgment or punishment, and no military equipment used in the invasion should be permitted to withdraw.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that President Putin mentioned these matters and stressed the latter point, albeit in a rather highly diplomatic manner, which may have unintentionally obscured the message, making the statement difficult to decipher for Western administrators and the public.

That said, the encircled “AFU” forces, including any embedded Western mercenaries or contractors, should only be afforded a single opportunity to surrender. Their weapons and military equipment should be either surrendered to the Russians or destroyed.

Druse of Suweida to Israel and NO deal with Damascus as falsely claimed:

In a surprising and fiery statement, Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri, the spiritual leader of the Druze community, declared during a local gathering in As-Suwayda Governorate that there is “no reconciliation or agreement with the political administration in Damascus.” He further accused the transitional government of extremism.

He emphasized that he “will move in the direction that best serves the interests of the Druze community.” Warning of the dangers of the current phase, he stated, “We are at a stage of ‘to be or not to be.’”

Meanwhile, a delegation of dozens of Syrian Druze clerics is preparing to travel to Israel today on a religious visit—the first of its kind.

The visit comes in response to an invitation from the Druze community in Israel who confirmed that the delegation is awaiting a “final security clearance” from the Israeli authorities.

The Druze clerics intend to cross overland from Syrian territory into Israel via the border town of Hadar in occupied Quneitra province (southwestern Syria). They plan to visit the shrine of the Prophet Shu’ayb, a revered religious site for the Druze community, and to meet with Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze in Israel.
[very sad for the Druze. Outta the fire of salafi nazis, into the pot of zionazis. Unbelievable. The world’s gone insane. They should review history to understand what occurs to collaborationists at hands of either side – the Quislings, or Vichy, etc etc]

⭕ Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is under an ICC arrest warrant for his war crimes, didn’t respect the 1st phase, ignored the 2nd phase of the ceasefire agreement and agreed to the new proposal by US ME envoy @SteveWitkoff for the release of 5 Israeli prisoners and a ceasefire until April 20th, when all other prisoners will be released.

This proposal can’t be accepted by the Palestinians because nowhere does it mention a permanent ceasefire, the end of the war, the withdrawal of all Israeli occupation forces from the Philadelphi and other inhabited areas in Gaza and the respect of the original agreement to fully respect the humanitarian protocol and allow the reconstruction of Gaza.

Benjamin Netanyahu is continuing the policy of starving Gazans and Israeli prisoners by denying food and medical supplies to Gaza, closing access to Gaza and cutting off electricity to the population. These are war crimes that Israel is ignoring and the international community is not trying to impose international law on Israel.
⭕ Abdullah Makki Musleh al-Rifai, known as “Abu Khadija”, has been eliminated in a decisive counter-terrorism operation in Iraq. As deputy caliph of ISIS, he also held key leadership positions, including governor of Iraq and Syria, head of the Delegated Committee, and head of the External Operations Offices.

On 8 June 2023, the US State Department designated him as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) for his leadership role in ISIS. Recognised as one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and the world, his removal represents a significant setback for ISIS, disrupting its leadership structure and operational capabilities

The Anglo-Saxons cannot bear the prospect of peace with Russia in Europe, as Donald Trump envisions, because it undermines their historic strategy of dividing and ruling the continent. A stable Russo-European accord would weaken the Anglo-Saxon grip over European affairs, diminishing their ability to manipulate security alliances, control economic dependencies, and dictate geopolitical narratives. Without a manufactured Russian threat, the pillars of NATO expansion, military-industrial profits, and transatlantic subjugation would crumble—an outcome the Anglo-Saxon elite finds intolerable.

The recent joint military exercises, dubbed Security Belt 2025, conducted by Iran, China, and Russia off the Iranian coast, have drawn significant attention from geopolitical analysts, highlighting the strategic implications of this collaboration.

“From a geopolitical perspective, the joint military exercises involving Iran, China, and Russia point to a growing strategic partnership among the three countries,” Dr. Darlington Ngoni Mahuku, a lecturer in the Department of Peace and Governance at Bindura University of Science Education, Zimbabwe, told Sputnik Africa.

He emphasized that Security Belt 2025 reflects “demonstrates a desire to create alternative power and security frameworks, decoupling from western dominated institutions and forging new paths for regional solidarity and stability.”

🗣 “The joint exercises demonstrate that Iran, China, and Russia are geared at strengthening their partnership and, in the process, ending NATO dominance, which is a Western military alliance that has been constantly misused in an endeavor to maintain Western hegemony and dominance,” Dr. Mahuku stated.

He added that the exercises serve as a reminder that Western powers can no longer dictate global politics unilaterally, and that “emerging powers in partnership with Russia and China are now asserting their influence,” he said.

      Bakhmut – winter 2022-spring 2023
      Zaporozhye – summer 2023

🔻 WS: You are laboring under a misconception.

Euro-NATO has been de facto demilitarized to the point of being combat-incapable for a generation.

US stockpiles are severely depleted, its production capacity exposed as woefully deficient, and its weapons exposed as largely ineffective.
🔻 Vicente López T. ✝ 🇲🇽: Yes. It definetly seems that way.
Moreover, the timing of the Rus counteroffensive seems suspicious and very coincidental, to say the least.
Right when Ukraine thought they had a strong bargaining chip in Kusrk in a possible negotiation, Russia suddenly goes: “No, you don’t”.
🔻 WS: Exactly. When they decided the fire bag had yielded all it could in terms of men and equipment, they closed the whole thing down in a couple weeks, and entrapped the remnant forces.

The casualty ratio in this 7+ month battle is at least 10:1 in favor of the Russians.
🔻 Brian Stark: What I kept telling idiots on Quora. Kursk in not a stalemate. It’s a slow mo killing ground .. Especially as trees shed their leaves in November. There was no concealment and little cover
🔻 Anton Moric: I hope that you’re wrong. Because Russian civilians suffered horribly at the hands of NATO/UKR. 2,000 are still missing, w/ many probably in mass graves, as have already been found. If preconceived, why didn’t the Russians evacuate their civilians?
🔻 Nineglyph: They did evacuate but there are always elderly villagers and pensioners that don’t want to leave all they have. I saw one vid where 4-5 people had been found executed in their house along with the family dog.
🔻 WS: From what I have been able to ascertain, the Russians began quietly advising residents to evacuate several weeks in advance. And they conducted well-organized evacuations in the initial days of the operation. But they did not compel an evacuation, and many chose to stay.

I have seen scant evidence to support the claims that “many thousands” of civilians have died. But I do not dispute that “many hundreds” may have.
🔻 Randall Adams: When Zelensky refused to retreat in Bakmut the Russians had his number
🔻 WS: I do not believe Zelensky has ever had any control, or even meaningful influence, over military matters.

I do not believe the AFU has ever done anything at the operational or strategic levels in which NATO officers were not intimately involved, and most likely in direct command.
[Where’s Love-handles Milley and the Beached-Admiral Radakin! Their mugs are permanently etched in the History books]
🔻 WS: 🔸In relation to the issue of civilian casualties, and in the context of my argument that the Russians anticipated, prepared for, and deliberately baited a potential NATO/AFU incursion into the Kursk region last summer, pursuant to creating a large cauldron on favorable ground.
[reposts his comment just above, “From what I have been able to ascertain …”]
🔻 Pandem(on)ical Order of Good Cheer: You may recall, as I think I do, what appeared to be a geniune expression of anger directed by Putin at the Kursk Governor, or so it seemed. Prof Marandi talked a lot about it – and how Iran even offered Nasrallah refuge in Tehran once the war started… but they chose to stay and wanted martyrdom. And got it..

But they will outlast the dying Imperium, which cannot kill an Idea, nor Truth, nor has much time left to it. How many wars has USUK won since ww2? And even ww2 was a soviet Victory.. So it is in every meaningful joust with the Majority nowadays. West Asia is no different, except in the magnitude of bitter losses to come..

The Caravan of Martyrs is far from full, to shortly receive streams of Persians … but we know the eventual outcome, like nazis wandering aimlessly into Kursk to fertilize more rich Russian soil.

Don’t be sad dear emerson. Yes, mourn worthy lives and chapters of noble stories that closed, but ineluctable Victory is ahead, as in Novorossiya

⭕ 💸 The use of foreign currencies such as the USD in intra-African trade costs the continent about $5 billion annually, an expert says

Dr. Melaku Geboye Desta, Coordinator of the African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC), made the statement citing Afreximbank data while speaking to Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the 57th session of the ECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Addis Ababa.

🗣”The moment we remove the non-African currencies, the hard currency serving as an intermediary, the moment we start saving the transaction cost involved in the conversion and reconversion process, we believe trade will be facilitated, it will be cheaper, it will be more competitive,” he noted.

According to the expert, it is out of this thinking that the continent came up with the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), which involves the work of clearing houses that operate without the use of an intermediary currency.

🗣”And through that, we believe that there are huge opportunities to save on the transaction cost and to facilitate, to speed up, to expedite and to make it more competitive to conduct trade between our own countries,” Dr. Melaku Geboye Desta pointed out. |media|

      • The targeting of civilians is additional evidence of American terrorism against opposing peoples and nations.

      • The aggression will not go unanswered, and our armed forces are fully prepared to respond to escalation with escalation.

⭕ The official spokesperson for Ansar Allah in Yemen, Mohammed Abdulsalam, stated that the American airstrikes on Yemen are a blatant aggression against an independent state and serve to encourage the Israeli entity to continue its unjust blockade on Gaza.

He argued that the claims made by the U.S. president regarding a threat to international navigation in the Bab al-Mandab Strait are untrue and misleading to international public opinion. He clarified that the maritime blockade declared by Yemen in support of Gaza only targets Israeli vessels until humanitarian aid can be delivered to the people of Gaza, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli entity. This Yemeni blockade was announced after a four-day grace period for mediators.

He emphasized that international navigation in the Red Sea will remain safe from the Yemeni side, and that American airstrikes represent a return to militarization in the Red Sea, which is the real threat to international navigation in the region.

ALL the GCC were involved without exception on the aggression against Yemen. Saudi airspace was used en route from Cyprus, Bahrain, Qatar, and UAE. Kuwait and Oman remain silent and part of this block, and so complicit..

And indeed, I suspect this entire ostentatious operation was carried out by the supranational cabal of hyenas to distract Yemen by drawing it into war on surrounding desert bedouins. Yemen will be forced to respond to aggression originating on ANY other’s soil. And thereby start the long desired regional war on Yemen by the cowardly compradore arabs.

IOW, murder of PetroSheikhs is being arranged at Yemeni hands, jump-started by Orange, working on behalf of Zion, that cannot exist whilst the people of Greater Arabia are marshaled against them. The same reluctant compradore arab suicide as we see being forced on the Eurocrazies’ suicide at Russian hands. All we can say so far is that Orange resumed the wars in both 404 and the Holy Land theatres, confirming the murder-suicide of the Anglo-Zionists against the civilizational-states remains on track. He advanced our march into Armageddon.

Orange & Gang were dragged into this war on Yemen (the other fronts deliberately going quiet) on Yemeni terms and timetables. Certain denouements are inevitable, and written into the Stars – like the ongoing evisceration of nazis in Novorossiya and Kursk.. the same must occur in SW Asia for closure.. and the fools rushed in to take the Bait.
NB – the Yanqui escalation opens possibilities, just on the cusp of Persia being attacked by the rabid, for YEMEN to soften up and disable the Yanqui bases on the occupied fat desert bedouins. Note above the four that facilitated the aggression last night: Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and KSA. ALL four are much much closer than Zion, which got/will get pummeled by projectiles up the wazoo. This may open the window of opportunity to evict those bases, and solely focusing on those Yanqui bases. Interesting days ahead for the GCC and their suzerain……

⭕ Yemen Ansar Allah said it has “targeted the USS Harry Truman with 18 missiles and drones in retaliation to the US aggression and targeting 47 positions in several provinces in Yemen.”
⭕ The US has launched attacks on targets in Yemen and is expected to continue its operations for several more days. However, the strikes are less about directly confronting Yemen and more about sending a strategic warning to Iran.

Despite this escalation, the US is not engaging Iran militarily or effectively deterring Yemen. Even as Washington takes a more active and confrontational stance in the Middle East, its efforts may ultimately fall short of achieving long-term strategic success.

⭕ 🇵🇭⚖️ Arrest of Filipino ex-president: A warning to Trump and a sign of the West’s last struggle?

Rodrigo Duterte faces accusations from the International Criminal Court (ICC) for “crimes against humanity” related to his war on drugs. However, Chinese expert Qin An interpreted the arrest as a political strategy by Western powers, suggesting a collaboration with current Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“This also signals an attempt by the deep state, which had been suppressed by Trump, to demonstrate its power and influence as the global order shifts,” he said.

In an interview with Sputnik, Qin highlighted the paradox of the Philippines executing an ICC warrant in 2025, despite its 2019 withdrawal from the organization, and sees the 7,000 police deployed for Duterte’s arrest as part of an “internal and external conspiracy.”

Qin further linked Duterte’s detention to past Western interventions, drawing a parallel between The Hague’s role in prosecuting former Yugoslav leaders and the conflict in Ukraine.

“This event is reminiscent of NATO’s bombing of Yugoslavia and the NATO expansion that fueled the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Similar to how Yugoslav leaders were captured and sent to The Hague, the ICC has now issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, Russia has stood firm against NATO, defending humanity’s last line against Western dominance,” he explained.
⭕ ❗️The Houthis have threatened to attack all US warships in the Red and Arabian Seas in response to the strikes on Yemen

They also said they would continue to block the passage of Israeli ships in the Red and Arabian Seas until humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip resumes.

⭕ U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed ‘My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker’ on his inauguration day, has since bombed three countries: Somalia, Syria, and Yemen. This is in addition to $12 billion worth of military aid sent to Israel and the 100 U.S. troops stationed there to operate two ‘THAAD’ air defense systems, which were moved to Israel in October (on Biden’s orders), with no news of their removal from the Pentagon since.

These three countries, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen, have remained U.S. targets since Obama’s presidency, during which he was bombing seven countries simultaneously at one point.

Trump has repeatedly spoken out against ‘endless wars’ since his first term and opposed military intervention in the Middle East just two months ago, stating that ‘We got nothing out of it except a lot of death.’ However, his actual policies remain unchanged.

But, as I did then, I still believe it was a kamikaze run.
      🤔🧵 The Kursk Kauldron
🔻 C1: Russia will never tell, so it will always be a topic of debate… but I personally think you are correct.
🔻 WS: If Kursk was indeed conceived as yet another trap into which the NATO/AFU forces were lured, it will likely be many years before an authoritative admission of the fact emerges. Even then it will provoke controversy.

But it will be studied in war colleges for generations to come.
🔻 C2: If that was the case, they should have removed the civilian population before those arseholes got their hands on them. The rapes, torture, & murder could have been avoided.
      🔻 WS: reposts old:
“From what I have been able to ascertain, the Russians began quietly advising residents to evacuate several weeks in advance. And they conducted well-organized evacuations in the initial days of the operation. But they did not compel an evacuation, and many chose to stay.

I have seen scant evidence to support the claims that “many thousands” of civilians have died. But I do not dispute that “many hundreds” may have.”
🔻 Matthew McCracken: Remember Lt. General Roger Cloutier? It was alleged that he was cornered in the Azovstal Plant in Mariupol in May 2022. The “fact checkers” stated this was false. This Lt. General “retired” in Oct 2022 and has not been heard from since February 2022. |media|
[An excellent reminder of the last time the supranational nazis howled so in their psychotic social media effluvia. It appears more “quiet retirements” will flow, like smooth Chinese streams over unperturbed polished pebbles]
🔻 Pink Shirt Migo: What do you think about British and French troops getting involved in the war? Is this mainly for show, or is there a real chance of this happening?
🔻 WS: In my estimation, there is almost ZERO chance of the British and French sending troops to Ukraine, and exactly ZERO chance of them surviving long if they are sent. It’s all ridiculous silly talk.
🔻 C5: Jim Jones had nothing on this death cult.
🔻 C6: They never should have carried out this operation.

It’s when the West’s propaganda war is more important than the real military situation. They failed to capture the Kursk nuclear plant, failed to improve their negotiating position, and took heavy losses that hasten their defeat

      ⭕🔻 Inevitable West: 🚨BREAKING: It’s confirmed:

Hungary just passed the largest tax cut in Europe & the entire Western world.

      – One-child mothers are exempt from income tax until they turn 30.
      – Women with two or more children will have no income tax for life.

Every European nation must do this.
🔻 Big Serge ☦️🇺🇸🇷🇺: People love to celebrate Hungary’s pro-natal policies but they haven’t come close so far to returning to replacement rates. So far what they’ve done is go from very bad (Italy) to only regular bad (UK). Barely denting the problem.
🔻 Big Serge ☦️🇺🇸🇷🇺: This isn’t to imply that they’re wrong to try, but if you want a serous solution to the natality problem, you need to look beyond Hungary.

Industrialization is basically antibiotics for the human population.
🔻 WS: There are only a few distinct cultural groups in the western world that remain above replacement level.
      🔻 GrandContrarian: Like who?
🔻 WS: My people still remain above replacement level — about 2.5 last I checked.
      ⭕🔻 Ian Ellis:
Air & naval strikes, including Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAM) fired from cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64), targeted senior Houthi commanders & hit radars, air defenses, missile & drone systems in Sana’a, Sa’dah, Al Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Ma’rib, & Al Jawf.
🔻 WS: Given the VLS loadout for CSG-8 (USS Trembling Puppy, 1 CG, 3 DDGs) had to be biased towards missile/drone defense, and even allowing for the presence of an Ohio-class missile sub, I reckon 30% – 50% of the available Tomahawks were expended in these strikes.
🔻 C2: And what about USA defensive missile expenditure?
I read ballistic and cruise missiles were sent in response.
🔻 C3: Surface ships will become extinct unless air defense catches up fast.

I don’t think the Pentagon has really thought this thing through.

Whatcha gonna do Pete? What’s the play here?
🔻 C2: What do you think will happen next?
🔻 WS: It’s hard to predict how stupid these people will be.

All I know is that everyone should be paying closer attention to how seriously Russia, China, and Iran are now coordinating their actions — including both a high-level summit in Beijing and naval exercises in the Arabian Sea.
🔻 Johanna deMartin: He bought the Israeli position hook, line, and sinker.
🔻 cognitivedissonanceeverywhere: I would think this nonsense would be a bad idea while they still haven’t resolved this Ukraine fiasco.
🔻 Punished ZZZapling ♋️: “The play is that — forgive my crudeness — we want to compensate for the unimpressive size of our phallus.”
🔻 C6: I’d say the play is huffing puffing and chest thumping. And Pete’s just the guy to do it.
🔻 Brandon: I think it’s pretty obvious what they’re doing. As I told you they would do. War with Iran.
      [Enter Iran..]
      🔻 WS: “War with Iran”

People keep using that phrase. I don’t think it means what they think it means.
📜 All for One and One for All
🔻 Brandon: I do. It means WWIII. As I’ve been warning (which is why I have long favored a containment + deterrent strategy).
⭕🔻 War Intel: #BREAKING U.S. intelligence sources claim that Iranian warships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden are providing real-time intelligence to Yemeni forces, aiding strikes on Israeli-linked vessels.

This alleged coordination highlights Iran’s strategic role in the escalating maritime conflict.

This alleged coordination highlights the US/NATO strategic role in the Ukraine War.
🔻 Warwick Powell | 鲍韶山: The more things change the more they stay the same.
      🔻 C3: Do as I say.
      Not as I do.
🔻 C4: We have gone beyond the point of return. We are now into geopolitical war.
⭕🔻 MenchOsint: 🚨 The Yemeni Armed Forces announce to have targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Truman & its accompanying destroyers for the second time in 24 hours.

The attack was carried out in retaliation of US agression on Yemen
      🔻 WS: 🤔 Passing Thought

If I’m a guerrilla force like Ansarullah, and have, say, 1000 antiquated drones/ASCMs, and a dozen previously withheld but much more capable ASBMs … I’d bleed off US air defenses with my old stuff, and then launch the good stuff in a single salvo.
[LOL. Teaching Yemenis the art of war is like teachin a granny to suck eggs]
🔻 C2: When does it bleed off tho?
🔻 WS: Surprisingly quickly. The “magazine depth” is quite shallow, and they cannot rearm at sea. The Yemeni have already chased off 2 carrier strike groups from the Red Sea for the simple reason that the US ships ran out of air defense missiles.
      📜 Magazine Depth and Shields
🔻 Stjärnhimmel: The Truman carrier group will be going back & forth to nato bases in Mediterranean to refuel & refill UNLESS…

Ever Given happens or an earthquake hits a bridge in Suez Canal.

Yemen Ansarallah would be having a bowl of truman red sea soup for dinner.
🔻 C4: Essentially the US doesn’t have the missiles available to carry out a sustained conflict against the Houthis.

The only way this ends is with a embarrassing loss for the US. Prosperity Guardian was already a failure and now Trump is going to inadvisably double down on failure.
[No… the nazis are getting demilitarized on all fronts. And they’ve no intention of retreating or conceding.. so the tools will use different tools]

Hal the Fink claims y’all better fill up the gas cans asap…claims he’s got the inside dope.

I am thinking that our Houthi brothers have previously been restrained, shooting to wing’em, force, but not full force. But in response to the heat from the nazi airforce, and the extermination campaign in Palestine, this restraint is now ended. They will now, imho, shoot to kill. They will now attempt to destroy a US warship, especially a carrier. I bet they will do that. They can, and will.

And… I have the notion that the Straits of Bab al Mandab and Hormuz will shortly be closed.

And I have the notion that the nazis are about to bomb Iran, which is to say that Iran will do what they must then do.

Orange wants “decisive combat operations” on Yemen. He will get that, but the decision produced will not suit him. After that things may get highly emotional. After that zone Orange will have great inclination to use nuclear gadgets.

Orange has short fingers, small feet… if you take my meaning… he’s compensated, imho. Being exposed will create a personal crises that may have very ugly results.

⭕ 🚨 Gaza ceasefire is OVER

Air strikes continue throughout the Gaza Strip, killing at least 100 people, Reuters reports.

“Netanyahu and his government have decided to overturn the ceasefire agreement, exposing the captives in Gaza to an uncertain fate,” Hamas said in official statement.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Israel warned Trump about tonight’s Gaza strikes.
Israeli tanks reportedly open fire on Abasan in eastern Khan Yunis, Gaza

According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces, Israel launched massive air strikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas political bureau member Izzat al-Risheq said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to return to war means a death sentence for the Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip.

The truce between Israel and Hamas officially ended on March 1, but hostilities have not resumed due to attempts by mediators to involve the parties in continuing negotiations on a settlement in Gaza.

The death toll from Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night had exceeded 326, according to the ministry of health, with hundreds injured.

With the US approval, Israel violated the ceasefire. It resumed the war on Gaza, killing 236 people, only for the Israel prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, with an ICC arrest warrant for his war crimes, to remain in Power.

🔻 Abū Luʾluʾ: Elijah, the past 70+ years let alone 18 months of genocide is all the proof we need. Ballistic and hypersonic missiles should be raining down.
🔻 EM: By whom? While Lebanon is licking its wounds, Syria is bombed and yet flirting with Israel and attacking Lebanon, Iraq has been out of the equation for a while, and Iran is a country (not a militia) avoiding a war with the US?
🔻 Abū Luʾluʾ: You don’t have skin in the game. I have family in the region who are terrified because they know the enemy is relentless and won’t stop until they get a bloody nose.

The resumption of the war on Gaza, the end of the ceasefire unleashing hell on the Strip & the bombing of Daraa and Al-Kiswah in the Damascus countryside with multiple air strikes will open the door for Itamar ben Gvir’s return to the govrnmnt & strengthen Netanyahu’s coalition.
⭕ So the President of the United States is content to kill hundreds of civilians, mainly children, in Gaza? Nothing new really. All previous presidents have done this before him, supporting genocide and mass murder of civilians. |media|
Prepare for a long war: Israel has committed a massacre in only a few hours and has violated the ceasefire by refusing to respect phase one and move to phase two. It is targeting civilians and political and administrative members of Hamas who are not involved in any military activity and who have been visible for 15 months.
Israel will go to the end because Netanyahu cannot withdraw now. Netanyahu is neglecting the Israeli prisoners and is counting on the USA (@SteveWitcoff surrender plan) to achieve the impossible goal of Hamas surrendering without negotiations, a plan he hasn’t achieved in 15 months and won’t achieve in the coming months. |link|
🔻 🇵🇸🔻: Is there any chance Hezbollah will begin resistance activities against the Zionists still in Lebanon?
      🔻 EM: Unlikely.
⭕ Was Donald Trump re-elected for him to be complicit in the killing of 113 Palestinian children in Gaza in a few hours only?

      Shame!
⭕ The only people to blame are Benjamin Netanyahu – who didn’t want to stop the war even when he agreed to the ceasefire, violated phase one and never participated in phase two – and the US envoy Steve Witkoff, who blew up the ceasefire agreement and imposed an extension of phase one, adding his own conditions.
[keep the duplicity of this zionazi in mind, as do Russians as they “negotiate” through his “good offices”]
⭕ Benjamin Netanyahu, with an ICC warrant for his war crimes, today, with the approval of the USA, killed more than 412 people and wounded more than 500 in just a few hours by bombing the entire Strip. With this move, he will welcome Itamar Ben Gvir with open arms in order to strengthen his coalition in the government.
⭕ The Palestinian resistance is preparing for a possible ground invasion, a return to the Netzarim corridor and the north of Gaza to confront the occupation forces. All options are on the table.

Of course, hardly anyone realizes Russia and Iran share an interior maritime border (Caspian Sea), and China and Iran are only separated by friendly Afghanistan.
🔻 Pandem(on)ical Order of Good Cheer: I find plausible arguments for both perspectives. But as intuitions go:
      1. RF would directly defend China & *might* directly defend Iran.
      2. Iran *might* directly defend Russia but how much help could it be to China?
      3. China seems unlikely to directly defend RF much less Iran.
🔻 CatoTheYounger: I’m already against war with Iran, no matter the false flag excuse the US warlords try to use as their excuse for yet another war. [welcome to the chat. Your grand-daddy’s refrain is most apt to the global gestalt!]
🔻 WS: The thing very few understand is that a US ground war against Iran is simply out of the question — a material and logistical impossibility. 1991 and 2003 were a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

As for an air campaign …

First of all, it must be understood that the tall tale that Israel penetrated and savaged Iranian air defenses last October is just another chapter in the mythology of #TheImaginaryWar.

No Israeli aircraft crossed the Tigris, and contrary to common belief, there was never ANY credible evidence that any front-line Iranian AD systems were destroyed. All we ever saw in terms of credible post-strike BDA was a Vietnam-era Hawk system that was almost certainly placed as a decoy.

If the US/Israel launch a major air campaign against Iran, they would no doubt inflict some damaging strikes, but they would also suffer significant losses — fighters, tankers, ISR platforms, punishing strikes against their bases in the gulf region, and very possibly ships sunk or severely damaged in the Arabian Sea. (There is zero possibility the US Navy could enter and operate in the Persian Gulf in the context of a war with Iran.)

The whole idea of making war against Iran is madness.

And the idea of making war against Russia and China is orders of magnitude crazier.

The US is the one who attacked Yemen.
🔻 C4: Will, you are smart enough to know there is a MAJOR difference between air strikes and boots on the ground!

Air strikes remind the Houthis they need to stop with the troublemaking.
      🔻 WS: Non sequitur.

In any case, the Yemeni had ceased attacking regional shipping since the ceasefire in Gaza began.

THE US ATTACKED YEMEN WITHOUT CAUSE, AND THE YEMENI FIRED BACK.

🔻 WS: What is this “punch back” nonsense? Iran hasn’t attacked the US. The Yemeni had ceased attacks on regional shipping since the Gaza ceasefire. The US attacked Yemen without cause! And now they’re threatening both Yemen and Iran because the Yemeni tried to defend themselves? 🤦‍♂️
🔻 Autodidact: Maybe it does take place. Maybe it’s inevitable, not to sound like a cynic. But can you deny that Americans will be majority of the last remaining golden billion?

🔻 WS: I know what the “Golden Billion” is. What I don’t understand is why you apparently believe the US will survive essentially unscathed in the event of a great power war.
🔻 Autodidact: I am in that camp. The strategic advantages the US has are unparalleled. It is going to be supremely bloody is what you’ve been saying, if it ever gets to that. Agreed. But still, US will be the last one standing. Time will tell.

🔻 Roberta Sutton: Well then. Trump will have to learn the hard way. Iran can beat him EASILY AND Israel. No need for China or Russia to come in.
🔻 WS: I don’t believe Iran can “beat” the US and Israel “easily”. All I believe is that Iran can “HURT” the US and Israel severely, if it comes to war — not to mention it is entirely possible Russia and China would get involved in such a war.
🔻 The Poets Of Zwan ⭕️🪶🏴‍☠️: Gabbard has been 5 different ideologies since 2015. A chameleon who can change on a dime. She was probably the mole in the Bernie 2016 campaign. A deep state operative no doubt.

🔻 WS: Recognize Crimea as Russia?!!! Crimea IS Russia, whether the US recognizes it or not. Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson are also Russia, whether the US recognizes it or not.

Offering the Russians things they already have is meaningless.

🔻 Heidi Wurst: Will is correct. That’s also why the Yemeni Houthis decided to blockade the Red Sea … to protest Netanyahu’s genocide in Gaza and West Bank until is ceased. Once WW3 ignites with US attacking Iran, it will not be easily stopped.
[yes. why I said in early 2024 or late 2023 that every one of the Gazans is doomed. I have not changed my mind one bit. Yet they have salvation and the next life. Every zionazi that survives Armageddon will be hunted down on this mortal coil. They long ago chose the path of Masada]
🔻 David Eire: Good point 👍
      Pure evil
🔻 Free Cow Flow: Will, I have learned much from you. Thank you. Has there been a recent upgrade of missile tech that is making these CSGs vulnerable or are we just waking up to the truth?
🔻 WS: For the most part, the Yemeni have been using antiquated “hand-me-downs”. They are obviously not high-precision weapons, but they get close enough to force an air defense response. And that exhausts the limited AD missile inventory of a CSG. So then they run away to restock.
⭕🔻 Sean Berube: A vicious battle ensues

The crew battles the whale for 3 days

They fight fiercely and nobly, but in the end, they stood no chance |THREAD|
[beautiful thread. On the “civilizational” level, it also encapsulates each iteration of the beasts of the Babylonian System, including the Last Satanic Empire. For which they were each given the Carthaginian treatment, whether at mortal or supernatural hand. And the vengeance about to be fall like a black cloud was long prophesied to involve both hands. One appears to be Russian]

🔻 Sean Berube: On the 3rd day, Moby Dick bests the crew:

He sinks their ship, and only one man lives to tell the tale

As for Ahab — he harpoons Moby Dick himself, but gets his leg caught in the rope:

The whale drags him into the depths of sea, to his doom
🔻 Sean Berube: So what is the moral of this story?

Ahab’s fate is not just a cautionary tale:

It warns you about the greatest spiritual danger of all — the unforgivable sin

But what is this sin, and why is it so deadly?
🔻 Sean Berube: The Bible calls the unforgivable sin “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit”

But how do you blaspheme against the Spirit?

      Aquinas explains it succinctly:

“Sin against the Holy Ghost [is] final impenitence…”
🔻 Sean Berube: “It is unpardonable:

the mortal sin wherein a man perseveres until death will not be forgiven in the life to come”

The unforgivable sin is not a single act of evil:

It’s a continued, unrepentant state of being that leads to damnation
🔻 Sean Berube: Ahab is not damned because of one act of evil, but because he refuses to repent

He has chances to turn back:

Warnings, omens, even the pleas of his crew—but he hardens his heart, sealing his fate

He follows his bloodlust to the grave…

      What could have saved him?
🔻 Sean Berube: Ahab’s fatal flaw was pride — he valued ambition above God

      He needed repentance

Denouncing this ambition wouldn’t have just spared him:

He would’ve lived a great life of virtue

      Why? Because repentance sanctifies you
🔻 Sean Berube: Repentance is not mere apology — it’s self-discovery:

You discover your vices, conquer them, and grow in virtue

Repentance forges you into the virtuous man destiny calls you to become

True greatness, then, begins with the strength to humble yourself
🔻 Sean Berube: So Moby Dick isn’t just a warning against the unforgivable sin

It’s also a guide to glory:

As Augustine reminds us, seek first the foundations of humility, and you shall be exalted

A repentant heart leads you to a life of glory and everlasting virtue

🔻 C5: Straight from Netanyahu’s mouth. The Americans and Israelis always use Iran as pretext to murder and destroy the region without ever making a dent to Iran itself.

Go ahead Tump, get this over with already and start a war with Iran and leave poor Yemen alone.
🔻 Patarames: Sounds like the latest missile/drone salvo composition Yemenis launched against U.S. Navy ships brought them closer to their limits?

Who knows anyway.., Trump is an unstable fella
🔻 WS: I wondered the same thing as I read Trump’s post. If CSG-8 was parrying the blows without much trouble, why would Trump be so worked up about it?
🔻 Patarames: Sequenced escalation to avoid inflicting real pain.

Iran thought that strategy to Yemenis during the conflict against Saudi Arabia.

You don’t want to hurt the ego of a big boy if you can avoid it

The US attacked FIRST. The Yemeni responded to that attack.
The Yemeni have become Moby Dick to the Ahabs in the Pentagon — particularly the US Navy.

Therefore they came back to “settle the score”, and apparently that entails bloodying the Iranians as well. |link|

🔻 Ambrose: Idk if it is about settling a score with the Houthi, inasmuch as they are a gateway to further aggression against Iran.
🔻 WS: Yes, if the ultimate objective is to make war against Iran, then it is a prerequisite to secure the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb, Gulf of Aden, and Arabian Sea to seaborne US logistics.

Of course, then you have to secure the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, which they cannot do.
🔻 Ebr Pho: Even a 155mm with basebleed shells or 333mm unguided artillery battalion in Iranian soil could target USN around the strait. There are also mines, rockets, drones, missiles, subs, uuv,… and … Taking control of the Hormuz strait is almost impossible
🔻 WS: It has long been fashionable to refer to artillery as “the god of war”.

My sense of the matter is that, more often than not, geography is the god of war.
🔻 Ambrose: I didn’t mean the physical gateway leading to Iran itself, but the propagandic path. As in blaming Iran for Houthi defense of Palestine thus turning the causality of the conflict on its head. It isn’t Israeli aggression causing this but Iranian! Therefore more pain on Iran is ok.

🔻 Ephemeral: Not so much revenge, imo. US started bombing Yemen preemptively bc Israel was getting ready to start its bombing campaign in Gaza today. Iran has been US-Israel’s golden dream to have full hegemony on the ME … and throttle China’s access to oil

🔻 WS: I’ve seen nothing so far to indicate the Yemeni have missiles which, on their own, would be likely to sink a US ship … unless, for example, a guided-missile destroyer (DDG) got hit in the middle of its vertical launch system (VLS) and set off a huge explosion. That would do it.

⭕ ‼️ Many people continue to believe that the Ukraine War has been a repeat of WW1. 🤦‍♂️

Quite to the contrary, we have witnessed multiple revolutions in warfare — and the Russians are the pioneers.

These are very sobering accounts of the disordered withdrawal from Kursk:
      links:
🔻 — GEROMAN — time will tell – 👀 –: Rezident 🇺🇦 on TG writes about the Kursk adventure:

“The result of Zelensky’s Kursk adventure became obvious to everyone, but in August 2024, everyone rejoiced at the senseless waste of reserves and people. The statement by Defense Minister Umerov will go down in Ukrainian history: the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a “planned redeployment to more advantageous defense lines.”

“Horror film”, “catastrophe”, “collapse”, “failure of the front”.

This is how the Ukrainian military describes to the Air Force their retreat from the Kursk region – under constant attacks from Russian drones, which cut off the main supply route from Sudzha to Sumy.

On March 9, fighter “Vladimir” wrote to the publication that he was in Sudzha, where “there is panic and the front is collapsing.” Ukrainian troops “are trying to retreat – in columns of troops and equipment. Some of them are being burned by Russian drones on the road. It is impossible to leave during the day.”

“We have all our logistics here on one highway Sudzha-Sumy. And everyone knew that [the Russians] would try to cut it off. But this again came as a surprise to our command,” the fighter says.

Before Sudzhi returned to Russian control, he wrote that Russian forces were pressing them from three sides.

Another fighter, “Maxim,” says that “the enemy managed to destroy dozens of pieces of equipment,” and the debris “created traffic jams on supply routes.”

“Anton,” who served in the Kursk Front command headquarters, called the situation “catastrophic.” He said he managed to get out of Sudzha on foot, but at night “we almost died several times. Drones are constantly in the sky.”

He believes that Ukraine’s entire foothold in Kursk will be lost, but “from a military point of view, the Kursk direction has exhausted itself. There is no longer any point in holding it.”

A fourth soldier, “Dmitry,” compared the retreat to “a scene from a horror movie: the roads are littered with hundreds of destroyed cars, armored vehicles, and quad bikes. There are many wounded and dead.”

Their car was stuck in the mud, they were being hunted by a drone, and they hid in the forest for two hours before being rescued. “Dmitry” said many Ukrainian fighters retreated on foot, and “the guys were walking 15-20 km.” The situation, he said, went from “difficult and critical to catastrophic.”

On March 14, he stated that “in the Kursk region everything is over… the operation was not successful.”

He estimates that thousands of Ukrainian troops have died since they first crossed into Russian territory in August.”

🔻 WS: It is not true that 3 US carriers are headed towards Iran.

The US Navy has not been able to put to sea more than 3 combat-capable CSGs in many years. There are currently only 2 deployed (CSG-1 and CSG-8). CSG-5 is idle in Japan. No others are currently combat-capable.

Ostanina, along with the State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin have previously warned against initiatives that may be deemed “offensive,” after lawmakers floated ideas such as introducing a tax on childlessness, obliging employers to monitor birth rates among staff, or releasing female prisoners in exchange for childbirth.

Last year, birth rate in Russia declined to its lowest level since 1999, with a further decrease projected for the current year. The country’s population has also been shrinking in recent years, falling from 149 million in 1993 to 144 million in 2023.

To address the demographic challenge, the government has increased financial incentives for families with children, has promoted traditional family values and banned propaganda of “child-free lifestyle.”

they actually may be “old” – in terms of the iteration/quality of the tech shared by Iran. Smoothie tonight in his video talked of Russia being on the second generation of hypersonics. Iran is similarly working on newer platforms, like I shared above on the one like Oreshnik.

So yes, hypersonics have yet to take hold in the West (or any non-civilizational-state) but dirt-poor Yemen, the ace (or joker) in the Resistance’s side, may have one of the older hand-me-down from Iran. Not a bad “old” weapon, which some usual suspects would sell their mothers to possess!

Being under stringent embargoes, sea interdictions and sabotage, and lacking direct land access, and without much of MIC potential in recipients given their abysmal circumstances, Iran has widely shared its blueprints, trusting to local production of armaments by each individual militia/state… Iran has in essence functioned as the R&D and dispenser of advanced tech for the entire Resistance; subsequently each front then adapted it to local needs, and often battle-tested them on the fat noggins of Zion or USUK.

The current local self-sufficiency of Yemen was re-emphasized by Mohamed al-Bukhaiti recently (here). The genie is already outta the bottle. Iran has ensured the death by a thousand cuts will remain in effect, even when they are decapitated and set back.

I reckon Eschatology not much different from modern Doomerism, whoever invented it was probably really depressed about the state of the world in that time and place. And this (as now) was a very reasonable way to feel as a vulnerable human being.

      However:

Most people on the planet are not Christian and even among Christians eschatology is a minority  belief mostly used for political manipulations or frightening the following.

There are many and varied religious and spiritual beliefs and practices all over the world.

Eschatology is just another example of blinkered white western exceptionalism. How can any prophecy coming out of just one minority sect (be it minority Christian or minority Jewish) pertain to all the billions of humans?

For that to be the case the eschatological believer has to be someone who thinks their faith is the only correct one, is this not so?

Above all all eschatology is tribal, just as empire is tribal  and the current evolution of the world demands an end to tribalism and its replacement with international tolerance and cooperation, and only based on that we will have peace.

      From Merriam Webster: eschatologies
      1
: a branch of theology concerned with the final events in the history of the world or of humankind
      2
: a belief concerning death, the end of the world, or the ultimate destiny of humankind specifically : any of various Christian doctrines concerning the Second Coming, the resurrection of the dead, or the Last Judgment

yes, it is the PoV of a minority. But a hefty determinative minoritySo it has usually been in human history…

Actually BOTH muslims and christians have this in their scriptures or traditions.
Wiki (take bucket of salt) says global percentages are: 2.4B Christian + 1.9B Muslim outta 8B = 54% of world.. so not insignificant at all.

I am not aware of the actual percentages of that 54% which believes in these narrations, or is even practicing and observant of their faith. Maybe not as scant as in the West, but if even half, that’s about a quarter of the world’s population.. enough to form a constituency forcing the action, as we see in the deranged insistence to annihilate to the last Palestinian, no??

Reality is really filtered through perception. What some consider delusion or quaint is as real as rocks to different cultures or peoples.

Most Orthodox or muslims are easy going and focus on the square ground around their feet, not caring for eschatology or end times or any higher calling.. However both groups are currently being exterminated and slated for comprehensive Final Solutions by those who consider themselves Chosen. It is really THESE latter groups, mostly Zionist (western Christian and jewish and liberal satanist) that serve as the crucible of our predicament and Antagonists of All, enacting the Book of Revelations according to their unusual beliefs. And History drives all sides to the denouement..

just today I was talking to a younger relative of a mighty Fire lit by these crazies in Yemen, one which shall help burn down our entire world… one really should not put a Russian or Yemeni with their backs to the corner, in a do-or-die scenario

i don’t know how to edit my post in this section?  i wanted to add that I can also see how Eschatology is a kind of hopefulness that good will prevail over evil,  and i do not see anything wrong with hope or belief unless it is weaponised against the “other”

in my view, one person’s belief cannot include the nonexistence of certain kinds of ‘others” no matter how evil they appear to be, there has to be an inclusivity in belief for it to pertain to the entirety of humankind.

Every human has a dark potential and we as humans have to work out a way to reeducate, contain and minimise the worst of human darkness since to eradicate it would mean no humans at all.

China hasn’t imported liquefied natural gas from the US for 40 days, the longest gap in almost two years, as traders are forced to divert shipments elsewhere to avoid Beijing’s tariffs on the super-chilled fuel.

The barren streak is the most extended since June 2023, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg. There currently aren’t any US shipments en route to China either, according to ship-tracking data from Kpler, an analytics firm.

The trade war provoked by the Trump administration is threatening to decouple the world’s biggest LNG seller and buyer. Beijing slapped a 15% tariff on US LNG shipments from Feb. 10 in retaliation for blanket American levies on Chinese exports. In response, Chinese gas buyers with long-term commitments to US projects are reselling those shipments to Europe, according to traders. |media|
