The blood moon is nearly dead, but the war rages on.  Every day it seems there is less real information about what is going on.  A number of people posting online were arrested in Jordan over the past few days, including one of our sources – Middle East Spectator (offline since Sunday).  We all know what this means – the war is not going well for USrael.  The narrative must be maintained no matter what the cost.

Even if you think Trump is a buffoon, the reality is this war must have been gamed out in advance by USrael war planners.  I saw someone today describe Israel as the brains and the USA as the muscle of the operation.  Maybe.  But surely no one serious is surprised by what is going on.  So what exactly is the goal – burn all the Gulf allies, burn all of empire’s military bases, burn Israel – to what end exactly?  What exactly is the hoped-for victory in this situation except total destruction?

I’ve speculated this is Trump surrendering to Russia/China, leaving chaos and flames as the US (and Israel?) exit the region.  Others speculate this is pure hubris from the empire who is being shown what life is like here in reality.  True believers think Trump is playing 5-d chess, and they’re trying to figure out the motivation, and think maybe the new refinery announced in Brownsville (see below) is a key move on his chessboard.  Kill off the competition, force energy flows to come through Texas.  Hard to see how one or even ten new refineries in the USA would keep the petrodollar alive and the global economy afloat.

I have more thoughts, but no time to share them now.  I do expect this war grind to continue for a bit, so I will hopefully address this more fully soon.  In the meantime, the journey towards apocalypse continues.  Will someone pull the plug?

p.s.  Going on a family trip tomorrow, I won’t have time to research.  Will post what I can.

Refinery. https://gulfnews.com/business/energy/trump-unveils-first-us-refinery-in-50-years-with-reliance-deal-1.500470536   Is not “opening”… it does not exist. It’s designed (they say) for shale oil from US production… and if it is built the design calls for 168,000 barrels per day. Nice, but woefully trivial. Donya’s bullchitlies are just that. They say they’ll start building, grading I suppose, movin’ dirt and diggin’ holes for foundations – that kinnastuff… before July. Given the scab-lovin’ ways of li’l ol’ Lone Star zone the quality will be poor…(ahseen ’em run sch 40 in high pressure steam line – I know.)… but maybe the plant will be doin’ some hydropressuretests in 3 years… Stumpy says product in 5…if they ever finish.

Witkoff’s “no reason more than 20%” is a lie. For example, many submarine reactor use 93%. U235 fuel. Moreover, Iran does have the legal right to enrich – it’s part of the NPT. Witkoff’s a lyin’ confidence shyster.

Question: wrt new oil refinery in Brownsville, Texas, USA …

Brownsville sits adjacent to the border with Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

      Brownsville, Texas – Wikipedia
Brownsville (/ ˈbraʊnzvɪl / BROWNZ-vil) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas and the largest city and county seat of Cameron County, located on the western Gulf Coast in South Texas, adjacent to the border with Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

In October 16, 2024 … the following was announced:

Woodside Energy begins operations in Tamaulipas with US $12B investment

Woodside Energy begins operations in Tamaulipas with US $12B investment

So, whose oil is Trump announcing? Mexico’s? Venezuela’s?

      Enquiring minds want to know

[I’m sleep deprived and have an old brain … so forgive if I’m ‘over my skis here’ (as the kids today – or was it yesterday – say)]

And on another note: They didn’t call it ‘Clean Break’ for naught … just the other day I saw on the interwebs that Nutty’s greater isreal project calls for America’s removal from the ME (after Iran is destroyed of course) … (sigh) wish I could sleep … too much conniving going on …

cronetoo – I expect a fight between Trump and Bibi.  Not looked at it clearly, but Bibi is nowhere to be found.
And Trump as we know is lying his head off. Can they sustain the romance?  I think it is breaking.

Amarynth …I agree … saw this on my fav Russian’s site, and he is reporting on Bloomberg (says):

        https://t.me/VA_Nikonov/56716

‼️🇺🇸🇮🇱As the war drags on, the US and Israel’s positions on Iran diverge, Bloomberg reports.

▪️The US President said Washington’s military goals against Iran have been “virtually achieved” and the conflict could end soon.
▪️Netanyahu, on the contrary, makes it clear that he considers the campaign far from over. According to him, the goal of the Israeli leadership is to create conditions under which the Iranian people can overthrow the existing regime.
▪️While the US and Israel continue to demonstrate unity and cooperate militarily, officials from both countries acknowledge the risk of growing differences as the war drags on.
▪️Former Middle East Director for the US National Security Council Michael Singh explains the difference in positions by geography: after the campaign ends, the US will be able to shift its focus to other regions.
▪️Israel, he said, will remain in the region and will directly face the consequences of a war with Iran.

wrt alfred at locals’ ceasefire conditions – looks like alfred does not intend for there to be a ceasefire … which sounds great to me

as Gunner says … Iran submitting to a ceasefire while clearly in the driver’s seat is like (forgot his punchline – something like one football team over the other team 12 to one, agreeing to a tie ?) or, imo – similar to the 12 day war last June when USreal called Uncle and Iran ‘ceased’ … ask alfred what happened to ‘Hell NO!’

So Sean’s daily update brought something up darkly hilarious- China is actually the world’s largest oil refiner. And they aren’t even operating anywhere near capacity- the US is operating at near capacity all time. And the Chinese refineries are setup for multiple forms of refining beyond fuel, including fertilizer (Kevin at ICB already did an earlier video last year about fertilizer production being kept in China and Russia as the largest producers). So all those strategic reserves that are getting released, guess where they gotta go asking for help? Really can’t make this stuff up.

I knew it .. not 2 minutes and the wailing starts .. they did not veto, they abstained … therefore they are fill-in-the-blanks.  But understanding why the abstention .. oh no, that is too much like hard work.

People need to read the previous abstention speeches of both China and Russia .. and the speeches at the start of this one.  The reasons are clear.  It is not according to international legal norms and they will not participate as it is all wrong, from inception.  This month the US is in the chair … What do we expect?   And Israel is not fulfilling its UN mandate.  This one .. oh my, not even a word on the resolution that the US and Israel started this war.  Not a damn word.   Iran is wrong and that is all there is.

The whole UN plus its tentacles are way off the mark.  I cannot say why Russia and China are still there but nobody should be.

It is not Russia and China – it is this group of countries:

Five permanent members: China, France, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and ten non-permanent members elected for two-year terms by the General Assembly (with end of term year):

        Bahrain (2027)
        Colombia (2027)
Democratic Republic of the Congo (2027)
        Denmark (2026)
        Greece (2026)
        Latvia (2027)
        Liberia (2027)
        Pakistan (2026)
        Panama (2026)
        Somalia (2026)

Go and scream at this list of countries.  What the hell is Pakistan doing there?  And Colombia?  Voting for this resolution where the name was not even correct.  Are these countries unaware of the dirty games that are being played here?  Are we in such a bad state that they go and vote for such crap, where the names of the US and Israel are not even on the resolution?  We’re in a world of idiots.  I changed my mind on the UN and its tentacles.  It is not the systems that are wrong, yes, they are broken, its the bloody fools that inhabit the place.

Just got back.  Trying to follow the logic here for China and Iran.

          1. The resolution in the UN Security Council is, as you say, “not to international legal norms”
          2. The United States is the chair of the Security Council at the moment.
          3. Israel is not fulfilling it’s United Nations mandate.
          4. The resolution blames Iran and ignores USrael’s role

          Therefore

          5.  Russia and China abstain…

          6.  Despite both Russia and China having a veto, which would kill the resolution (precisely the move the United States has made in the past with countless resolutions regarding Israel).

          Hmm…

I don’t agree that the anger should be directed at other countries on that list.  Let’s go one by one

          • Bahrain – vassal
          • Colombia – right-wing takeover, favorable to Trump, vassal
          • DRC – helpless
          • Denmark – NATO
          • Greece – NATO
          • Latvia – NATO
          • Liberia – helpless
          • Pakistan – trying desperately not to anger the wrong people, the one glaring bad actor on this list
          • Panama – vassal
          • Somalia – helpless

So we have 3 NATO members (hegemon), 3 helpless African nations, and 3 vassals.  Plus Pakistan.  Between vassals and NATO there are enough votes to pass this resolution.  Makes no sense for the African nations to anger Trump and receive economic or military blowback.

So China and Russia abstaining means that this resolution is allowed to pass.  Are they trying to demonstrate the UN is beyond useless – agreeing with the United States?  Are they trying not to anger USrael too much?  I don’t know.

Unless there is something else unspoken that comes out of this, my only thought is these verses from the Bible – Revelations 3:15 & 16:

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!

16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
