The Long March (长征 Cháng zhēng), 1934 – 1935 (Part 8)

From breaking through KMT encirclement in Jiangxi Province, defeating constant pursuit and interception, to finally joining forces in Gansu Province

The Long March was not only a strategic shift that determined the survival of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Red Army, but also an epic journey marked by immense hardships and heroic struggle.

The Red Army forces broke through the Kuomintang troops’ encirclement, pursuit and interception, and successively joined forces in the Shaanxi-Gansu region, reaching a forward position against Japanese aggression, which marked the final victory of the Long March.
