Joint statement by the “Mecca Alliance”: “Immediately begin implementing collective-defense commitments, and rapidly deploy the necessary forces and military capabilities to Saudi Arabia.”

So, apparently, these “Muslim” states, who somehow managed to go three years without hearing much about Gaza, perhaps because 99% of its population happens to be Sunni, have suddenly rediscovered their sense of solidarity.

But this time, it is not Gaza that moved them. It is Yemen.

Yemen rose to break a siege that Saudi Arabia had imposed for years, an entirely unjustified blockade that contributed to famine, disease and immense suffering. And suddenly, the emergency is real. The troops must be mobilized. The military capabilities must be deployed.

You almost get the feeling that Quraysh has gathered once again to march against the Prophet pbuh.

But when are these sorry excuses of humans going to learn that numbers, alliances and military might do not necessarily determine the outcome.
