    Personally I don’t trust Dmitriev, and suspect AfD is being setup as the party to push the war against Russia once in power. Also, that tweet is a bit nonsensical, since Germany will never have energy sovereignty without taking over other places with energy and energy resources, like say Russia or Ukraine or African/Middle Eastern nations. So it would seem for Germany, peace and energy sovereignty are two opposite competing ideas. But that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

        I think Dmitriev represents the certain oligarch interests in Russia. I am concerned that he is tight with western finance bros as well. Both of those make me think that his loyalties lie elsewhere than with the interests of the Global South. Just in general I don’t trust anyone who spent time working for major western banking/finance institutions. They don’t let you in the door if you aren’t in agreement with their overarching worldview on a macro level.

    Just for the record .. they lifted sanctions briefly and May and re-instituted the next montth. It had to do with legal stuff because Francesca was going to charge them through ICC .. then they sanctioned the court itself. I have no idea where the legal issues stand.
