  Friends, I am feeling a bit better. No rest for the weary though, my reward for feeling better was crating all the typewriters out of the shop and setting up their new resting place. Still much more work to do I must be out by the end of today, so I’ll most likely leave this post and update it for the weekend.
  
  Thanks to all for your well wishes. FWIW I am not too sad about the typewriter shop, I am old enough that long ago I learned when a door that I want to be open shuts in my face, there is a reason. There is always a reason. So I have accepted reality and will move on.

  I have finished moving everything out of the typewriter shop. I don’t know what to say except I have a feeling of deep peace about it. The time for the typewriters has not yet come. Something like people in America are not yet sick enough of technology and where it’s taking us to appreciate the wisdom of the old tech. I don’t know, putting my favorite typewriters in places where I can enjoy them again felt like a new kind of freedom. As the tweet below says, I feel things are rigged in my favor and I’m going to ride the wave. cheers.
